The Ger's Contract Marriage [BL]
Chapter 369: Not Even Here

Chapter 369: Not Even Here

"AAHHH," The blood curdling sound that came from Xuan Jian’s throat, made Xu Feng’s tears fall faster. The big man’s cries, an ear piercing cry, was like someone died.

Oh. He was dying.

Xu Feng tried once again to drain the remaining seeds in his left hand, but there was nothing left of him. Nothing at all.

He wanted to be more put together for his lovers, but his mind was wandering too far away, too far out of his own reach.

"Take care of our babies." He mumbled low to Xuan Yang. The only one not crying like a banshee.

Xuan Yang glanced at the two eggs, his body still shaking, before he focused back on the silver haired ger. The bed he lay in soaked in his own blood.

Even if Xu Feng’s face seemed more serene than ever, more calm, there was no way Xuan Yang could keep the scent of blood out of his nose. It had permeated everything. All he could smell was blood.

"I love you both, so much more than I thought I could."

"I’m so happy, I got to love you."

Xu Feng didn’t know where the energy came from, but he was happy to share these last words with them. They were the protagonists of this story, and he just wanted them to be happy.

If only he could have done more for them.

"Don’t go." Xuan Jian begged, his knees buckling as moved closer, now kneeling beside Xu Feng’s bed staring at his fragile lover as his own tears flowed freely.

Xuan Yang was silent, letting his own sadness consume him as Xu Feng continued to profess his love, but then words began to flow from his own lips. "I love you. I will always love you. In every life."

Like a chant, or déjà vu, Xuan Jian echoed a response that made all three men shiver. "Every single life, I will love and cherish you."

"Heh," Xu Feng laughed but it was more of a cough, his raw throat was crying like Xuan Jian and Xuan Yang. "I have always loved you, and will always love you in every life to come."

He never knew anything could be so painful. He thought losing grandma was hard, but this, this was harder, he had to see them, and they had to see him off.

Tears streamed from his eyes. This was too painful. This was too much. He was in love, and he would never love again!

"He’s not going to make it, we’re losing him. We need to try some wine to flush his system." Even above the tears of the men beside him, in the gentle affection he received, Xu Feng could hear Midwife Lee screaming at Xu Hu Zhe.

The teen wouldn’t let the midwife back in the room. Even after the double blow from himself and Xuan Jian, the midwife was still trying to save him.

Xu Feng felt a little more reassured. His children should be okay. He was a little worried about his men, but they had each other. He wasn’t leaving them alone.

Xuan Yang was kissing his face, but Xu Feng could barely feel it. He was barely hanging on by a thread. "Don’t leave please." He begged desperately as if the reality had fully hit, "Jian will hunt you all the wolves in Nanshan."

Xuan Jian was now quiet, but his grip was strong, as if he could tether Xu Feng to him.

The scene was one of such vulnerability. His poor lovers, Xu Feng didn’t want them to feel this way.

And his vision was getting farther away...’how can I make them smile. I want them to smile for me.’

"Smile... when you think of me..."

.

.

.

Xu Feng’s vision was a blur. He hadn’t gotten to say goodbye to his babies. He hadn’t even held them once...

The silver haired ger lay in his own blood wishing his mind would fade away into oblivion. He had clearly ceased to be in his home in Nanshan Estate.

His lovers were gone. His children were gone, and yet he wasn’t back in his original world.

Had he gone to heaven? It couldn’t be hell, because the sky seemed to be clear, and the grass beneath him was real enough, but so was the blood. He could still smell the blood.

There wasn’t nearly as much blood as on the bed, but there was still so much blood...and wine?

There was wine, but it wasn’t just any wine, it was fruit wine.

Xu Feng wanted to tilt his head to take in his surroundings, but he couldn’t move, not a finger, not even an eyelash.

He couldn’t use his abilities either.

Well, he couldn’t use them in Nanshan. If he was in his and Xu Zeng’s space maybe he could use them.

...

...

...

No. He still couldn’t use them.

He was really going to die. No transmigration for him.

What about Xu Zeng? Did they switch places?

...

It was getting more and more cold in a space he always knew to be warm.

This was his space, well his joint space with his brother. He is a master here, shouldn’t the land try to protect him or something?

...

Xu Feng couldn’t feel the warm ring on his finger anymore, nor had he ever felt the gold wedding earring Xuan Yang had given him in his ear.

He could in the past feel the cold silver ring the Dong Ancestor had given him, but that was on a chain around his neck.

Xu Feng tried to concentrate on something, anything to keep himself awake. He kept telling himself if it was time to die, he would die, but when it came down to it, he wasn’t ready to go.

He hadn’t even given the Dong Ancestor the fruit wine he’d made. What a waste.

And he didn’t know if Xu Zeng and the Dong Ancestor would get along. He should have put aside the silver ring for his brother, just in case he made his way back to Donghua safely.

Xu Feng had a glimmer of a thought. He was the master of this space, couldn’t he make the things in the space listen to his command, just like the Dong Ancestor did?

’I want the silver ring to go to Xu Zeng,’ He thought.

The ring on his chest levitated, breaking free from his neck, moving only a little before Xu Feng completely lost consciousness.

The product of his experiment fell beside Xu Feng’s body and into something wet.

"BROTHER!"
