Chapter 113: Semel, the Leader of Dark Knights

" Who is this leader that you are talking about?" Though Cian knew that there was only one leader of the Dark Knights in the Empire, who managed to escape getting caught and thrown into the Dark tower but he still wanted to know whether his hunch was right or not.

Andrew sucked on his cheek with the pain and closed his eyes before taking a calming breath. " I don’t know," with blood dripping down his half-eaten calves, he gritted out in pain. " I never heard them mention anything, I only heard about the ’leader’, ’first’ and something about revival, apart from that I have no idea about anything. You can kill me but I still will only be able to give you just this much information."

A wave of wariness washed over Cian as he exchanged a look with Dominic —— the word leader was enough to send them on high alert but ’revival’ that made their spine straighten up so fast that Cian was worried he broke his.

" That is all that I know," said Andrew with a painful groan. " I wouldn’t throw myself in harm’s way by knowing too much because if I did then the guild master would have dealt with me like he would have done with any other liability."

" Don’t make yourself sound so nice," snapped Claus kicking off the wall he was leaning against. " You might be doing a job but you delivered a bunch of innocent women and children to God knows who and left them to become a resource for blood, you knew what was going to happen to them but you still grabbed them and you tried to grab my beloved student as well. I won’t be talking like a freaking generous prince if I was you."

Andrew raised his head and shot Claus with a glare that was filled with anger. " I did what was needed to stay alive, the Queen rounded everyone who was related to Dark magic, my family has been the supporters of Prince Leon and the Queen had them imprisoned and executed, what was I supposed to do?" A pause. " And what are you looking down at me for? Aren’t you the same? Your guild is an assassination guild for goodness sake but you are all right because he.." Andrew tipped his chin at Cian. " He is a member of your guild. You can kill people at any time and place but I am the one in wrong for being just a kidnapper? At least I didn’t hurt anyone like you guys!"

" Oh but that’s where you are wrong, we might be an assassination guild but we are what you will call freaking legal and we have never harmed children or women unless they really deserved it," snorted Cian as he stood up from his chair. " But don’t worry, after today you won’t be able to do anything because I have no intention of letting you out of this prison."

Cian watched as free flickered in Andrew’s eyes but he still raised his chin stubbornly and said, " Fine, kill me because that’s what is expected of you right."

Did he think he was going to die swiftly? Hah, Cian wasn’t that good of a person and he definitely wasn’t someone who was going to forgive someone like Andrew. Kidnapping him was one thing but kidnapping children and helpless women all to suck their blood was a completely different thing.

" Get out of the prison," he said to Dominic, before retreating a few steps and snapping his fingers. As soon as he did that the water level in the prison started to rise causing Andrew’s eyes to go wide as he shouted, " No, No.,.you can’t do this to me."

" Yes, Yes...I surely can do this to you. Did you really think that trying to get your hands on me would be a good idea?"

" You said that you will make it swift in case I tell you everything," he shouted, his glare full of hatred as he looked at Cian.

" You did tell me everything, Andrew but that doesn’t mean that you didn’t kidnap helpless children and unique creatures to become a blood resource for your kind under the nose of my wife, you didn’t care just how much pain those children and women might have gone through and how much trouble your antics of helping a black mage would bring to the Empire, you only cared about yourself. You betrayed the Empire, it will be a shame if I was to show mercy to you or anyone else."

And that was when the water filled the prison until it reached Andrew’s neck. Cian blinked his eyes then unleashed the full fury of the piranhas in the water, " Make sure to kill him very slowly."

The bunch of piranhas struck at Andrew, biting and nibbling on his flesh as the latter struggled against his binds.

Once his screams started to echo in the dungeons, Cian turned to Claus. " Look out for him, if you see that he is dying a bit quicker then make sure to ask a healer to deal with his injuries before unleashing the piranhas again."

" Don’t worry," Claus waved his hand with a snort. " I will take proper care of him, don’t worry he wouldn’t die before three weeks."

Cian nodded as he walked away from the dungeons together with Dominic. With his hands clasped behind his head, Dominic began, " Even though I would love to think that something like that isn’t happening, there is no point denying who is behind this is it?"

" I know," said Cian rubbing his chin. " But maybe this guy isn’t the same one as we are thinking of, there is always a possibility of that. That person was gone after Leon was executed for treason."

Dominic bit his lip. " Just how many people do you think will have the guts to do something as daring as that other than him? There is only one man in the capital who will dare to run an illegal auction in the Empire and call himself the leader of Dark Knight..and that’s Semel."
