The Ger's Contract Marriage [BL]
Chapter 190: Ninja Warrior

Chapter 190: Ninja Warrior

Xu Feng peeked around the corner with a calculated stealth, like a covert agent in a blockbuster movie... no, no, no, more like a Ninja in a period drama, his movements graceful yet purposeful.

Bai Mo, in contrast, watched the scene unfold with a mix of amusement and discomfort, nursing his now aching belly after the hearty meal, slight regret apparent in his expression.

Typically, the curious one, Bai Mo would have a million and one questions for Xu Feng, but instead, he was too busy nursing his wobbling belly, seemingly regretting the decision to ride horses with the tall ger leading the way.

Xu Feng, however, basked in the mischief and playful troublemaking. He cherished his partners in crime—each with their unique strengths and weaknesses.

Of his two accomplices in troublemaking, Xu Feng liked to get up to no good with Xu Hu Zhe the most. First, he was quiet, second, he could carry all the things both heavy and light, and third he was quiet...

Bai Mo was a supportive accomplice, he encouraged Xu Feng even if he was aware they were up to no good, he took detailed notes when Xu Feng forgot their alibi, and finally, he could take the blame when it came to the Xuans and get away with it.

When Xu Hu Zhe got in trouble because of Xu Feng, his training would get harder and his studies would be endless. While Bai Mo disliked his punishment—being asked to not come to the Nanshan estate for a few days—to Xu Feng this was relatively mild and painless.

As Xu Feng moved cautiously and purposefully out of the vicinity of Budding Courtyard, he kept continuously looking toward the Blooming Courtyard. At this point, if Bai Mo hadn’t realized his friend was up to something, then their friendship thus far was meaningless.

Still, Momo walked along with the silver haired ger, who was determined to make weird motions. One minute he was crouching low, the next he hid behind a tree, the tall ger even tried to hide his tall frame behind a newly planted fruit sapling...

Bai Mo knew he seemed to have blind faith in Xu Feng most of the time, but the ger was ridiculous. The weird motions, and humming of "Du-Du-Dumm, Du-du-dumm, du du, du du," was enough to make him roll his eyes several times, but the sapling was too much even for him.

The scene would have been even more ridiculous to the Bai young master, if he knew what kind of spy song Xu Feng was humming, or what show it came from.

Xu Feng on the other had continued humming his spy music, as if he were 007 himself. Completely forgetting he was supposed to be a ninja, not a western spy.

The two moved further and further away from the residential courtyards, and the servants who were ready for lunch could hardly be seen anywhere on the pathways.

Other than the carefully covered and stored meal in Budding Courtyard, there were two carefully crafted notes for two snakes. Both were written with love and attention, carefully detailing where Xu Feng and Bai Mo would be, and sprinkled with words to ease their worries and invite them to eat the "heartfelt" meal Xu Feng had made for them.

Spoiler alert, it wasn’t a heartfelt apology meal, the silver haired ger in question wasn’t even sorry...He was using his husbands as trash compactors to get rid of his leftovers.

Delicious leftovers made with his plant treasures from his greenhouse.

Xu Feng wanted to feel guilty for leaving the estate without notifying anyone, but not bad enough. Mostly, he was sad for leaving without Xu Hu Zhe. Since he’d gotten a new name, Hu Zhe had been stuck to him like glue, taking the meaning of his name a bit too seriously.

Even not taking Xu Si was leaving Xu Feng in a bit of regret. She wasn’t the most practical accomplice, but when it came to retrieving knowledge (also known as gossip), Xu Si was the best to have around. She also knew how to have fun.

"My master," two servants who were crowded around a makeshift table with a hearty meal from the Nanshan estate’s kitchen swiftly rose up to greet their master, Bai Mo, before also greeting Xu Feng, "Master Feng."

Xu Feng nodded back in return, placing the back basket down before him and scoping out the horses, Xun and Fei.

The two horses shared a stall in the animal shelter, and immediately drew Xu Feng’s eyes. The two stallions were too smart to let him climb them without their owners present.

Don’t ask how Xu Feng knew that.

The snobby stallions resembled their masters when Xu Feng first met them. Nice to look at and clearly well bred, while they feared or respected Xu Feng, they still kept their distance.

The two new horses brought from the Bai mansion, were more homely looking. Xu Feng immediately placed down the back basket he brought with him, and moved toward his targets, hoping not to scare the horses.

Bai Mo on the other hand had realized his friend was doing something big this time. He wasn’t a stranger to the trouble Xu Feng brought him, but today’s trouble smelled like it would be big.

Bai Mo wasn’t stupid, despite his kind nature when it came to those he liked. "Aran," he called to one of the servants.

"Yes, Master Bai."

"When you’re done eating. Not now." Momo stopped the man who was ready to take action, "Take the Xu Feng’s Ox cart back to my mansion and let Elder Li know that I’ll be spending the night here, and I’ll stop by the mansion before heading to the main house in Jinghua."

The two servants seemed shocked, but nodded to their master, ignoring the silver haired ger who was torturing the animals in the corner.

"Let him prepare very well for the trip. I’ve discussed with him prior, so he should know what to do."

"Yes, my lord!" The man started to ready himself to head back to Yilin town before he was reminded by Bai Mo.

"Eat first!" In his head, Momo added, ’the wild animals are somewhere else today, we can afford to take our time today!’
