Chapter 547: Clean, Again!

Being back inside his "special" bathroom in Nanshan Estate was even better than he thought it would be. Xu Feng had to scrub himself clean with saponins and rinse away any evidence of his baptism, but after that, there was nothing keeping him from soaking in the wooden tub.

It wasn’t like he hadn’t had a chance to clean up over the last week, but something about being home, in your own bathroom, was different.

Even with the audience, it didn’t matter.

Normally, Xu Feng would insist on bathing by himself. Although he was the mistress, or master of Nanshan Estate—depending on who you were talking to—he felt uncomfortable with that level of service.

He’d been dreaming of a modern soak in an ordinary bathhouse or even a spa, only a year ago, but now, Xu Feng was relieved to be soaking in his own makeshift bathtub.

Xu Si and Xu San clearly both wanted to spend more time with their young masters. But they were too proud to even let Lee Hua near Xu Feng. And Xu Feng was too relieved to be back to stop anyone from assisting him in the tub.

In the end, it was Xu San who was now helping him wash his long silver hair. It had never been a task he was good at, and it wasn’t something he wanted to bother with now.

No more tears were being shed in the bathroom. Red eyes could be seen everywhere he looked, but at least no one was crying anymore. The atmosphere was even harmonious!

*Splash

"Hahaha—" Xu San’s abrupt laughter seemed to startle her more than anyone else. Xu Feng looked up at her face, which was growing redder and redder.

Deciding to allow the serious lady a little bit of dignity, he turned his head back to the source of the splash. Xiao Long had the biggest gummy smile plastered on his face. He was beyond pleased with his handy work.

The laughter from Xu San had been abrupt, but the grin on Xu Si’s face and the twitching of Lee Hua’s lips couldn’t be ignored. The two were on either side of the smaller wooden basin his two sons were bathing—well, now soaking—in.

Both boys were capable of sitting up on their own—a new talent Xiao Long seemed to have picked up in about two seconds.

The two had been scrubbed down before soaking in warm, fresh water. Lee Hua took the lead in this, and both Xu Si and Xu San—from afar—and also secretly, Xu Feng, took pointers as he skillfully washed Xiao Long without getting too much water in his face.

It was a skill, they were all looking to get better at.

Xu Feng was worried about how he would take care of his sons, and the two girls were worried about how they would take care of their newly hatched young masters. Each persons’ thoughts echoing the support they had for the two new babies.

Childcare isn’t easy. At least the babies were cute.

The ambiance was right, and Xiao Long sprang into action, using his small baby fists to splash at the water. Xu Feng couldn’t be 100 percent sure the little cub was innocent, but from what he’d seen from Xiao Long’s character so far, this was not an accident.

Da Long, the victim of his brother’s play, with a face doused in water simply stared at Xiao Long with some unknown emotion in his eyes.

"Pfft!" Xu Feng finally laughed out loud this time. "Hahaha!" Maybe he shouldn’t encourage the little trickster, but Da Long’s face was too cute!

"Who exactly does our Da Long take after?" It was a serious question. The little cub was so serious even in this situation.

"It should be Master Jian." Xu San answered almost at the same time as Xu Si did.

"It should be our Master Yang!!" The younger girl said cheerfully before she looked at Xu San like she was clueless. "How could the young master not take after Master Xuan Yang? They are both serious and even the young master’s face looks scholarly at a young age!"

Something seemed to come over Xu San, like the shocks of the morning were entirely too great and her own serious character had shattered.

"No Si. Young master should take after Master Jian, he is just as frosty in nature. The only reason we know Master Jian is not always frosty is due to his change in temperament when Master Feng is present."

It only took a few heartbeats, but Xu Feng was back to being called master once again. That was okay though. Whatever made the two girls feel most comfortable. He was here, and no one was crying anymore.

Now, back to the argument...

Both points seemed valid to Xu Feng. He really didn’t know who Da Long took after more. The biggest problem though was who Xiao Long took after... the cub was a bit—a lot bit—playful...

Both Jian and Yang were playful but in their own ways.

Xu Feng couldn’t help but nod his head to the two valid points Xu Si and Xu San had, but when his eyes focused on Lee Hua, his laughter couldn’t be stifled anymore.

The other ger in the bathroom’s face was vivid. He was going through so many emotions, Xu Feng could clearly read his thoughts.

’He truly doesn’t know who the father of the children are?’

’Is this something to talk about openly?’

’Why are Xu Si and Xu San so liberally speaking, don’t they know better?’

’Is this something to laugh about?’

Xu San and Xu Si knew more about Xu Feng, his sense of humor, and many of his quirks. To Lee Hua, he likely still felt like he needed to follow the status quo. This would probably change in the future... the near future if Xu Feng had his way.

"We should get out of the bath now." Xu Feng broke the two young ladies’ debate, and Lee Hua’s culture shock as he rose from the tub. His silver hair was wrung half dry behind his back, and his inner clothing clung to him. "We don’t need the little ones turning into small grandpas."
