Chapter 802: Chapter 802: Kahdas Bryant James invites you all to climb the mountain and taste the tea!
Killian Jaramillo blinked, his eyes shining a bit brighter.
"Did you write this?"
Carson Flores laughed. "Do I have that kind of talent? It’s just some classic texts circulating in the Mortal Realm. Seeing your reaction, do you like these?"
Killian Jaramillo chuckled lightly. "I just think the artistic conception is quite beautiful. Aren’t you a little too young to be living so leisurely like an old man?"
Carson Flores teased casually. "Aren’t we all cultivators? Our lifespans have suddenly increased by many folds. Being leisurely isn’t so bad."
Killian Jaramillo pursed his lips, his tone playfully reproachful. "You are representing Nutwood Heavenly Cave now. Even if you want to be lazy, there are people pushing you forward."
Carson Flores asked curiously, "Aren’t you from the Four Great Sects of Nutwood Mountain too? Can’t you represent Nutwood? Does it have to be the Cave Master’s disciple?"
Killian Jaramillo sighed. "You’re the newcomer. Among the young generation of talents, whom have you met or heard of?"
Carson Flores replied, "Kahdas’s Bryant James, Floral Moon Sect’s Lainey Dragon, Lam Family’s Kash Lam. Just these three, I’m not sure about the others."
Killian Jaramillo’s expression turned somewhat helpless. "Saint Heir Kenzo Conley, Demon Sun Sect’s Heir Terry, Spirit Abyss’s Ty Baker, Jun Mountain’s Holden Simmons, Jiuyou Sect’s Yin Yunsheng, and so on. Either these people are gifted, or they’ve had extraordinary encounters. Each one, still so young, is terrifyingly strong. The weakest among them is at the Nascent Soul Great Perfection, and many have already stepped into the Divinity Transformation Stage, each with impressive combat power."
"Francisco Smith and I have advanced to the Nascent Soul stage. At our age, our strength is quite good, but that’s only when compared within the Four Great Sects of Nutwood. Compared with sects like Kahdas, Great One, and Demon Sun, we are not on the same level. Someone like me would just be a relatively ordinary Inner Sect Disciple in their sects, not even on par with a True Disciple, let alone being considered a future star of the sect."
"It has always been the Cave Master and his three disciples who have upheld the prestige of Nutwood Mountain. Now that you have become the fourth disciple, and the only young one at that, you must be getting quite a bit of attention. You should be careful, especially since the Cave Master has made a fair number of enemies."
Carson Flores wasn’t afraid, considering he had a big brother who had been invincible through four realms.
Having a backer felt this empowering!
As they were talking, two figures suddenly flew out of the flying boat from Mount Kahdas and headed towards a towering peak in front—Bryant James and Adelaide Bautista.
Bryant James’s voice boomed like thunder from the ninth heaven, rolling over the wasteland and reaching everyone present.
"Kahdas’s Bryant James sincerely invites brothers and sisters from all Great Sects to ascend the mountain for tea."
Carson Flores sat up from his chair in amazement. "Quite the high profile, isn’t he?"
Killian Jaramillo remained composed. "After Bryant James made a significant breakthrough before, he stepped on several talents, making a name for himself. Now Kahdas is taking advantage of the grand competition to establish his position as the number one amongst the young generation in Misrds State. Naturally, there will be quite a struggle for supremacy, as who among the geniuses is willing to submit to others?"
Carson Flores asked curiously, "With his shout, so many people in the wasteland—if everyone goes, would he go bankrupt serving tea?"
Killian Jaramillo laughed at Carson Flores’s words. "While that’s true, not just anyone is qualified to go. Only those prodigies will go; for the rest, wouldn’t it just be humiliating themselves?"
Carson Flores inquired, "Aren’t you a representative of the young disciples of Thousand Swords Sect? Aren’t you going?"
Killian Jaramillo nodded, his gaze carrying a hint of subtlety. "I am going. It’s to be a close observer, to see for myself. It’s a mission already arranged by the sect."
Carson Flores showed understanding. "Clocking in to maintain presence, I get it. Then, off you go."
Killian Jaramillo asked curiously, "Aren’t you planning to go?"
Carson Flores lay back down, adopting a lazy pose, and spoke leisurely, "As you said, the others are at least at Nascent Soul Great Perfection. What business do I, a Golden Core, have there? If someone slaps me in the face, I don’t have my senior brother’s ability to break through four realms in a rage..."
Before Carson Flores finished talking, the Communication Stone suddenly lit up.
Carson Flores picked up the Communication Stone, glanced at the message, and his smiling face immediately fell.
Killian Jaramillo pursed his lips and chuckled lightly. "What’s wrong?"
Carson Flores sat back up from his chair, rubbed his face with his hand, and his expression showed resignation. "Senior Sister told me to go too."
Killian Jaramillo couldn’t help but snicker. "Then let’s go together. You don’t seem to care much anyway. We’ll just watch the play from the back."
Carson Flores stood up, packed away his chair, "Alright, let’s go see the play."
Carson Flores took to the air on his sword, joining Killian Jaramillo, heading toward the distant peak. At that moment, countless huge boats parked on the wasteland were ablaze with Sword Light, figures darting like the wind, all heading towards that peak.
Carson Flores and Killian Jaramillo had not flown far when Lainey Dragon’s figure swiftly passed by them, but then she suddenly stopped, turned her head, and gave Carson Flores a slight smile.
"Oh, handsome, what a coincidence! Let’s go together..."
