Xu Feng lay on the bench, enjoying his alone time. This was as close to alone time as he was allowed to get—Xu Si sat with a stool in the corner sewing something or other.

After his fainting incident, even when Xu Si needed to go relieve herself, she would need to swap out with someone else. He couldn’t even go to the restroom on his own!

It was sort of deserved, but also sort of overkill, but also kind of cute, maybe?

Xu Feng stared into the beams of the greenhouse; his book long forgotten as he spaced out. The golden ring on his finger constantly twirling as he played with it.

In the last few days, he hasn’t connected with Xu Zeng. Even though this had worried him before, he feels much more comfortable with the ring on—it’s like he can feel Xu Zeng through space, time, and void.

He was also trying to be positive, so worrying about his brother was counter productive, babies need de-stressed moms, right?

A mom to, two little foxes, or maybe two tiny snakes. Would he have one of each? It would be like Pokem*n where he collected them all!!!

As Xu Feng lounged on the bench, a mischievous grin playing on his lips, his day dream was interrupted by the arrival of Xuan Yang into the greenhouse. The tall, raven haired man entered the space with a few heavy books in hand, his eyes alight with amusement as he caught sight of Xu Feng lost in thought.

Xu Feng’s grin only widened as he returned to the present, his gaze meeting Xuan Yang’s with playful warmth. It was a familiar routine now, the two of them sharing these moments of quiet in the greenhouse.

As Xuan Yang approached, Xu Si, with her handiwork paused, smiled and bowed respectfully to her young master before acknowledging Xu Feng with a nod. With a faint blush tinting her cheeks, she swiftly excused herself from the greenhouse, leaving the two men alone.

With a knowing smile, Xu Feng watched as Xu Si retreated, her departure signaling the impending cuddle session that was sure to follow.

Ever since Xu Feng’s belly had begun to show, both Xuan Yang and Xuan Jian had seized every opportunity to shower him with affection, using his newfound roundness as an excuse for more intimate moments.

While Xu Feng had always appreciated cuddling, he couldn’t deny that the added presence of his growing belly had made him a bit more approachable. With each passing day, he found himself enjoying the increased attention from his husbands, relishing in the warmth and closeness they shared.

And if Xu Jian’s new routine of exercising in front of him—so they could spend even more time together—were anything to go by, it seemed that his husbands were just as captivated with the view as he was.

"Hahah," with a soft laugh, Xu Feng settled back against the bench, eagerly anticipating the embrace that awaited him while still thinking of the view he got from Xuan Jian every morning.

He couldn’t attempt to make any babies in his current state, and honestly he didn’t want anymore babies, he only wanted to do the ’making babies’ part...

The view, yeah, the view was nice.

As Xuan Yang settled into his role as Xu Feng’s new, nicer backrest, adjusting the pillows to provide maximum comfort, a sudden commotion erupted at the front of the Nanshan Estate. Although the noise was distant from the two husbands’ secluded spot in the Blooming Courtyard, it caught the attention of Xuan Jian, who was returning from a hunting trip.

From the calming scene in the greenhouse to the bustling front of the estate, a servant stood before the imposing gates, looking for an audience with the master of the estate.

"This one requests an audience with the master of the estate, Master Xu Feng," the servant announced confidently, expecting his request to be granted without hesitation.

However, the guard on duty remained firm. "The master is not seeing anyone at this time," he replied, his tone unwavering despite the servant’s insistence.

The visiting servant’s shock was evident, his well dressed appearance contrasting with his flustered behavior. This particular servant had been to the estate a few times, and didn’t expect his request to be denied.

"Bu-bu-but, I’m from the Bai Mansion, you know me," he stammered, hoping his connection to Bai Mo, a close friend of Xu Feng, would grant him entry.

The guard on duty seemed embarrassed, he did know the servant, and the servant’s master, Bai Mo. Bai Mo was Xu Feng’s only guest and a close friend,

So, the guard stood firm, adhering to the strict orders given by Master Jian and Master Yang not to allow any visitors, regardless of their status or affiliation. There was no reason good enough.

Not even Lady Xuan could enter the Nanshan Estate if she wanted to.

The exchange continued for several rounds until a familiar voice cut through the tension. The guard released a relieved sigh, Master Jian had returned. His presence immediately calming the situation like a bucket of ice water.

"What’s the commotion?" Xuan Jian inquired, his voice commanding attention as he approached. Despite his haste to tend to the newly acquired prey from his hunt, he was attentive to any disturbances near the estate, especially unexpected visitors.

As he addressed the situation at hand, Xuan Jian’s thoughts briefly drifted to Xu Feng, knowing that his presence was needed there as well. He was in a rush, and was hopping to take the new prey in quickly. Xu Feng enjoyed the energy rich animals, and he enjoyed spending time with the little ones and of course, Xu Feng.

The Bai servant who quickly spun to address Xuan Jian paused at the sight of the man, no, the beast in front of him. Gossip from Yilin Town passed through their Bai Mansion before, and some of it had gotten to his head.

He’d thought this hulking bloody beast, was someone else for a moment. Even if he shared a ger with another man, he was a hundred years too early to look down on Xuan Jian.

"This on-on-one, came to share good news," He struggled to get out, "Our master, Master Bai achieved Zhuàngyáu..."
