The Ger's Contract Marriage [BL]
Chapter 489: Endless Love

Chapter 489: Endless Love

"I missed you Feng Feng."

The call from the man, the stranger who was not a stranger, pulled on Xu Feng’s heartstrings. The endearment, "Feng Feng," didn’t escape him either.

There was a whirlwind of emotions stirring within Xu Feng— confusion, longing, and something deeper that he couldn’t quite put into words. Whether he understood the entirety of their shared story or not, he knew one thing for certain: he felt for this man something more deep than simple awe or lust.

Though there was that as well. He was barely fighting to control the throbbing he felt in his belly and the heat between his legs. In the presence of this man, he felt he should feel full... between his legs, not just in his heart...

As the man said his name, Xu Feng felt his heart tighten, the pet name coaxing him to lose himself in the warmth of their connection. The look in the man’s eyes ignited a primal urge within Xu Feng, a desire to offer himself completely to quench the other’s hunger.

It felt both unnatural and yet undeniably natural as if they were two pieces of a puzzle meant to be joined together. Despite the man’s fractured soul and his own splintered memories, Xu Feng was determined to make them whole in this lifetime, to rewrite their story and carve out a path to happiness.

It was an unending cycle, one they couldn’t break through in the past, but the present wasn’t too late. This thought felt like Xu Feng’s tether. He would make sure in this life, they would do better, and the outcome wouldn’t be as bad.

He wanted to win this time—not win some fight, but win happiness for them, even if it meant living a normal life together, nothing fancy, they just all needed to be together and have their health, nothing else mattered. Xu Feng couldn’t control himself.

With trembling fingers, Xu Feng reached out to trail them over his lover’s face, a silent vow to cherish and protect him. Yang was his, theirs, his... theirs.

It was nothing new. He’d sworn to love this man many times over. This was not the first, nor would it be the last time.

Yang shuddered under the touch, a simple caress threatening to unravel him completely. After a moment of shock, Yang leaned down to press a tender kiss to Xu Feng’s lips, a gesture filled with love and longing. But before things could escalate further, Yang pulled away, leaving Xu Feng pouting and furrowing his brows in complete annoyance.

"Hahahah!"

The sight and sound of Yang’s cheerful laughter, however, melted Xu Feng’s irritation away, replaced by a warm flutter in his chest. It was a sound he had missed dearly, a sound that echoed with faint memories of happier times.

As Yang continued to laugh, Xu Feng couldn’t help but feel a rush of affection and gratitude towards this man who had been by his side, even in the darkest of times. Sometimes, their paths would only cross for a moment, but even then, Yang was always someone who was memorable from all the small actions and reactions.

Yang was the perfect compliment to Jian, one moving in the dark, the other in the light. But he was also a good compliment to Yang, both moving gracefully in a slower dance. And he, Xu Feng was always destined for Jian... like light and dark, the moon and the sun...

"I missed you so much, Feng Feng." Yang’s words echoed in Xu Feng’s ears, filling him with a sense of belonging and reassurance. Xu Feng knew that they could overcome anything and anyone. Even the immortals would regret tampering with them.

Xu Feng could feel his face reddening as the man’s laughter grew more cheerful. The name again, the pet name made him want to throw his restraint away. What good was restraint? Why did he need control? He could do as he pleased! This dragon desired his snake.

His snake and his snake’s small snakes. He needed the bad little pepper between his legs, it had been so long...

Alas, his desire was blocked by the snake.

"Seeing you has given me some strength." The words caused Xu Feng to physically freeze his attacking form.

"I don’t want to leave Jian or our children for even a moment, but Lady Xuan is becoming more and more relentless." Yang seemed very conflicted, and at that moment, he seemed weak even.

Xu Feng listened intently as Yang poured out his worries and frustrations. The weight of responsibility and the pressure from Lady Xuan seemed to be taking a toll on him, leaving him feeling hollow and helpless.

It was a side of Yang that Xu Feng rarely saw, and it unsettled him to witness his usually confident and composed lover in such a state.

Suppressing his own instincts to... eat a spicy dish, Xu Feng instead chose to focus on soothing Yang’s troubled heart. He knew that his priority was to provide comfort and support, even if he didn’t fully understand the intricacies of the situation.

It was unacceptable for his snake to be like this, defeated by the world. "Haaaah." Xu Feng let out an angry breath. He wouldn’t let this go on.

He could control his desire for a moment in order to soothe his Yang’s heart. "What of this Lady Xuan? What does she want that is making our Yang confused?"

"I should be protecting our children and our Jian, but I can’t even control that family. They’ve been relentless even before you... you..." He couldn’t finish the sentence, but Xu Feng glossed over it, wanting the other to finish letting out the concerns of his heart.

He egged Yang on instead. "What exactly does she want?"

Yang’s gaze was filled with shame as he admitted, "She wants children, but... She refuses to break the contract unless I return to the capital."

’Didn’t he just say there were children?’ Xu Feng thought a bit confused, but not for long as the other continued on.

"It’s obvious she wants me to remarry someone that was easier to control. She wants children, but more importantly, she wants control. "

"She now realizes our marriage was a mistake, I want to end the contract. She has no children, a ’daughter-in-law’ that is uncontrollable, and a son who has become unruly." The smile on Yang’s face was more confident now. He was happy to make this Lady Xuan miserable.

Xu Feng pondered Yang’s words for a moment before offering his own suggestion. "Why don’t you return? Leave Jian and the children behind where it is safe, and break the contract. Then, no matter how long it takes, you can return to them. This way, our family will be protected, and the marriage will be incontestable."

As he spoke, Xu Feng couldn’t help but feel a sense of detachment from the details of Yang’s life— Jian, the children, the contract. But his instinct to protect his family and support Yang in any way he could was unwavering.

Xu Feng responded, but he himself didn’t know why he’d responded in such a way. Who was Jian? He didn’t know. The children that this Lady Xuan wanted, but didn’t seem to know existed, he also didn’t know. The contract, you guessed it, he also didn’t know about.

It made no sense, but still, he knew they needed to be safe— his family needed to be safe— and the contract must be broken, destroyed, and untraceable.

Yang furrowed his brows as he considered Xu Feng’s proposal. Despite the pain and anger lingering in his eyes, there was a newfound determination and resolve. It seemed that Xu Feng’s words had given him a sense of clarity and purpose.

The deflated look on his face was gone. This was much better.

"Thank you, Feng Feng," Yang said, his voice filled with gratitude, but the words were still said through gritted teeth. "You have given me some strength. I know what I have to do."

"Good." They were done with words now, whether Yang liked it or not.

Xu Feng’s smile widened, his dimples deepening as he propped himself up on the bed, the playful glint in his eyes catching the attention of the raven-haired man before him.

Xu Feng’s playful demeanor shifted as he seized the opportunity to strike.

With lightning speed, he surged forward, his movements fluid and precise, like a predator closing in on its prey. In a swift motion, he closed the distance between them, capturing the man’s lips in a tender yet fervent kiss.

At first, the contact was gentle, the brush of lips against lips sending shivers down their spines. But as the seconds passed, the kiss grew more fiery, fueled by an undeniable hunger that consumed them both.

Their tongues met in a dance of passion, each movement a show of the ignored desire that had been forgotten for too long. Time seemed to stand still as they lost themselves in the intensity of their touch.
