Chapter 346 - 34 Red Silk Battles Ao Bing

Chapter 346: Chapter 34 Red Silk Battles Ao Bing

The once tranquil East Sea was now surging with dark tides without warning. The sky, blanketed by dark clouds, bore strands of evil Qi drifting from the horizon.

"Fellow Daoist, my apologies!" Ao Bing, with hair flying wildly, opened his mouth and spat out a shimmering clear spring. It was a small sword, only about an inch long, ringing clear and sharp, its green blade emanating a deep blue brilliance like the sea. The sword Qi, like Jiao Dragons emerging from water, shot straight towards the frontal visage of the Red Silk.

"Hmph!" Red Silk coldly rebuked, her face like frost, and from her dark pupils shot two dazzling beams of light flying towards the longsword unleashed by Ao Bing. The brilliant beams spun like the sun and moon in revolution, shaking the heavens.

Although Ao Bing was born more than a thousand years ago, his exceptional talent, coupled with the numerous spiritual elixirs provided by Dragon King Ao Guang, allowed him to reach the peak of Taiyi Golden Immortal at a young age.

Red Silk, on the other hand, is a disciple of Emperor Fuxi. Not only has she received the true transmission from Fuxi, she also has a gifted talent and has created many miracle techniques, placing her at the peak of Taiyi Golden Immortal as well.

Both are prodigious talents, clashing against each other in combat. It’s difficult to discern who’s superior and who’s inferior.

"Dragon Arm!" Ao Bing’s expression shifted slightly as he uttered in a low growl. The coral-like horns atop his head suddenly shed on their own, transforming into two brownish-yellow arm guards that clung onto his arms, encasing both hands completely.

Ao Bing flicked his finger lightly and said, "Fellow Daoist, is that all the skill you possess?"

From the fingertips of Ao Bing’s arm encased in the Dragon Arm, a water-blue Light Sword vibrated forth, like a giant stone dropped onto a calm lake. Ripples of water-blue spread out in all directions, their indiscriminate force of attack sealing off all of Red Silk’s possible retreats.

"Presumptuous!" Red Silk shouted, her pupils clashing with the blue sword waves.

The two met, and dazzling waves of energy erupted instantly, exploding like fireworks, bright and colorful.

"Good! Then let This Crown Prince experience the unique skills of a disciple of the Human Emperor!" Ao Bing rushed forward, wielding the blue small sword in one hand, while forming a seal with the other. A torrential waterfall erupted, smashing fiercely towards Red Silk.

Red Silk ceased her words, and her raven hair, lustrous and dancing, was imbued with the vast flowing Yuqing True Essence from her body.

With a delicate lift of her hand, her snow-white fingers stood firm like the finest Innate Spiritual Treasure, instantly dissolving the blue waterfall and brushing it towards Ao Bing’s forehead.

"Clang!" A loud noise echoed as Ao Bing raised his right arm to block. The brownish-yellow Dragon Arm radiated a faint aura, keeping Red Silk’s slender jade fingers at bay.

"Boom!"

Ao Bing’s eyes widened, as a faint blue giant dragon soared forth, winding towards Red Silk’s slender waist and flinging her towards the sky. Meanwhile, the inch-long small sword in his right hand suddenly surged in size, swiftly reaching a length of about three feet.

Ao Bing’s robes fluttered as he channeled the Divine Dragon’s energy within him, pouring it madly into the longsword in his hand.

"Hum! Hum!" A gentle chant emanated from the longsword. The agitated sword Qi was rampant and willful within the vicinity.

"Go!" All at once, the sword Qi reached its peak ferocity. Ao Bing shouted, and the longsword soared, slashing towards Red Silk’s waist. The fierce force of the blow split the void, like the most brilliant shaft of sunlight dancing, as if even a casual strike could rupture Heaven and Earth.

"Bang!"

A sudden surge of radiance filled Red Silk’s distinctly black and white pupils, and a terrifying will to kill rose dramatically. It was hard to imagine that such a delicate and exceptional woman could possess such an immense killing intent.

Her hands swiftly joined together, forming the shape of a water jar, and the rich Taiqing True Essence centered at her brow started gathering rapidly.

"Buzz!" With a loud blast, a colossal Crystal Bottle formed from the Void, crystal clear and mesmerizing.

"Taiching Venerable Sage, your disciple humbly channels thousands of thunderbolts through this body! Taiqing Divine Thunder, converge!" Just like a glowing pearl spewing radiance, Red Silk was ethereally beautiful and incomparably pure at this moment.

With a delicate shout, the shading clouds in the sky flared, and the omnipresent spiritual energy burst forth in an instant!

Deafening thunderclaps echoed through Heaven and Earth, and bright silver lightning ravaged wildly through the clouds—silver electric flashes dancing everywhere, creating an ocean of silver thunder more vast than Ao Bing’s Void Sword by untold magnitudes.

"Clang! Clang! Clang!"

Ao Bing’s color drained from his face, and the longsword in his hand slashed towards Red Silk as if wound up uncontrollably, one strike after another.

It was a fearsome sight: myriad blue sword lights scattered across the sky, gradually amalgamating, eventually taking on the girth of a bucket. The waters of the vast East Sea, unknowably deep, were pierced directly by the sword light.

Anyone on the battlefield could clearly see the terrifying black caverns, extending from the sea surface deep into the earth’s layers. After a while, the surrounding seawater filled these grand crevices, and the water level of the sea area for tens of miles around seemed to have dropped by about ten feet.

