The Feather Forest Guard who came from above asked.

"Disturbance? No, none at all." Several Feather Forest Guards shook their heads simultaneously.

"What happened above?" one of them asked.

Without the commander by their side, they spoke more casually.

Given how the several underground palaces had been blown up like that, some loosened stones collapsing again was possible.

After the other Feather Forest Guards had left, those guarding started making sarcastic remarks.

"When has the commander ever been so generous?"

Their commander was like a vampire, sucking their energy dry; how could he rest until he did?

"Yes, keep guarding, once it’s time, someone will come to replace us," another person replied.

"But it’s strange, we felt nothing here when there was shaking above?" he pondered and asked.

The surface had felt the tremors, but they felt nothing here, which might be a bit odd since they were the ones actually guarding underground.

"Maybe it was just a minor tremor, the imperial tomb is already so damaged, some areas collapsing again isn’t odd," the previous Feather Forest Guard said.

While speaking, he even made a joke.
