The Ger's Contract Marriage [BL]
Chapter 446: An Inn For Two

Chapter 446: An Inn For Two

Xu Hu Zhe’s Perspective:

There was a sense of quiet intimacy as a tall, blue- black haired man sat atop a nondescript carriage, his noble features carved with pride and youth.

The raven- colored locks framed his face, where scattered scales marked his immortal blood lineage for all the world to see— a source of discomfort rather than pride for him.

The scales were proof of his immortal bloodline, a sign of honor and nobility, a link to the worshipped ancestors he never knew, and a lifestyle he never dreamed of. It was something he never longed for and didn’t regard highly, or at least not in the way most would.

Respect was for Xu Feng, not his ancestors.

He was only able to awaken this part of himself because of the one he’d sworn to protect for a lifetime, yet that one had died before him.

He carried himself with strength and aloofness, a cover masking the guilt gnawing at his soul for failing his late benefactor, Xu Feng. Yet, despite the weight of his obligations, his heart remained tethered to the young ger leaning against him.

Xu Hu Zhe was only wearing an undershirt, but the cool fall air didn’t affect him in the slightest. It likely didn’t affect the ger either, but he liked seeing Xu Zeng draped his things.

It made something inside of Xu Hu Zhe proud. He couldn’t claim the superior being as his own, but sharing his things with it made his beast giddy. When the superior demon beast wore his mask or his clothes, it made him feel closer to the ger.

Beside him rested Xu Zeng, the tall and lean ger—he was even taller than Xu Feng had been— with cascading waves of silver hair that tickled his shoulder as the carriage swayed, eliciting a gentle smile from the giant of a man.

Xu Zeng’s peaceful slumber, his features partially obscured by the new white mask, it was a perfect sight. But deep within him, Xu Hu Zhe felt guilty for he was ready to carry on this ambiguous relationship with his benefactor and friend’s younger brother.

He had failed Xu Feng, but his heart wouldn’t let him let go of the ger leaning against him.

The ger’s hair was much longer than the silver locks he sported in his male form, but just as fluffy. Xu Zeng was asleep against him, his breathing deep with only the bottom half of his face bare to the elements.

The other mask was still inside the carriage, but Xu Hu Zhe had once again put his mask on the smaller ger. Xu Zeng didn’t seem to like people looking at his face, but this was true only when he was a ger.

Despite Xu Zeng’s preference for concealment, the man’s allure remains undeniable to Xu Hu Zhe, whether in male or ger form.

In Xu Hu Zhe’s opinion, the differences in his face weren’t too dramatic, he was always Xu Zeng. The biggest change was in his height, but Xu Hu Zhe liked to look at and touch the other in all forms.

Even now, this small touch between them excited him and made him happy.

Whether he had to share Xu Zeng with Bai Mo or not, he wouldn’t bow out because of his inferiority complex. He couldn’t let go so easily, his heart wouldn’t let him.

He wasn’t sure completely what he felt for the other, but he couldn’t bow out. Xu Hu Zhe’s lip twitched though as he thought of how ridiculous the ger’s mouth could be.

He’d been bragging about how he could impregnate Bai Mo easily and how his seed was very potent as if a ger—or man or woman for that matter —with any sort of shame should be spewing that in front of a man who was interested in him.

The shamelessness ran in the family!

Xu Feng was shameless in a different way though. He was shameless and self- aware. This one was shameless but didn’t seem to be aware of his shamelessness.

Xu Zeng would spout off nonsense without realizing it was nonsense! How could someone be so dense!?

’I can easily get Bai Mo pregnant with one shot!’ The ger had grinned widely as if the ability to get someone else pregnant was something he should be bragging about to a man whom he wanted to pursue.

’I am so fertile in this body that demon beasts with strong bloodlines would be fighting over me in higher realms. You should know that the higher the bloodline, the harder it is to have offspring, but in our ger form, my brother and I can get pregnant no matter how how high our partner’s bloodline it!’

Xu Hu Zhe was happy the ger was finally asleep. Even though Xu Zeng’s excited face was cute, Xu Hu Zhe didn’t want to have a conversation about the ger’s fertility and how he was apparently unable to impregnate the other despite being of immortal bloodline.

The immortal beasts of Dongzhou were apparently all garden snakes, little cats and dogs, common animals you could find on the side of the road in Xu Zeng’s opinion. It was laughable.

To Xu Zeng, all the great and powerful nobles with ’pure’ and ’strong’ blood were just half- breeds. He (Xu Hu Zhe) and Xuan Yang were the ’same thing.’ On the same level, both inferior.

It was ridiculous to think that he, an orphan with no background, and a young master with all the potential in the world (or at least the continent), were on the same level to the lunatic leaning against his shoulder.

But this was a good thing. A very good thing. He had just as much chance with Xu Zeng as Bai Mo did. The silver- haired ger actually wanted to have a relationship with both of them.

The lunatic.

The absolute lunatic.

He, Xu Hu Zhe, was a lunatic too.

It was a good match in that sense.

If it was true that he couldn’t impregnate Xu Zeng, Xu Hu Zhe would settle for raising a child with Xu Zeng and Bai Mo. It would be like what Xuan Jian and Xuan Yang could no longer enjoy with Xu Feng.

Xu Hu Zhe wouldn’t admit it out loud, but it sounded nice. They could build a life together, a warm home. Bai Mo wasn’t a bad person at all and raising a child together would be interesting.

Their child could grow up with Xu Feng’s children, and live together in a happy home, something none of them had had.

...

Xu Hu Zhe’s face suddenly grew so red it could rival Bai Mo’s fox fur easily. His thoughts had drifted to a place he was too ashamed to admit aloud.

He’d overheard things more times than he could, should, or would count. Things that an unmarried man— even a married man would grow red from— had no place hearing.

He was the only one tasked with fetching Xu Feng’s bath water and one of the only trusted people allowed free movement in Blooming Courtyard, it would be strange if he’d never seen these things. Especially since the owner of Blooming Courtyard was quite unrestrained when it came to his two husbands.

To top things off, Xu Hu Zhe was privy to information most didn’t have, he knew certain things that Xu Feng himself didn’t know about his body.

Doctor Ping had confided in Xuan Jian that Xu Feng’s sex drive wasn’t normal. Although he hoped it was just a side effect of the drugs in his system wearing off, it wasn’t natural like he’d told Xu Feng.

It made more sense now to put together what Xu Zeng had ranted about. Xu Feng and Xu Zeng were demon beasts who were the best at child birthing, of course, their sex drives would be high.

If Xu Feng needed two husbands, how could Xu Hu Zhe satisfy Xu Zeng on his own? It was better if he and Bai Mo took care of the lunatic together.

Xu Zeng’s Perspective:

"Your eyes...." Xu Zeng was still a bit tired, but he heard the words from the fox across from him... wait, wasn’t he with Xu Hu Zhe? When had he gone back inside the carriage?

"Hmm?"

Bai Mo cleared his throat and repeated, "Your eyes are beautiful. Very beautiful."

"Thank you." Xu Zeng couldn’t help but smirk at the blushing fox. So very cute. He wanted to tease the other ger a bit, but the lack of motion caught his attention.

"Where are we?"

The carriage wasn’t moving at all. There was still some daylight, so they shouldn’t have reached their destination yet. He reached his hand over to his nephews who were still asleep, no motion from them either.

"We made it to Aran Town, but we can’t seem to find an inn with enough rooms to accommodate us for the night. Xu Hu Zhe is out talking with the last innkeeper."
