The Ger's Contract Marriage [BL]
Chapter 441: Scaling Like a Pro

Chapter 441: Scaling Like a Pro

As the two finally separated, Bai Mo found himself gasping for air, his chest heaving as if he had just outrun a horde of boars without a stump to hide on top.

His fingers hung limply at his side, his brain feeling as scrambled as his disheveled clothing. But despite his breathlessness, there was a frustrating sense of dissatisfaction lingering within him.

Why had the pleasure stopped? He wasn’t ready for it to end, not yet. He wanted more.

There were many stereotypes about those with immortal bloodlines in Dongzhou—and even more, he was unaware of beyond the continent’s barrier. There were only five types of beasts in Dongzhou, but that didn’t keep them from being prejudiced against each other.

Despite not showing any promise as a child, with no chance of carrying any fox immortal blood in his veins, his father and dad both were sure to make sure he was upstanding morally.

Not because of his role as a future master of a branch family, no. It was because of his fox kinship. The fox is known for being the immortal beast with the least sexual restraint.

His oh so great ancestor had fathered many sons and daughters...

Nothing more needs to be said there, but Bai Mo suddenly felt that he wanted to follow all the impulses he’d never known existed before.

While he was only a small fox in the face of this immortal fox beast, he was willing to... he was willing for Xu Zeng.

Meanwhile, Xu Zeng wore a small, satisfied smile, just like that of a cat that had just enjoyed a delicious saucer of cream.

Bai Mo quickly gathered himself, beginning to straighten his robes and then move to fixing his hair with a sense of urgency.

Shame washed over him like a wave, reminding him of the propriety he had momentarily abandoned. He felt like a beast in heat, ready to strip down for the ger in front of him.

His focus was on making himself presentable again, yet his gaze kept drifting back to Xu Zeng, unable to ignore the joy radiating from his companion’s face... or the one coating Bai Mo himself.

Xu Zeng’s good mood was mirrored, and Bai Mo couldn’t help but wonder about the implications of their kiss.

Did it mean they would marry? Would Xu Zeng consider him as a mate? The thought of kissing anyone else, especially Kang Han, filled him with disgust.

Bai Mo realized that he couldn’t imagine kissing someone who wasn’t Xu Zeng. And, he could barely understand why he wasn’t still kissing the other ger.

Even the red mole on Xu Zeng’s head looked enticing. Bai Mo had never cared much about a ger’s mole, but today he wanted to lick the others.

Another shiver ran down his spine as the image flashed by in his mind. He wanted to see the silver fox’s ears as well. If he touched them, could be make Xu Zeng feel as good as he had just a moment ago?

The less fun thoughts were still there, pestering Bai Mo in the background.

Had Xu Zeng kissed the other person who didn’t want to be mates like this? Would Bai Mo have to kiss that person too if they became like Xu Feng and his husbands? Would he be able to kiss someone who wasn’t Xu Zeng ever again?

As the sweet taste of their kiss lingered on his lips, Xu Zeng couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction wash over him.

Bai Mo’s lips had a different sweetness, distinct from Xu Hu Zhe’s, and it thrilled him even more. Not every kiss was as enjoyable, not every person was the right match for him.

He had always had little desire for such intimacy, a sentiment that persisted before and after his blood awakening, both in Sun Village and the other world.

He was young, that was true. His ancestors might look down on his choice... Yet, the thought of happiness, of following Xu Feng’s example with his lovers, lingered in the back of his mind.

His brother was gone, but at least he had experienced some joy before then. Life was a fickle thing even for demon beasts, anything could happen and cut one’s life short, or one could live for centuries. It was all up to fate.

But as he tore his gaze away from the flushed fox before him, the incessant bumping of the carriage jolted him back to reality. The rhythm had become unbearable, almost slowing to a crawl.

With a sense of urgency, Xu Zeng poked his head out of the window, attempting to figure out what was happening with Xu Hu Zhe. However, the angle was all wrong, leaving him frustrated and anxious.

It hadn’t occurred to him before, but now that the thought struck him, it stuck. ’What if something was wrong with the half breed snake?’

Pulling his head back inside, Xu Zeng quickly checked on the basket containing the two eggs, relieved to find them unharmed.

But his relief was short lived as he realized the gravity of their situation. The designated driver seemed distracted, or perhaps the road was too treacherous for them to navigate safely. These were better than Xu Hu Zhe being hurt.

Without a second thought, Xu Zeng sprang into action, determined to find out and solve all situations. He stepped out of the carriage without another thought, clinging to the paneling as he attempted to scale his way toward the driver’s area.

Panic surged through him as he struggled against the relentless movement of the carriage, his heart pounding in his chest.

But before he could reach Xu Hu Zhe, Bai Mo’s voice rang out, "Don’t!"

He looked back for a moment, commanding the fox to close the door and watch over the children. Though it was a firm command, there was an underlying gentleness in Xu Zeng’s tone that couldn’t be ignored.

Xu Zeng slowed as the thought struck him, but he could think deeply about that another time, he needed to check on the half-breed.

He turned from one set of worried eyes to another. Bai Mo was shocked, but Xu Hu Zhe seemed like he was furious. "What are you doing!"
