Chapter 561: 9.03.1 True face of Dragon.
But even with such pain, Rosso didn’t lose hope. He did work out the sentence: "I won." It was inaudible in the ocean, but Amir still understood it.
Though there was no panic on his face. Dragging Rosso’s body to the surface of the seas, the flap of his face armor released as he said. "So you think." Turning Rosso’s body toward the ship... there was nothing.
"??"
Rosso had failed, the talismans were already in the air stirring and sticking to the bodies of the Knights, while the curse energy in Rosso’s body started to die down under the suppression of the nails.
For the past month since seeing the devastation, Amir had prepared for the fight.
From the reports of the survivors, including those from the Knights of Deceit that were struck the hardest, a certain picture formed in Amir’s head, and it didn’t take much effort on his end to prepare some countermeasures for this bizarre opponent of his.
’A powerful curse user with blood abilities.’ The Knights of Deceit faced utter annihilation in front of Rosso’s curse powers, and unlike his men, who were mostly at Master rank, the entire regiment of the Knights of Deceit was built up of Grand Knights. And even they couldn’t do much against such an absurd opponent.
But this didn’t mean that Amir couldn’t. ’Exorcist... as well as the armor."
Then was the other issue. ’He can turn invisible?’ None of the spells and methods worked, most of their lies didn’t work as well, and the opponent could somehow hide from the perception completely. This is where he looked for a way to track the blood tracking method passed down in his family.
Which only worked when a member was close by.
’There should be more... I need to be sure of success, without a single loss.’ Lives were on the line, and he couldn’t make a mistake during preparation. The opponent was a monster far stronger than him to a certain extent, he needed to capture or execute him at the fastest rate possible, because who knows, what he might pull off at that point.
You never know what else your enemy is capable of doing, so don’t give them time to respond. Overwhelm them before they can even think anything up.
Or so was Amir’s plan, which turned into a perfect success.
"My blood." With one of his eyes bleeding due to the spike stuck in his skull, Rosso cursed.
The pain never goes away, you just get used to it. "It’s... flowing out," Rosso spoke again, feeling the injuries were not healing as fast as he had wanted.
There was something else in his body, spreading like a virus, entrapping his blood and curbing the flow of the Curse energy.
A complete sealing. ’They were far more prepared than me.’ Rosso had seen the scene of his defeat. From the moment his seals didn’t work, it meant that he had failed to play the game. Chance of survival, he can’t say for certain. All he hopes is that Dragon will come down to save him.
But it would seem, that even Dragon was struggling against his opponent at the moment.
"Bring in the coffin, we are leaving this place." Amir in his giant armor flew back to the ship, and giving one look towards the Exorcist as a sign of respect, he threw Rosso into a coffin with countless runes drawn on them. "I would request Miss Kuti to do this one last thing," Amir spoke, bowing to the woman and her entourage as the ship started to sail away from the scene.
It’s better to leave before Dragon catches on to what is going on. That is if he intends to save Rosso.
"This is not the end, be ready to escape in case the Legendary tries to take back this monster... be attentive." Amir didn’t know what the relationship between Rosso and Dragon was, but their being together did cause one to wonder. Why were they together?
Well, such answers can be learned later on, as, at the moment, the ship was slowly merging into the sea like a phantom, disappearing from the mortal eye as well as the likes of the domain.
Something that is hard to accomplish, but for an Exorcist of a high caliber like Kuti, it was possible. There were many reasons that Deimos used his connections to call her here. This mission can’t fail, this chaotic element carrying the Royal Family’s Blood can’t escape their grasp.
Either he dies, or he becomes a tool, there is no other option left for this monstrous beast.
"Lord Prince, none among the troops has sustained any heavy injuries or infections."
"Still, drink the purging potions, we can’t be certain when dealing with such ferocious enemies."
"As you command, my Lord. " With the ship disappearing into the fog and a couple of tired Exorcists being taken care of by the Knights under the deck, the job was still not done.
Until he reached the Armada of ships stationed around 250 hundred kilometers away from his position, Amir knew that danger lurked virtually everywhere.