The deep blue Sword Qi crisscrossed ten thousand paths, piercing through heaven and earth—an intensely horrifying spectacle, weaving at high speeds, heading straight for the heavenly Jade Bottle.

"Hmph, fall!" Red Silk let out a cold chuckle, manipulating the crystalline Crystal Bottle in the Void to move directly above the myriad giant swords. A burst of creamy white, resplendently lightning erupted from the Void.

"Boom boom boom!"

Thousands of milky-white Thunder Dragons streaked across the sky, each bolt of lightning thick as a mountain, wildly dancing through the Void, tightly entwining those immense Sword Qi with their bodies, bright with flashes of lightning. With a ferocious stir, they ground them to rubble, yet the sturdy Dragon bodies remained intact.

"Ah! Summon the Thunder Spirit Purple Bell!" Ao Bing roared in agony, fiercely pointing at his glabella.

A circular purple mark slowly emerged from the depths of his glabella, rotating for about the time it takes to brew a cup of tea, then a crystal-clear, deep purple clawless Thunder Dragon explosively burst forth.

Upon seeing the slightly pale-faced Ao Bing, the dragon let out an angry roar to the heavens.

"Roar!" The small dragon plunged headfirst into the turbulent, untamed Thunder Sea, causing the milky-white sea of lightning to boil violently.

In the Void, a purple Big Bell took shape, entirely condensed from milky-white lightning, but it was completely dyed purple by that deep purple five-clawed Thunder Dragon.

Ao Bing coughed up a mouthful of Essence Blood, which shot straight into the Purple Bell. Instantly, Dragon Roars erupted, and purple light soared skyward.

A serious look flashed across Red Silk’s charming face; she had never seen such a Miracle Technique capable of harnessing the power of Heavenly Thunders! She didn’t expect Ao Bing to possess such an ability; truly worthy of being the Third Prince of the Dragon Palace of the East Sea.

"Let’s see whether your Purple Bell is mightier or my Crystal Bottle is sharper!" Red Silk muttered to herself, her delicate hands rapidly shifting, releasing complex Tao Runes from her fingertips.

The crystal-clear Crystal Bottle was no longer calmly still as before; it began to bob up and down. Endless milky-white Taiqing Divine Thunders were devoured by the Crystal Bottle, and boundless Immortal Light suddenly soared into the sky.

"Boom!"

The Crystal Bottle emptied, Divine Thunders descended from the sky, the Ten Thousand Feet Thunder Sea roared chaotically, boundless and endless.

All the Taiqing Divine Thunders seemed to possess a soul, exploding upon nearing the Purple Bell. Though they could not pierce through the Big Bell, the tremendous penetration force shook the bell violently, emitting a "buzzing" roar!

Ao Bing sat calmly under the Purple Bell, allowing the Divine Thunders to rage around him, yet remaining unmoved like a mountain. But from his slightly ragged and weary appearance, it was not difficult to tell he was at his last arrow.

If the Big Bell were to break, with Red Silk’s resolute nature, Ao Bing would likely suffer serious injuries, if not death.

"Dong! Dong!"

The Big Bell tolled, echoing between Heaven and Earth. However, the increasingly dimming purple light signaled its imminent destruction.

"Transform into the Dragon!" Suddenly, under the bell, Ao Bing bit his teeth in anger and let out a resoundingly loud Dragon Roar. A golden yellow Five-clawed Golden Dragon suddenly soared into the sky, its tail still carrying the small bell stricken by lightning.

"Boom!"

The Dragon Roar moved the Nine Heavens above and stirred the Nine Nether below.

Ao Bing’s massive body crackled, as the majestic Divine Thunders, despite charring his Dragon Scales to a crisp, seemed to leave him unaffected—each segment of his Dragon body was writhing, seemingly gathering the last remnants of Spiritual Energy.

"Boom!"

The Taiqing Divine Thunders pouring out from the Crystal Bottle finally clashed with the Five-clawed Golden Dragon, and the Void could no longer withstand such an impact as it exploded violently.

A massive amount of Chaos Qi rushed in through the cracks. Influenced by the Chaos Qi, the Spiritual Energy within tens of miles became restive.

And Red Silk, who had been calmly floating in the Thunder Sea, was suddenly swept dozens of thousands of miles away by the abruptly enraged Spiritual Energy, her life and death unknown.

Looking at Ao Bing, who had reverted to his true form, he was now exhaling intensely hot breaths from his nostrils. His dragon form dominated like a mountain, with horns as sacred weapons. Despite many damages to his Dragon Scales and even a broken claw, he still stood above the sea surface!

"Huff, huff... In the end, I’ve won!" Ao Bing panted heavily, murmuring softly in his dragon mouth.

In reality, he understood that his victory was a fluke. In terms of Cultivation, they were on par. His final win was only due to the robustness of his Innate physical body, forcefully steadying his figure amidst the violent spatial force. Even so, he was heavily injured. Without Spirit Pills to heal, he wouldn’t be able to circulate Spiritual Power again for a century or two.

Deep within the East Sea, inside the Crystal Palace.

"Sigh, I don’t know if this is a blessing or a curse!" Dragon King Ao Guang’s eyes pierced through layers of the seawater, reaching the Southwestern sea surface.

Ao Yu managed a bitter smile and said, "How can we possibly guess that one’s thoughts? Although the Third Prince won by a fluke this time, a win is a win. If he can’t even endure this bit of hardship, would that one still have him go through trials against that girl?"

Ao Guang helplessly shook his head, about to speak. Suddenly, his expression changed, and a familiar voice rang in his ears: "Ao Guang, come to Penglai Island to see me immediately!"
