Chapter 589: 9.09.1 The Hobo Dwarf.

There was no chance for Rosso to spare these two. Ignoring the fact that they had lost any value since reaching land, Rosso with all the evil he had done thought it was better to balance his karma by taking out people like him. Bad people that have done great harm to the common people.

He didn’t understand why it mattered to him. But he still did, and it became the primary reason why even under the begging of the Captain, Rosso didn’t spare him. As for the secondary reason, it was something much more rational.

Currently, in his hands were two heads bound together with the long braided hair of the Voodoo master. With each head holding the two dangerous relics he chose to bring with him.

Understandable considering the place he will be going, so backup was necessary and needed, and what’s the best carrier for these cursed relics than the head of two powerful transcendents? With a bit of tweaking and rituals, the heads became the perfect carrier that would perfectly hide the aura of the relics, using his own Curse of isolation as a resource.

Making it perfect for Rosso to walk in the open with these two dangerous heads unknown to most people.

"Should we meet him?" Asked Kairut, but I shook my head in denial. There was no need for such a thing. Rosso seems to be doing fine on his own, and by meeting up with him, he might lose his agency and turn into a passive participant in this event that would soon befall Pulgasiri.

So the best course of action still remains to not only ignore him but actively hide from him. Unless he is forced into a corner, there is no need to lend support to him. ’It was a theory when I last remember, but that madman truly succeeded in building it.’ There was love in my eyes for this creation of mine, though I won’t deny the hard work that Vegal might have put into this all. Making him a partial father to Rosso as well.

But I do wonder, who was used as a material for this operation. And how did Soros come to be when earlier he had kept denying resurrection all this time? ’Or is it really Soros to begin with?’

However, the answer will be learned at a later date. "He will be found out by the remaining participants though." Kairut’s concerns were real. Even with the strength of the Curse of Isolation, Rosso might not be able to escape the effect of Domain and find out. Though, that was if the situation was tilted to one side. "Don’t worry, no one wants to be the first to expose themselves. Just stay here in silence, let them make a move."

The situation here was tense, ignoring the unique armor that the Dwarfs piloted, the insignia on them told enough of their background and the kind of parties that might be involved.

The Lynx Clan were nomads in the early days with no home of their own. Detested by the dwarves that lived in isolation and survived by hunting beasts and selling their furs for resources.

They were so weak that they didn’t even have a bloodline, and the only reason they were named Lynx was due to the giant Cat they used to train to track down their prey.

But it was these giant Lynx Cats that dragged the dwarves of the Lynx Clan toward the greatest prey they would have ever caught. It was none other than the man named Vekantaraman, the father of Industrialization whose actions had changed the entirety of Brihma Continent.

As for the Lynx Clan? They never stopped rearing Lynx, though instead of treating them as hunting partners, now they were nothing more than pets for the Dwarves, only kept there for symbolism. While their original job had long elevated to new levels with the knowledge and support Vekantaraman provided them. Turning them from the Nomads to a technical Savvy clan which were more than just meets the eye.

Their current strength rivaled that of the Ancient Guardian Clans, and in some ways, might even exceed them depending on how much they have grown in recent years. This doesn’t seem plausible considering the balance that is maintained in the Pulgasiri.

Though since the Lynx Clan carries the insignia of that old Dragon. They might be an exception. ’But bringing them here, what are your intentions?’

Rosso had felt some oddity since a while ago, he can feel gazes thrown his way for a while now, including the ones that almost made him stop in his steps.

’There are Legendary beings here.’ If they came here, it would mean that many interested parties want to involve themselves in Malidi’s matter. All of them want something from him and everyone would want to have him for themselves. Though why such a sudden growth of interest in him?

Rosso didn’t know, but there were some ideas. Each of these would lead to a single conclusion. ’Heroth’s madness had in turn caused Malidi to come into focus.’ Well whatever the case was, considering the goal he had, Rosso didn’t mind if it was someone else who rescued that old man instead of him.

As long as he can let Malidi know the state of his Master, he will have succeeded. This is why the curse of Isolation will come in handy at this moment. The two things he brought into the heads were for emergencies when he had no way out.

’Let’s go.’With those thoughts, Rosso started to make his way towards the entrance that had been implanted in his head. Before he could get any closer, he saw a giant moving in the distance, making him pause in his path. ’What is that?’ He wondered for a bit.

This was the first of its type that Rosso had seen, with the eye of insight, he could see the little dwarf that piloted the ship, and the strength of that dwarf was no more than Adept. But Rosso also felt that dealing with this giant MAAS armor that was more like a vehicle than armor was not going to be easy if he didn’t use his curses.

Most of his blood attacks would be rendered useless due to the armor plates alone that were far thicker than the ones used on MAAS armors, which if the previous experience has to go by, would mean instant defeat for Rosso. ’Why are these dwarves building these things?’ Cursing at his fate. Rosso knew that he needed to stay away from these Armored Dwarves.

Not like he needed to put an effort to do such a thing. As long as his curse remains active, he can remain invisible to most of these Dwarves as long as there is no pervert like the Prince from before that could track him due to his blood.

However, it would help Rosso much more if he kept to himself.

He ended up doing this. After passing multiple of these armors and even listening in on the dwarves to learn what they were, he finally came to the location marked as the entrance to the caves.

Not long after he had arrived, a stout Dwarf with barely anything covering his body also appeared out of nowhere in the scene.

At the entrance multiple Titan Armors were lining up to surround the area, making sure that no one came close that didn’t belong to their own. So why did a hobo-looking Dwarf come so close and there had been no reaction by these people?

The answer to that was apparent soon after.

The moment this Dwarf came close to the armor, all of them stood still and gave a proper salute, followed by a voice that spoke in a laughing tone. "Sir Gael, didn’t expect you to arrive so early." Spoke Arbood while his armor opened up to expose a feeble-looking dwarf who seemed to have stepped into death already. ’Hmm.’ And from the looks of it, the majority of these Titan operators were pretty much the same.

They were old and feeble, with no potential for growth, which is why they were sent on this suicidal mission.

’So why this man.’ Rosso tried to look deeper, though it would seem his eye of melancholy produced some results, warning him that caused him to shut off his eye of insight right that moment. But it was already too late. As the Dwarf named Gael opened his eyes for a bit and with an animalistic smile, spoke. "We already have some guests here." He turned to look around for a bit, then finally focusing on the place where Rosso used to be, Gael truck his feet, causing the ground to fracture like spiderwebs, causing some of the tian units to destabilize with some even falling to the ground, much to Arboods shame.

But Gael didn’t care, he just kept focusing on a certain area, before sighing. "Coward Bastard..." Spitting to the side, he looked at Gael and spoke. "The Enemy was standing right in front of you, and you couldn’t even find him?... "
