Chapter 124: 2.32.2 Birth.
"Nooo!" Cried Vance, as his body drifted back.
"Captain!" The voices of the soldiers came, all of their eyes attracted toward the flesh bud that was slowly growing in size as the fire slowly started to burn all the flesh on its body.
"He... succeeded?" Vanessa was surprised and wondered what just happened. To her understanding, none could have done this besides her at this point in time.
For Adam had disappeared and probably crushed under the rubble and the flames had been lost as well.
But who, how can it happen?
Though, more than surprising, there was a smile etched on her face. The time has finally come, the time for the revival of a god and then her chance at a better life, where she won’t repeat her mistakes.
A future where she could abandon her past and live freely.
Though, not all thought like her. The beast that Remira had turned into was not affected by the Aura of a god. If Remira had been in control, it was the most appropriate time for her to end Vanessa and Holforaz which had stopped her in her tracks till now.
But that was only possible if she was stable enough, and in control of her body. But all she saw was red. Out of her instinct, she never touched the Knights who fought by her side. But it was for the same instinct, that she always confused on the biggest threat that was around her.
And currently, from the looks of it, the biggest one is the god that was in the process of reviving.
So Remira ran, her giant body filled with countless limbs wriggled like a centipede, before reaching what one would call Hiranyagarbha, also called the golden egg or the egg of the god.
Few in the world had ever seen it and few among them had retained their sanity soon after.
But that was only possible if one was sane, to begin with, which Remira was far from. Her anger and madness created a protective shield that barred any outside influence from reaching her mind. Letting her retain autonomy, whereas others who were in the eggs’ presence fell to the ground.
"Futile attempt by her, I expected more." A young woman said, looking at the scene from afar, while barely standing straight. "Mistress, we should leave. This is not safe anymore."
"Of course!"
What happened next, the woman was not interested in seeing any part of it. She had done what she came here to do and got what she wanted. Staying this long was only for the sole purpose of seeing an end to all this farce played by her family friend who called her here.
Then the duo disappeared. Not wish to see any of it that happens now.
Though their other reason was the fear of corruption, being awake at this moment was tantamount to opening one’s mind to an ’outside’ influence. So leaving was the best choice for them.
As those who remain on the battlefield. Rarely would they be able to recover from it, unless they look for the gods to help themselves. With the exception of only a single group of people and that were the Radiant Knights.
Whose god was very much alive and looking at the disaster.
"Please save her." The little wolf begged the hollow chest corpse that seemed to be enjoying the scenery. Before he turned to the wolf that had and said with an obvious smile. "Her time hasn’t come yet... fate has much in store for her."
"Are you to say, you will stop her rebirth?"
"Of course not. It’s not my right to interfere in that part. And if not for your little trick, I wouldn’t have woken up so early."
"..."
"It’s still not time?"
"Your master was meant to wake up earlier than me. But did you feel her presence?" When the old corpse asked such a question, the little wolf went silent.
The master the First Knight called was none other than a true god. It was neither a Prime Daemon of Nightmare like Lakyus nor a lower Daemon of Incarnation like the little Blue Rose who was ignorantly considered a god by the mortals.
No, they were beings that have just obtained the right but haven’t reached that level yet.
While the Wolf’s master was a true god. One that the First Knight was very familiar with. "So it’s not the time yet?" The wolf asked in a tired voice, which made the old Knight put his hand over her head and then rub her ear. "No, and I will go to sleep soon as well. Though before that, I would make sure that nothing happens to your last scion."
The First Knight said with a smile, before taking his hand up and showing a collection of dark matter in his hand. He hid instantly before the wolf could notice.
"The next time you meet her. Warn her to never use that power unless she can control them both at will. It’s dangerous."
*****
How long has it been?
She doesn’t remember the time at all. The last she could recall was the moment of her anchor’s destruction, which destroyed her connection to the physical world.
Then, one after another, bad things kept happening.
Her attempts at creating a new anchor kept failing, someone would always come and stop her, each time with a different body and a new face.
Holding powers and expression is almost artificial each time. But these people always destroyed her attempts. But it would seem that whatever or whoever was after her would not stop in their relentless pursuit.
So they entered the world she had been lost for centuries. No! It was not multiple people.
It was only a single man.
A man who seemed more womanly than any woman she had seen before, each of his movements carried darkness with itself. A darkness through which all kinds of abominations had crawled out to overwhelm her. While he said, "I am sorry."
Being of pure nightmare crawled toward her, who had looked for the darkness most of her life. Which was ironic to her. But it also gave away the identity of the man who was hunting her.
A man with hollow eyes which contained infinite darkness within them.
"Lakyus... why?"
These were her last words. She, a mere Daemon, was nothing in front of a Prime. Her demise was made certain the moment Lakyus got after her.
"You got too close to it. I had no choice." Lakyus sounded apologetic to her, but that was all she could ascertain before her body was ripped to pieces and spread through the realm of dreams.
Never to ever reconstruct again. Never to see the light of the day.
Or so she had thought.
"I am back in the material world." The small bub under the nourishment of Maxim’s body and the fire of Samadhi as the spark grew bigger, while the flames whose sole purpose was of burning the vestiges of gods, had done what it was meant to do.
While also burning up the accumulation of karma and sin, which was the throbbing organic flesh on the flesh bud.
Leaving a giant lotus bud in the process, white as a swan and giving off pure holiness and warmth to all.
Flames almost mimicked the fire on Remira’s body, as countless of her heads roared toward the Lotus and then jumped at it intending to destroy the flower.
An attempt thwarted by a simple. "Stop." A sound that only Remira heard, causing her to writhe with pain, making multiple of her limbs collapse with the sound alone.
"A child of that man. I commend you for surviving my voice." Following the voice that echoed in Remira’s ears, the lotus flower slowly opened up, exposing a petite woman sitting in it.
A woman with four arms and blue eyes. But that was the only moment she was visible.
The moment she appeared on the surface of the Lotus, she disappeared from the scene at once. Only leaving a few words, which were. "Knight, you owe me this one."

"Hmm... Someone succeeded?" A man with goat horns smiled while looking toward the direction of Durum city. "And they used part of me for their revival... Little clown, what are you planning?"
Of course, the man was happy and not sad over this offense.
He had promised to help Jester in return for something, he never expected that his help had ended up turning advantageous for him.
"Let’s go and see, which one it is... hmm, the murder and incarnation fell in that direction. I assume it’s Incarnation."
With those words, the man picked up the book that he had been reading in the library, before going to a check out.
"Please, how much for this."
*****
"Let me go, Anna."
"No, as your friend, I need to put you back on the right path. At least explain why you did it."
"You have always been nosy... so nosy that I always hated you for it," Kassandra said, trying to break free of the army of summoned beasts that surrounded her.
"Yeah, hate me as much as you want. But I want an explanation. Why did you do it?"
"If you wish to know if my hands were bound, then no. I even came to this boring city for that purpose alone. But you had to come and ruin my chance to kill him."
"Kill who? A child?"
"Haha! A child? Were you fooled by that act?"
"That thing is not a child, don’t be fooled by its looks or face or even words."
"He is a monster. A monster who I should have ended long ago."
"So remember, never believe a word that child says."
