Chapter 909: Chapter 909: Why is there a little girl here?
The three groups didn’t meet, each a team of the Human Race, yet they were also competitors.
Lilianna Norman swept her gaze across the crowd and said solemnly, "If we want to gain something, we must first break the Barrier. How about we join forces to break the Barrier, and then rely on our own skills?"
"Good!"
"Agreed!"
Without breaking the Barrier, all talk was futile. Everyone agreed to this proposal and chose to temporarily ally with the Demon Race.
"Smash!"
Countless magical treasures and mighty attacks from Demonic Beasts simultaneously bombarded the Barrier.
This time, the Barrier trembled violently, its color instantly dimming significantly.
A way in!
Everyone’s eyes lit up with joy, and they smashed with even more vigor.
"Bang!"
"Bang!"
After three consecutive hits, the Barrier could no longer withstand and shattered loudly.
As the Barrier shattered, everyone simultaneously rushed towards the magical treasures scattered around.
Carson Flores didn’t hesitate at all and shouted, "Go!"
Team Misrds State’s members scrambled out. Kash Lam, already engulfed in flames, laughed loudly, "Be careful, fire is coming!"
Nine Dragons Annihilation!
Nine Fire Dragons ascended from his body and blasted towards a large crowd ahead.
At the same time, the sound of Lainey Dragon’s Soul-Attracting Bell and another horn reverberated, sweeping out the Soul-Consuming Devil Sound and the shrill Ghost Howl, enveloping a large portion of the rushing crowd.
Before the crowd even reached the magical treasures, they were hit head-on. As their heads spun, the Fire Dragons already scorched them, forcing them back in a disheveled retreat.
Carson Flores wielded the Water-Fire Mirror in his hand, the flames and Ice Storm sweeping towards both sides.
Their strikes forcefully stopped a large group of advancing experts.
In that brief moment, Terry, Kenzo Conley, and others passed like a swift wind, rapidly speeding over the ground and quickly picking up the scattered magical treasures like a sweeping storm.
In just a few blinks of an eye, over a hundred magical treasures had fallen into the hands of Team Misrds State.
The surrounding crowd and the Demon Race, furious, sent various magical treasures, poison mists, and Flying Swords flying towards the group.
"Retreat!"
At Carson Flores’s command, Kash Lam and the others quickly stepped back, clearing the path.
They alone couldn’t withstand these people.
No one pursued Carson Flores and his team; everyone lunged at the magical treasures scattered around the dragon head because any further delay, and those treasures on the ground would likely end up in someone else’s pockets.
After a quick looting spree, Terry and others wisely retreated upon hearing Carson Flores’s command.
The treasures were good, but not the top; there was no need to risk lives, especially since they had already obtained quite a bit. Grabbing any more might provoke others to join forces against them.
Team Misrds State cleanly withdrew from the scramble.
"Let’s retreat to the entrance."
Carson Flores’s eyes locked on the small girl hanging motionlessly in midair, feeling that something was awry, sensing some terrifying occurrence might happen.
The horrifying Dragon Cry was deeply etched in Carson Flores’s mind.
The True Dragon Form is dead; was the source of that Dragon Cry the True Dragon Soul?
It summoned the Dragon Cry, leading countless Demonic Beasts to leap off cliffs for a blood sacrifice. Now, with so many people fighting and looting magical treasures at its corpse, it remained unresponsive?
Where was it now?
Since it existed yet appeared not, what was it doing, just hiding and watching?
Although the scattered magical treasures were abundant, they couldn’t withstand the frenzied looting by so many people, and soon, they were cleaned out.
Some continued to search for magical treasures nearby, some cautiously observed the immobile little girl, and others leaped onto the dragon’s head, eyeing the Black Sword embedded there.
It was a True Dragon after all. How could a sword that pierced the True Dragon’s skull be ordinary?
"No breath, no heartbeat..."
The person beside the little girl observed for a while and cautiously spoke, full of confusion, "Why is there a little girl here?"
Someone cautioned, "Don’t touch her for now."
This hanging little girl was clearly out of place here, exuding a strangeness.
Everyone temporarily spared the little girl and instead focused their attention on the sword at the upper end of the dragon head, each of them eager to try.
"None of you are moving, huh? I’ll give it a try," a brawny young man shouted and approached the sword then hugged the hilt, attempting to pull it out with all his strength.
The Black Greatsword didn’t budge an inch.
The young man’s face turned red, but he couldn’t pull it out at all.
Everyone’s eyes gleamed more intensely; such strength, yet he couldn’t pull out the sword?
This sword was anything but ordinary!
One by one, people came forward to try, but all returned without success.
"Let me try!"
Bryant James stepped forward, his supernatural phenomenon prominent, only the Giant Arm of the seven-armed Arhat grabbed the Giant Sword.
Bryant James shouted, "Up!"
The seven arms clasped the Giant Sword tightly and yanked fiercely.
"Hiss!"
With a grating sound, the Black Greatsword rose a few inches.
Everyone’s eyes suddenly widened.
The Black Sword moved!
Simultaneously, the hanging little girl’s eyelids trembled ever so slightly...
