The Devil's Warrior Queen -
Chapter 163: Execution
Chapter 163: Execution
Being dragged into the room by Zamiel like a ragdoll, the demoness of seduction didn’t look so seductive anymore as she wailed angrily, her black eyes reeled with rage.
She was looking rather disheveled for a demoness of seduction, no longer retaining that salacious aura that made her stand out as she winced in pain while Zamiel grabbed her by the neck with a firm grip.
Zamiel pushed her roughly towards the foot of the scaffold where the throne was seated. She tumbled forward on her fours, her gaze locked onto Rama as she peered at her from below.
Rama wasn’t so shocked at the revelation of the culprit, she had suspected the sly demoness and it turned out her hunch was right after all.
Murmuring whispers rose from the crowd at the revelation of the wrongdoer, while some pitied her gruesome end, others anticipated her death with eager eyes.
Onyx looked around, as if scrutinizing the hall for an escape route but Zamiel was blocking the only escape route as he walked stiffly toward the door and stood in front of it, arms crossed behind his back.
His cold, impassive eyes and stoic demeanour hardened on her as if daring her to take one step closer to him which she got the message and remained rooted to the floor.
Moreover, it was utterly useless to try and escape from Draco when he was right in front of her, evading him was merely illogical.
Draco sprouted up from his seat as he stood upright, making the demoness move back, lips quivering in fear with shuddering breaths.
"You can’t kill me!" She snarled as she frantically stood to her feet.
"Why not?" Draco asked with a calm tone, yet it sounded rather daunting with a hint of menace floating in the air.
"My father will come for you if you shed my blood for a mere, useless human! I am an ancient demon, I do not deserve this treatment from you or anyone else, let me go right this instant!" She snapped hyste.
rically, chin raised high to portray her authority and high rank in the demon realm, but she had forgotten she was in the empire of the devils son, the rules didn’t apply to him, it never did.
"As for your father, let him come, he’ll meet the same fate as his foolish daughter and to me, you’re no high ranking demon, you’re nothing but a nuisance." His hard fiery eyes melted into hers like an erupting volcano, melting her every resolve in a beat.
Rama and the guests watched the unfolding event with anticipation, breaths bated and unwavering attention fixated on them as they waited eagerly for her punishment to be served, meanwhile Rana wanted the execution to be done and over with so she could evade the presence of Damien and cuddle with Draco all night.
The demoness swallowed hard as she took shaky steps backward "No! You can’t kill me! I am daughter of Asmodeus, one of the seven high ranked demon lords, I am Onyx!" She let out a shrill outroar as if reminding every presence of who she was and her significance, but only silence echoed back to her.
Draco merely shot her a long hard glance before veering around and retreating to his throne. Everyone watched with confusion and suspense as he crossed one long leg over the other, leaving the demoness in her standing position while she watched him with cautious eyes.
Even as she tried to act tough and confident, her body trembled as she cowered not in the face of death, but in the dark presence of Draco.
"I declare your execution for the attempted murder of my wife and treason." He proclaimed openly with a flat tone and then her face turned grave with a shadowed look, her eyes dilating like saucers as she shook her head vigorously.
In a frenzied state, she staggered backward, aware of the fact that there was no winning against Draco, neither could she evade her plight of becoming a scapegoat, a reminder never to cross him, but still she couldn’t accept her dreadful fate of dying in his cold hands.
Although she was expecting no less from suc a ruthless, he was a callous and cold blooded creature, she expected no sympathy nor compassion, something he wasn’t born with, but still she didn’t want to accept her cold fate, but it was written with certainty and even the universe acknowledged the will of Draco, nothing could save her, not even Lucifer or her father.
Her eyes darted to Rama and she gritted her teeth in nerve splitting bitterness, her face was devoid of sympathy with rather a bored yet anticipated look on it, as if she was nothing more than a mere disposable trash in her eyes.
"You wench! I’ll be waiting for you in hell when the devil rips you apart!" She hissed vehemently at Rama, but a mockful smirk made her lips curve up.
"I’m sorry love, but I won’t be able to keep you company." Rama voiced out with a crooked grin and the demoness’s body trembled even more.
Rage sufficed her entire being but there was nothing she could do other than count her remaining seconds and brace herself for the torturing pain he would inflict on her.
"No! You cannot kill me Draco! My father will come for you!" She shrieked in dreadfulness, her black eyes translucent with horror reflecting in them, knowing her end was inevitable in the hands of the devil’s son.
"I’ll be here waiting." Draco uttered calmly, like a calm ocean with a guttural storm beneath it.
Immediately he spoke, the ambiance cloaking the room weighed heavy with a chilling air, the sense of his otherworldly powers clinged to every inch of the room, the intense taste of menace resting on their tongues as the drastic change occurred.
As if a blazing volcano had been infused into her very blood, tendrils of red glowing veins spread throughout her body, manifesting on her skin with a sizzling sensation that seemed to burn through her flesh with a scorching heat.
She groaned in pain with a shrilling ear piercing cry as she slumped weakly to the floor, fiery flames pulsating through her veins with an unfathomable pressure as they coursed through her skin, her flesh shrivelling as the flames ate through it from beneath her skin.
They all watched in silence at the immeasurable display of the devils son’s power and the level of torture as hellish flames burned within out of her, leaving her in agony and misery.
The flames coursing through her veins intensified as they spread to her face, her gorgeous facial features melted into her skull, leaving only the trace of a hideous looking monster and within a few minutes of her torture, the glowing tendrils of veins running over her shriveled skin glowed with a hellish aura and in the next moment, her body exploded with a bombarding echo.
Her body combusted like a water balloon filled with blood, as chunks of her body splattered all over the floor and her blood flowed like a calm stream, bloody bits of her scattered all over the marble floor and walls as if a massacre had taken place there.
The guests gasped with a terror stricken countenance but amidst their terrified gazes, they were impressed at their king’s exceptional show and afterwards, a wave of applause resounded heavily from the crowd as they acknowledged the kings prowess.
Meanwhile Rama felt gasped in utter shoc when she saw the demoness explode into tiny bloody pieces.
While she had expected Draco to convey a gruesome death to the culprit, she hadn’t seen that coming, she was both disgusted by the bloody chunks of what was once Onyx covering a wide expanse of the floor like a large bug that had been squashed by a giant’s foot and yet, she felt impressed by his phenomenal powers.
The exhibition spoke levels of his immeasurable powers that was left unmatched, giving her such a gruesome death without moving a single finger, Rama could understand why he wanted to make a lesson out of it, it was a display of pride and the remarkable powers he harnessed.
Her eyes narrowed to the chunks of flesh slipping down the wall with trails of blood, she felt nauseous at the sight, the smell of blood and death cramming the air forcefully being inhaled by her, the lingering darkness swirling around the room to portray traces of Draco’s dark powers made her toes curl.
She quickly averted her gaze from the bloody pieces before she would vomit on the throne and disgrace herself. She had seen blood but this sight was far more disgusting to gain sight of her insides and organs being sprawled all over the floor like she was in so sort of slaughterhouse.
A cold yet warm hand rested on hers and she turned to look at Draco, her eyes boring into his dark ones that were no longer a crimson ember hue but rather a burning golden ones, exactly a replica of his father’s, but the perceptible difference was the undying warmth and tenderness it retained even though at that moment it burned like hell.
In a few seconds, it turned normal as a shade of crimson spread over it like blood injected into his orbs, for a moment they danced with the flames like a beautiful inferno, one that left her staring with a mesmerized gasp, making her forget the world and everything at that moment.
"Your eyes." She whispered with an awe stricken look.
