Chapter 651: 10.01.5 Run foolish god.

A month-long journey, and as boring as it was, there was no getting behind it. They were soon going to be in enemy waters, and safe and steady was the way to go so as to not be detected under the radar.

The mages can only do so much before their movements can be detected. So it was better to stray further away from the oddities on the sea that they came across, of which there were many, the uncharted waters were graves for the seafarers, the sea clan and the monsters that live in the water were things of horror. If not for their inability to survive outside of water, the land would have long been occupied by these monsters.

This is why, Wajih used the proper course usually frequented by the merchants, though only from a distance, he didn’t dare to stray too far in fear of entering the dangerous territory, nor too close fearing attracting attention.

It was for this reason that he came across a stench that made his body tremble. ’So wonderful.’ The blood smelled so strong, so powerful and so much. But such smell also let him understand one thing, the unseen enemy on the sea was strong, far stronger than he could imagine.

So he didn’t speak much, although unaware if they were human or anyone with sentience, Wajih could ensure one thing from their movement, they were moving further away from his range, they feared him as much as he feared them. A sign of intelligence, a sign that the enemy didn’t wish for a conflict. And Wajih, albeit how he looks on the surface, is a madman. He let them go.

While keeping his men unaware of the matters, as there was no need to make them panic.

But this doesn’t mean he had no intention to know what or who these people were. With a will, a small blade floated out of his belt, a blade that appeared simple and far smaller than the blades that Wajih usually used in combat. But this blade was a bit special.

Made with the blood of certain noble family who were famous for their detection methods, Wajih can borrow the downgraded level of their ability using this blade, which was nothing more than an extra floating eye with a mouth in the middle.

’Show me.’ It floated from the air, towards Farhad who might be ignorant of such an entity following him, but Rosso, inside Farhad’s stomach felt the glare of his enemy through his eye of Melancholy. "There are pursuers." He spoke in Darkness, letting Farhad know, who created a few eyes on his body to cover the area and there it was, although smaller than a fly and far from his reach, he could see a small eyeball that floated in the middle of the ocean, glaring at him.

’Fool.’ An eyeball was hit by what appeared to be a small bone spike, shattering it into pieces, though only for a little as the pieces came together and reformed into the eyeball again.

Though this warning from Farhad was enough, Wajih had already made up his mind to not mess up with such a bizarre creature after seeing it change its form and growing eyes out of nowhere, antagonizing it will only create trouble.

’Seas really are odd.’ He spoke, letting the eyeball carry a piece of the shattered bone spike to the ship. And then from that born, he extracted a slight amount of Iron from the blood and marrow inside of it. The amount was too low for one to even notice its existence, but Wajih just smiled as he took out a small glass bottle and placed the dust into it. "I will hunt you one day." Wajih feels that if he can extract all the iron from this blood, it won’t be hard for him to reach the peak of Grandmaster, there is even a chance for him to become a legend one day.

So to him, this beast was important, and tracking it wouldn’t be hard considering he had his iron with him.

"We are leaving?" Spoke to the ignorant Amir, he should be aware of our intentions to some level, but acting ignorant like always.

"This continent holds no value for us anymore, we will be going to Azad, it’s ripe for opportunities," Owl spoke, his eyes shimmering with a blue light as he looked over the horizon. "But as you have refused before, you won’t be coming with us."

"Leaving everything behind? I expected that you have more friends here. What will become of them?"

"You can learn that all on your own while being here. So say your goodbyes to my sister, this might be the last time you see her." Owl appeared cold on purpose, though his true self was not so different.

A man blinded by his own arrogance, he was unaware of seeing past the limitations that were imposed on him by his own grandfather, but it was good enough, even if he refused Owl, he had already become a tool of mine. Even if he knows it or not.

"Let him go, the seed had been planted in his head, as well as his body, his future is bleak as long as he stays here," I spoke to Owl, who was still getting used to hearing me while awake. An ability that was not hard to come by since achieving my rank as a totem.

A broken one weakened to the extreme, but that’s enough. The future that remains in front of me is a wonderful one. Something that the fool cannot ever imagine.

As for those I am leaving behind? Who says I am cruel enough to do that? All of them carry a part of me, as long as I wish, I can communicate with them, lead them, and let them do my bidding, Emotion that arrogant god can’t even fathom the opportunity that he lost.

If there is something I regret, it’s not meeting my Niece one last time, the most I can do is leave some message for her, nothing more than that considering the eyes that will be on her due to my existence.

Sorry for her, I really do feel sorry for what she had to go through due to my absence. The only innocent one in this breakup, her mother turned to someone richer than me, leaving me behind. I can only think of the impact this divorce will have on her.

But enough about me, let’s focus on something interesting at the moment.

"Move." Far into the distance, in the mainland of Brihma continent, the round body of Crow stumbled as it walked.

My soul was too weak to currently control my body properly, and I couldn’t maintain control over such long distances easily, making it so that my body slept more than it remained awake.

However, that was not even the main issue. "You bastard... trying to revive inside of me." Though I won’t lie, I hadn’t been free from the trouble at the moment.

No, the situation was far more dangerous than one can imagine. "A weak one, play with us." Spoke the anamorphic voice of the green, coming out of my own throat lacking any humanity. And with that voice, the plants around me grew a bit thicker.

The damage to my soul had let the blood that flowed inside me finally overtake my soul, parasitizing it and recreating a persona of the original owner of this blood, Lakram.

The mischievous tree god of Thousand faces. A god that used to take the form of a child to play with mortals. A god that was felled by none other than the Sun God.

"Would you like to play? A game of who can run the fastest?"

"Run? Fast? Yes YES YES!"

"Then run, let’s see who wins once we reach that tree."

Not too far from Crow’s body, there was an Avatar of Emotion, overlooking his prized possession running away from him like a foolish child. "Jester, you win for this day." The current struggle of Jester was not hidden from him, no, in a way he forcefully ensured that in case Jester was able to escape his clutches, he would never fully recover to his peak.

It’s his insurance to prevent any future trouble. ’It would be good if you get consumed by that foolish god.’ That was Emotion’s curse, his hope that Jester would come to an end this way. His only chance of preventing retaliation from a dangerous being like him.
