Chapter 537: 8.11.5 Time to find out.

But even if he wished to remain uninvolved, the same was not true for the being awakened in place of Heroth. "Another one, strong one." He spoke while Lady Lies still remained in his grasp, with the grip on the phantom arm tightening bit by bit, turning her face red.

The air was harder to breathe, but not like she needed to breathe in her realm to begin with. What caused her damage was the bones and muscles of her neck cracking under the tightening grip.

’Just... what is he?’ For the first time in her life, she regretted her actions. This man certainly had his demons, and now she had unleashed him to the world. And in a certain bizarre way, she was right to scrutinize this man. He was a monster without any rhyme or reason in his actions.

With absolute strength came absolute indifference, to him or ’It", anything that causes him any level of discomfort is to be stomped. Just like those gods.

A horrific realization appeared in Lady Lie’s head before her neck collapsed and the pressure from the exploding neck threw her head toward the ceiling from which it collided and then slowly rolled on the ground toward some remaining nobles who had kept their mouth shut in fear after seeing what had happened to those that dared to make a sound.

"Now, it’s peaceful, but this place is disgusting..." The suppression did cause him some discomfort, it to a bit of his strength to push out that ugly feeling, and if he wanted to, he could have annihilated this whole place as well. But he was too lazy to do it.

Besides, in this place, he smelled treasure, specifically the Karma Tarazu and some other things that were on the dead that floated up in the air and under the shocked eyes of survivors, devoured into the Man’s stomach.

A man who was slowly transforming bit by bit, growing horns and scales over his body.

And when the turn for the Karma Tarazu came, an armless figure came and tried to take the relic for himself. But to his surprise, an arm came and swiped at him at that very moment, causing him to back off, surprised over what he had just seen.

"Exceedingly rare, this is the second time I have seen something like this." The arm might appear a creation of bloodline or magic to the untrained eyes, but for a Legendary like Dearma, he easily gleamed into the essence of this arm.

A creation of Aura. A creation that was not just an intangible aura that could be used to boost your strength or can be used to act as the telekinesis skills of mages. As for creating a tangible arm out of nothing?

That is a feat that is only for beings that are known as Totems, or the absurdity that is Duke Wortham. "Ho, this is going to be fun." And seeing this feat of his opponent, Dearma understood that the opponent was much stronger than he could ever imagine. Which made him smile. ’Excuse to destroy this place, finally.’

Of course, this is not a battle to kill. Some civility was needed when dealing with those of equal level.

And Dearma did try to speak a few words like. "Dearma of the Thunderclouds." It’s been long since he spoke his name. Though the figure who replaced Heroth was in no mood for introductions. He just saw that Dearma tried to steal ’his’ possessions so he had already been marked for death. "Why do people keep trying to annoy me all the time?" There was no introduction on his end, the figure transformed further as he took a step causing the whole court to tremble, with a booming sound whose shockwave alone killed the remaining nobles in the court, an arm pierced Dearma’s body, who turned into lightening and backed off, matching the pace of his opponent without an issue.

"Ho, physical fights," Dearma shouted, enjoying the battle that instantly obliterated what remained of the Court, rushing to the sky as their battle started to heat up. Leaving a cultural and historical landmark in tatters.

Of course, there was also Wortham, who hid on the side, silently stealing parts of Lady Lies’s body or what remained of it and silently leaving the area.

In his eyes, those two are equal at the moment. Though what will happen in future he can’t say. However, if there is something he can see it is that the man at the center of this conflict, the Legendary acted a bit bizarre.

The term Moronic came to his head before he shook his head. The man was not in his right state of mind, as if a greater part of him was still sleeping.

So one should wonder what might happen if that part of him recovers.

Well, whatever happens, he has no jurisdiction in this city. He has been banned from making any strong moves, unless, of course, his family requests them.

Though why should they ask him for help when they had a dog on a leash like Dearma and three protectors who made sure that nothing bad happened to the center of Rudrain?

The King chooses to be defenseless by sending away all three of his protectors, then gives Wortham the right to act in Rudrain again.

"You must be laughing." A voice spoke in Wortham’s head. A voice was scuffed not too long ago by the man who replaced Heroth. "I haven’t laughed in a century at this point. I don’t think watching you get decapitated would be enough to change that."

This was none other than Lady Lies who lost her life once again. And through her lies, she had been able to retain part of her life. Of course, there were some restrictions and if that monster of a man was aware of her survival, it would have been much harder for her to come back from a death so extreme.

It’s good that the opponent was not in the right state of mind. "Then it’s not too late I guess, the Church Survives, that is enough." She said with a sigh.

She understood this old friend of hers perfectly. He was a liar like her and his hatred for all the churches was common knowledge among the leadership.

And in case any churches do get destroyed, it would probably make this child-like man happy. And if he was not happy parts of the church remained.

Which for her was enough.

Although he couldn’t create arms from aura like his opponent, Dearma was not weak. And if not for his enslavement by that accursed family, he might have been much stronger at this point. Though he still wouldn’t claim to be on the level of Wortham, he knew that if he had enough practice, dealing with this mentally unstable man would have been easy.

He could see it clearly, this man was much stronger than him, each of his blows carrying strength to annihilate his unguarded body.

But that is if his body can be touched.

The blood of Thundercloud, a spiritual beast that lived among the clouds was said to devour lightning as sustenance.

With booming sounds, the attacks of this child-like man pierced through Dearma’s electrical body, doing only a negligible amount of damage to him. "What a wonderful monster... is it too much to tell me your name?" He asked again during the fight, and it would seem that his opponent with come proper clarity spoke. "We are enemies, but I see, yes, my name." When he reached those words, the man suddenly pushed, which would have given Dearma an edge if he exploited this opportunity. But he didn’t.

He had a certain level of respect for beings like him. And so he gave the opponent a chance to speak of his name.

"My name, it’s been so long, I... I think I was called Dragon." At those words, the skies that were covered in Dearma’s lightning suddenly crackled with a stronger boom, followed by all the lightning collecting around Dearma and turning into what appeared like spears.

"What a monster." Surrounded by his own lightning, he spoke, finding this situation absurd. Of course, there was no more time for him to make a retort of any kind, as he could feel some threat from these lightning spears.

’What a wonderful opponent.’ His physical body can’t compare to this level of attack, the most he could do was use his domain to teleport away.

Not far from him, a fleshy hand broke out of the ground followed by another that then dragged its skinless body out of the ground. "This feeling is riveting." Rosso felt disgusted, but this was no time to wallow in his disgust. His target was right in front of him. However, the thing that had been hidden inside Heroth had awakened again and caused some destruction.

"Let’s see if you know the answer or not."
