Chapter 335: 5.17.3 The Visitor.
"The World is kind to you, to your kid. But it doesn’t mean you should keep them blind to the truth. And I am saying this to all of you."
"Reign in your kids, let them see the true world and stop their protesting... I haven’t been able to get a single penny for the last few days due to those things." I started cursing the kids and their protest. How I cannot move from here and how the kids were becoming a nuisance due to their protest.
There was mockery mixed with hate toward the young generation.
Though, for the insightful, one can see the envy that I carried. They could see what I meant from these words. And the man with whom i originally started to fight also seem to know what I meant here.
Hiding won’t do, let the kids see the truth of this world, let them know the right and wrongs. Let them experience what their parents and grandparent suffered through.
But most of all, let them know who they lost.
And although following my rant, I was thrown out of the school road by the guards. My job was done. I can see some parents contemplating, while others shouting at the school over their lax security, where they allow a vulgar beggar like me to sit in front of their walls.
What happens later was of no concern of me. I just did what was needed in this current situation. Which was to straighten the path of Henry, so that he doesn’t go crook.
And if my words did work properly, then I believe his father would soon speak of the truth, of why he turned into a corpse collector during war. Who he was looking for, and who he lost.
But considering we have come this far, there is no reason to keep it a secret anymore.
"Who would have thought, she would have maintained so much of her ego, even after turning into a vessel for Blue Rose."
The bloodline was not the reason, or it was when looked from a different angle.
The vessel of Blue Rose was the long-lost aunt of his, who used to work in smuggling industry during the war. So she was out of border most of the time during war and probably met her demise there.
Or so many would have thought. But the truth was something else. As one of the partners of this smuggling activity should be Henry’s aunt. The cult found her talented and recruited her, resulting in the scene of today.
It would seem, she hadn’t forgotten her past and still cares deeply about her blood.
And if she cares for them, then I do too.

"How long till this heart works properly again, Vegal?"
"A week at most, your bloodline is tenacious. Healing your heart won’t be much of a trouble." Vegal said in a dead tone, with envy leaking out of his eyes.
I can understand his perspective easily. It’s a body he considered his own, he dreamed of tasteful food and alcohol just like he used to eat before. The mortal desires he abandoned to achieve his current state were the very reason he now lived for.
"Glad for your help, doctor, I am lucky to be in the hands of such a great technician."
"Yes... sir. I will be going away for now."
"Vegal, I know you probably hate me for what I took from you. But don’t worry, it won’t be long before multiple dwarf bodies are in our hand. You would have a large selection of vests in future if you just work as you have done till now." My words to the dwarf were filled with kindness. I don’t like to make those under me sad.
It’s better if they enjoy their work, because that is when they produce the best result. And Vegal needed hope. Hope of a better future where he can enjoy good food.
So, giving me a small nod, he left the scene.
Leaving me all alone, or so I had thought. "Just come in, child, no need to be shy about it." At my urging, a figure walked out of the door. A face that I hadn’t seen in a while. "Selene, you are back from the tower?"
The tower in my words was none other than the one owned by Levana Yethel, called Layden’s Tower of Storms. Whose main focus was on unraveling a way to modify our environment by any means possible.
Making it one of the rare Tower, who didn’t divide their mages depending on the path they followed. Here, mages from Transmutation, Arcana and Conjuration worked together to perfect their path of environment modification.
With a little bit of Illusion and Occult mages in the mix, who played little role considering the goal of this organization.
Selene, just happened to be one of the rare mages. She practices occult spells and had dabbled with curses under my urging.
The very Selene that acted as Remira’s partner in Durum as Number Two, as well as Ikaros’s daughter.
"Yes, uncle, I heard what happened." She said, sitting next to my bed, appearing sad.
"I am to blame for Lecarth’s death. I should have expected some reinforcements on Remira’s side and planned appropriately." It really was my fault.
Rather than ambushing them at the exit, it would have been better to play that game in the center of the city, where the mages won’t dare to try something drastic. And there should be enough firepower to put Remira at bay.
That one mistake cost Lecarth his life. And for Selene, the death of a good friend.
"Did Remira really killed him?"
"Yes, a single shot from her revolver, she didn’t show any remorse." I narrated what happened, Making Selene turn silent for a while. "She did seem resolute before, but it seems, she grew."
"She did. Not as stupid as she used to be in Durum." Selene had been involved with Remira for a while. One can even say that Selene was the one to save Remira as number two when Remira had escaped from the government appointed exorcist in Durum city. "But this makes her more stupid... can’t we kill her now?"
"Not at all, her identity is way higher than one can imagine. Killing her is tantamount to turning the whole Radiant Hall our enemy."
"But aren’t they already our enemy? You said it yourself."
"You lived among them, so you should be aware that not all of them are irredeemable." Guess, Lecarth’s death has ruined all the progress she made while living among the Radiant Knights. Reigniting her hatred for them, which was a result of my teaching.
Not in the slightest unexpected considering the two were like uncle and niece in some sense. With Lecarth being the older, experienced one that helped Selene when she had any questions regarding the Occult.
"It doesn’t matter if they are good or bad. They are against us, this is reason enough for us to eliminate them when time comes."
"And the time has not arrived as of yet. You should be aware of the hold they have over Brihma Continent. They are the biggest force here, if all their branches were to be combined. Not to mention the state of the overseas, where they originate from. Fighting them is tantamount to fighting four Cynark Kingdom at once."
Population wise, of course, Radiant Hall can’t compare to the giant like Cynark, who boasts a military might of millions.
But when it comes to specialists, Radiant Hall is the biggest force in existence. Even bigger than multiple churches combined.
"You are not telling me the old excuse of hiding like a rat, multiplying and waiting for our time."
"No, you are too old to fall for it." Population can’t do a thing in this world, the experts of a side determined who wins in a battle. And we were way behind in that department. "But there are something’s we can do."
"What is it?"
"Did you hear the rumors about Remira on the streets?" At my mention of the rumors, the face of Selene crumpled a little. Confused, she asked. "What could those things do? They are just hearsay that barely anyone would believe."
"The elites might not, but the commoners do believe it. Stories like these are their entertainment. And among the most famous form of entertainment, there is nothing more fun than watching someone at the peak dragged through mud by the weaker party."
"And we are the underdogs in this case."
"So stay for a bit Selene, the tower is not running away. You can always get and study some stupid spells in the future. But this is your moment to experience how gullible the public is. How easy it is to lead them with falsehoods. And how you can turn than falsehood into truth, through their mouth."
"This is important for a great ruler, a mandatory lesson that I should have taught you earlier."

Usually, the only way to bind a Knight is to use curses to weaken their bodies, or making them drink blood coagulant, which artificially thickens their blood, making it harder to move in their body.
And considering the Remira’s Physique, there was only one method that can be used to detain her.
"Captain, can you hear me?" A familiar voice reached Remira’s ears, who could barely even breath at this point. A voice that she had been looking for a while now. "Farhad?" A whisper escaped her lips.
"Yes, Captain, it’s Farhad."
