Chapter 908: The Fallen True Dragon
Chapter 908: Chapter 908: The Fallen True Dragon
Carson Flores and the others’ eyes were wide open, their gaze shocked and their faces blank.
Kenzo Conley muttered in a low voice, "So this is the True Dragon that fell from the sky?"
Kash Lam looked like he was sleepwalking, "This bone spur is the dragon’s rib, and this continuous path is an entire dragon’s spine; my God, how big was this dragon?"
Lainey Dragon looked at the "platform" in front of them that resembled a small hill and exclaimed in astonishment, "Only a small portion of the dragon’s head is exposed above ground; most of it is still buried underground... This is just too massive."
The sound of the wind rose, and Bryant James’s figure appeared beside them, his expression instantly becoming blank and filled with shock.
No matter who it was, such a sight would probably leave them completely stunned.
Lainey Dragon suddenly called out with a trembling voice, "Look there, there’s a person..."
Everyone’s hearts trembled, and they followed the direction of Lainey Dragon’s pointing finger, their pupils suddenly constricting.
Below the huge dragon head, right at the position of the dragon’s mouth, there was actually a little girl around seven or eight years old!
The girl’s hands and feet were thoroughly locked with chains, and she was quietly suspended in mid-air, motionless, as if she were dead.
The little girl seemed too tiny compared to the massive dragon’s head, and because she didn’t make any move at all, everyone had initially neglected her.
Holden Simmons pointed at the area beneath the dragon’s head and suddenly yelled excitedly, "Magical treasures! So many magical treasures!"
On closer inspection, everyone immediately became excited.
Strewn about the ground beneath the dragon’s skeletal head were all sorts of magical treasures. At a glance, there seemed to be hundreds, possibly thousands of them.
Swords, spears, blades, halberds, bells, drums, gongs, hammers, iron armor, silk garments...
"That’s the Arhat Drum! It belongs to our sect!"
"The Soul-shocking Flute! Years ago, our sect’s ancestor took it into the Secret Realm and then went missing; his magical treasure is actually here..."
A group of people scanned the many magical treasures and quickly recognized many that belonged to their respective sects.
Everyone was tempted.
These magical treasures were all very powerful, and obtaining just one would make the trip worthwhile, but there were actually hundreds or thousands here!
Kash Lam was eager to try, "Shall I give it a try?"
Carson Flores nodded, "Go ahead, but be careful."
Kash Lam flew towards the dragon’s head, everyone holding their breath.
No attack came.
Just as Kash Lam was about to reach the dragon’s head, a flash of light appeared above it, and a barrier instantly formed and expanded, enveloping the entire dragon’s head along with the scattered magical treasures around it.
Kash Lam was blocked by the barrier; the magical treasures were right in front of him, but there was nothing he could do but watch.
Kash Lam, straightforward by nature, was displeased after being blocked by the Barrier, his body immediately bursting into fierce flames as if he was the incarnation of the Fire God, and he slammed directly into the Barrier.
The Barrier didn’t even shake; it was as stable as Mount Tai.
Kash Lam looked up, "It’s no use; we are blocked. This Barrier looks formidable!"
Bryant James flew out with a cold face, the Arhat Manifestation appearing behind him.
The Arhat swung various weapons, smashing down like shooting stars.
Even a mountain would be instantly shattered, but when this terrifying force hit the Barrier, it remained completely immovable.
Lainey Dragon clicked her tongue, "This Barrier is too strong!"
Bryant James turned and said, "Let’s all smash it together, otherwise, once more people come, we won’t even get a taste of the soup!"
All eyes turned to Carson Flores who thought Bryant James made sense and then said, "Let’s strike together!"
As long as they could break through the Barrier, not to mention the True Dragon’s inheritance, just the magical treasures on the ground were enough for everyone to strike it rich.
Fourteen people spread out, and under Carson Flores’s coordination, they all struck with full force.
Magical treasures whirled, the momentum was terrifying, but the Barrier stood firm as ever.
Everyone was dumbfounded.
Terry gasped, "It can’t be broken through, what shall we do?"
Carson Flores’s gaze fell on the little girl hanging in mid-air; her existence was too peculiar to be ignored in such a place at such a time.
Amidst such commotion, the little girl still drooped her head, motionless; could she actually be dead?
While everyone was at a loss, the wide passage became noisy again.
Violeta Herrera charged in with hundreds of the Demon Race behind her, followed by numerous Human Cultivators. Some of these individuals were acting alone, others had formed small teams.
"Step back!"
Carson Flores whispered to his companions, who silently distanced themselves from the Barrier and moved aside.
More and more people and demons from the race charged into the cave, totaling at least two or three hundred, and all of them were Nascent Soul Realm experts or above.
Carson Flores saw Shirley Miller standing in a squad of about twenty people, not far from Liam Malone of the Earth Origin Sect.
Carson Flores saw Samantha Tate also in a team, standing next to her senior from Heavenly Mountain, Jayceon Collins.
Thankfully, they were all safe!
Carson Flores let out a sigh of relief; at the same moment, the two women also spotted Carson Flores, their eyes immediately brightening.
