After Yun Shu lit the fire, the lump filled with rune papers started to burn as the fire was burning like the tongue of a giant camomile, reaching the sky.

When Yun Shu returned back from the shore and closed herself inside the tent, both Nine and Thirteen stood outside to watch over.

"It’s finished, announce to the soldiers to stop the battle and return to camp. We’ll soon leave the border and head back. I’ll be alone for a while, no need to ask me anything unless it’s an emergency."

Yun Shu soaked herself inside the bath as her mind felt blank, closing her eyes and emerging in tiredness.

Was it the right decision?

Even if the souls of these deceased children were harmless, no one would want to know their children got sacrificed and burned to death.

Yun Shu felt guilty for the harm she brought to those children, initially, it was because she changed the plot that this incident happened before the scheduled time.

Though his voice carried no emotion, Yun Shu felt like those are the words she needed right now for her to stabilize her mood and get prepared for the next day.

Sure enough, sometimes this system of hers truly becomes something useful, when other times it didn’t even budge.

However, before Yun Shu could say something, she was interrupted by a certain someone that screamed out loudly as it leaped in the air and tried to grab Chen Yi, though he missed from touching Chen Yi, who was nothing but a transparent hologram.

All this while, the pig has been staying by Yun Shu’s side, using his power to hide his aura and turning invisible to others. He also did his best to persuade Yun Shu into taking him as her contracted beast, but failed miserably.

Yun Shu doesn’t have any interest in him, the strongest being on earth that can shake up the continent’s all spiritual beasts just by one look; she only has interest in boring paperwork all day long and Bai Yunxian, whom she left back in the forest.

Yun Shu’s voice was sarcastic which made the pig whine, but the pale expression on her face made the guy stop for some reason as he couldn’t retaliate harshly.

"It’s good if you can be of help. I don’t raise useless people or useless things, if you don’t come of any use in the future, I’ll immediately dispose of you!"

Yun Shu threatened the pig lightly, though this much was enough to rile it up.

"You, you, you! How could you be so ungrateful, I even did as you said and obediently waited for the person you wanted me to get in a contract with! You are heartless!"

The pig was resigned to his fate while Yun Shu smiled faintly, obviously enjoying the fuss with amusement.

I know how to severe a person’s contract with their spirit beast without harming that person, so stop your imagination from getting wild and be obedient."

The pig answered as it humped arrogantly, turning it’s head sideways.

"That’s more like it. By the way, what’s your name? I can’t always call you ’it’ or ’that thing’ right? Tell me your name." Yun Shu was anticipating the pig’s name that she picked up in the forest.

But unfortunately, the situation wasn’t that good for the person in question as it started sweating, looking around elsewhere.

"T-that, about this! I don’t think I have a name, or even if I had one, I don’t think I can remember it anymore. It’s been so long after all. However, if you want, the Lord can give me a name personally too!"

The pig guy almost threw up everything he ate after hearing the nickname given by Yun Shu.

"No, no need to name me! Just call me pig or ’it’, I don’t care! No need to give such terrible nicknames!"

Yun Shu’s words fell on the pig’s head like lightning as he looked dumbstruck, at a loss for words.

"Aiya! What’s the problem with that pig? This thing see me?" Chen Yi jumped over to the side as he looked at the pig and rolled his eyes.

"Of course I can see you, you are just a soul fragment, aren’t you? What are you doing here? Or don’t tell me, do you have a spiritual contract with Lord Yun?" The pig’s response was too high pitched for Yun Shu, so she just ignored the guy downright.
