Chapter 149: 3.05.5 Wake up old bear.
Flame teleportation, a high-level spell that her father used often during his combat encounters. It was the reason he was able to survive for so long. But Being an adept level Mage Fahna was not capable of such a feat. But it doesn’t mean she can’t decompose the spell into a different past and manually cast them to achieve a similar result.
The fire armor slowly upgraded to a flame body. And if it was a not normal fire, she would have lit up a star in the dark of night and would be easily noticeable even if the streets close by were illuminated by the street light. For her fire was a unique one, a fire without any residue or illumination.
Invisible to the eyes of common people. Based on the burning of hydrogen gas which produces invisible flames, she used it as a base for her spell and turned it into an elemental flame body and drone into the hole she made before.
Stealth-based flame magic that took her years to perfect and only created for the sole purpose of assassinations. She was called a genius during childhood for a reason. To this little girl, reaching the level of a Master’s or even Archmage level is inevitable. And she would be a big threat in the future if left alone.
But at the moment, our goals are somewhat matched. She would inevitably fight with the bastards in the company bringing much-needed chaos into this city where people seemed a bit too happy with the state of things.
No one wants to move out of their comfort zone. They are so used to the dullness that they don’t know of the joy in some chaos. To them, those who looked for joy were those trash from the Gutters, people with no clan and no background. And no one in this city even wanted to speak about Gutters.
So why would they act like them?
Or so they had thought, but I know the frustrations that were bubbling in this city, suppressed under the power of two legendaries and the arch-level figures who sat in this city. Causing the thought of revolt to never ever appear in their mind.
But everyone has a limit, just like I had mine.

The moment Fahna entered the room, nothing felt out of place at first. The giant bear snored in his sleep while there were some tubes connected to his veins, providing him vital nutrients along with a dash of sleeping drugs at regular intervals.
Now all she needed to do was wake this old man and explain to him the details of what had happened, then the rest would depend on the strength of the officers that were standing guard outside. Though, all of her plans took an unexpected turn as she noticed the oddity in this room.
’I triggered it.’ Surveillance runes inscribed into the walls shimmered with low hymns, almost inaudible by normal human ears.
But to others connected to this spell, they were warned of an intruder and should be making their way here.
"One annoyance after another." Taking out the Syringe from her pocket, she stabbed it at the jugular of Salveraz. Then, using the metallic table that was kept next to Salveraz, she swiped away the fruits and some flowers that were on it, before dragging the table to the gate.
Time was of the essence, she couldn’t make a mistake after coming so close. For now, she needed the time for her adrenaline shot to work. And to earn it, she can only use a giant scale of magic. But as she was limited by her realm, she could only break the greater spells down and manually do them. So with flaming hands, she touched the Metal chair and heated it enough until it was malleable enough. Before covering this melted metal on the door, sealing it up.
Then came the sound of thunk and a bit of shouting.
"The bastard noticed. Assassins are back."
Someone shouted from the other side, while a few even shot at the gate. However, due to the room being used for VIPs, the doors made here were all metallic and provided a decent amount of safety to victims.
While the added "Lock" created by Fahna just sealed this deal even more. Making it harder for the men here to enter the room.
"Hmm?... What is going on?" A gruff sound came right next to Fahna, causing her to turn her head and then smile from head to toe. "Detective, you are awake?" She asked with a fake enthusiasm, which turned into worry. "We have to move from here fast, they intend to keep you here."
"Who?... Where am I?" Looking around the room for a bit, he knew that he was in some sort of a hospital. But wasn’t he meant to come here for a normal checkup? Most of the bullets caught under his skin had long been pushed out, even before he climbed the truck that came to take him.
So why was he here? And from the looks of it, appearing as a patient of this hospital?’
"The police chief... I believe he is working with those behind your attack." Though a wrong conclusion to come to, as the assassins were obviously working against the kidnappers who had the backing of some high authority in the Pulgasiri’s government.
The current Salveraz was too drowsy to think clearly, he was easily gaslighted by Fahna who seemed to be the one who came here to help him.
And from the worry on her face and the sound on the other side of the wall, he understood that she might be onto something. "But... but why? What would they gain from harming me?" He thought. "I know the police chief... I know he is corrupt Fahna. But I don’t see why he would bother doing anything... he knows full well..." At these words, eyes of Fahna turned skittish, it was as if she was holding something in her stomach, something she wished to tell this man. But Salveraz paused after a shock that caused trembling in the whole room.
Which meant that the Knights had arrived and would be breaking into this room any minute."We will talk later... for now, let’s see for a way out." There was only one exit which had been sealed by Fahna. While the walls of this hospital were too thick and durable for her to create a hole the size of someone like Salveraz.
"Not much of an issue," Salveraz replied over Fahna’s excuse and then slammed his fist on the wall opposite his bed, breaking it up.
It was a strike that shook the whole building, and some even thought a terrorist attack happened in the hospital.
But none of that was of concern to Fahna, she took the lead. "Follow me, I know a good place to hide... it will also be better if I inform you of the news there."
"What kind of news?"
"Truth be told... not a good one. But it will be better to learn that in private." Fahna acted mysterious while holding the bomb on the cusp of her tongue. Once spoken, there was a high chance that the tales her father had told her would be created in the middle of the city once again.
But she held back. It was not because of the bloodbath that would be soon to follow, but the retaliation this city would have against Salveraz.
She gives thirty minutes before the big guns and Arch-level figures come out to hunt the Bastard Bear down.
Which is not something she wished to see.
"Move as fast as you can, I have caught your whiff, I can follow you," Salveraz said while jumping from the 14th floor directly on the ground, creating a fissure on the ground, while multiple officers were rushing towards him with weapons aimed at his head.
Which confused Fahna for a while, but considering what he said. She followed his words and slowly climbed down from the building, while Salveraz became the one to attract all the attention.
"Friends, I wonder why aim your weapon at me?" His words caused many of the officers to be confused at first before a loud voice came from the back. "Salveraz, why are you out? Didn’t you learn that the Police chief has ordered you to take a break and sleep out... that bloodline of yours?"
"Gaitoynde, didn’t take you for the caring type." Salveraz took a deep look at the man who exuded the same realm as he did, but there was no fear on either of their faces. Instead, there was disappointment, a jovial pity that there was only Gaitoynde here.
"I never did get any order of the likes, and I would like to ask why was this order given?" His giant bear-like body that towered above all the dwarfs looked deeply at the young recruits. "I have the order in my hand, but as you were already sleeping by the time it was given, I didn’t come in to disturb you. You can check it."