Rosso was sealed in a coffin with countless spikes that dug deeper into his flesh, which was further bound by an enchanted rope on the outside so that Rosso could never break out, along with countless Talismans of sealing that almost suffocated Rosso.
At this moment, the feeling was worse than death.
’These spikes... are like those bullets.’ But even under such a sad state of existence, there was little to no change of expression on Rosso’s face. Even in defeat, he didn’t panic nor lose hope. A defeated mind is unable to find solutions to bad situations.
’These seals... they are preventing my connection to the mosquitoes I released early on.’ Rosso considered all the options he had at hand, but found, with the inability to move or even do anything, his options were none.
The most he can hope is for Dragon to come to his rescue.
"Is there anyone outside?" Rosso spoke in a simple voice, causing the surrounding spikes to suddenly dig deeper into his flesh.
"??"
Speech, was also a carrier of course, which is probably why the coffin made such an action. ’Not like I know how to do that stuff anyway.’
Fate really didn’t wish for Rosso to rescue his creator.

"You, your skills have improved since last time. Your hits, I feel something." Dragon enjoyed this fight.
Now this old man had a way to break apart the Aura creations he made, instead of panicking, Dragon became overjoyed as the battle continued.
While Dearma’s face turned paler by the minute.
’Monster...’ He had his suspicions before. But now, those suspicions had been confirmed. ’It’s not arrogance for nothing.’
This battle was far more fierce between the two of them, dragon feeling that his Aura was useless, directly used his physical body to compete. This might be the reason why after a certain point, the latent thunder in the clouds that Dragon previously weaponized was completely ignored by him.
’Pure physical force, no domain, no bloodline abilities, and no Aura... this man, he is still treating me like a toy." The face of the boy that is known as Wortham somewhat overlaps with the beast-like gait of this fellow named Dragon.
’His arms, they feel longer.’ It was at this time that Dearma noticed the odd mutations on Dragon’s body.
His horns were far longer than before, along with his arms and even body.
Dearma didn’t know if his eyes were playing tricks or if the stretched Dragon he saw was an illusion caused by the speed of the Dragon. ’Snake-like movements.’ At the 10th-minute mark when Dearma was reaching his limits, he could finally be sure of one thing.
’Third arm...’ The opponent was growing in a direction he didn’t understand, and that growth brought lethality with it.
’At least it’s not as instant as those aura arms.’
"Is that fear I see on your face? Don’t be fearful, don’t try to run away, let me enjoy you, as long as I am satisfied, I will let you leave here alive..." Dragon spoke with his elongated mouth, which was turning more and more closer to that of a snake.
"Hah, I know what the price for that will be.... So don’t need your mercy."

It’s been an hour since leaving the Vercano Island vicinity, and although Dearma never came back, Amir could take a sigh of relief considering that he had survived this ordeal.
As for the loss of Dearma? According to his Grandfather, Dearma’s life had no value. What did have value was the artifact he was handed and the materials that went into making his limbs.
’Hopefully, we remain lucky till then end. "I would like to thank Miss Kuti and Sir Iltu, without you, this whole mission would never have been such a success." Rosso bowed to the silent dunno, who nodded in response, though there was barely any other word on their lips anymore.
Though they did have a chance to express as from a distance, a boat appeared.
And it was not just one. Behind that boat, one after another, giant ships entered the horizon, all toward the direction of the Vercano islands. "Huh?"
"Why are they so close?" Wondered Amir, before asking the captain and even Hemant about what might be happening.
"Sir, contacting using radio is not possible with the magic swirling around us... we can’t confirm what they are doing so close." Spoke the captain, while Hemant told a similar story of ignorance.
"Then what is going on?"
Amir wondered further.
Then came a voice that Amir had started to forget about recently. "You still remain the same... as human as always."
