The Devil's Warrior Queen -
Chapter 118: A Bond Of Damnation
Chapter 118: A Bond Of Damnation
Her lips quivered uncontrollably with fear and anticipation of the worse, as she realized something was undeniably wrong and she was left out in the unknown.
The taste of the air was of acrid bitterness, as if the very night had a foul taste, but it was a taste of her fear, mixed with dread and anticipation.
Garnering up her energy even though she felt her legs wobble weakly beneath the white dress, she pushed his hand away from her face to look into his eyes. Although his hands pulled away from her face, she knew it wasn’t her push, she wouldn’t have been able to anyway.
She darted her gaze back and forth between the two demons who both had an unhinged secret hanging in the air.
"What is going on? I need an explanation, you cannot push me around and expect me to follow blindly." She said with a firm tone as she exchanged glances between them as she panted heavily, not for air but in fear.
"We made a deal." Draco drawled out.
As soon as he spoke, Damien looked paler, signs of desperation, anger and bitterness etched on his face, his crimson eyes burned with a fury she had never seen before.
He clenched his fists in a tight ball as his fingers pierced into his palm releasing thin rivulets of blood out of his clenched fists, but beneath the fury burning within him, there was a composure he maintained, as if he didn’t want to react, but still he was nothing like the Damien she knew, he was nothing but a shadow of his former self at that moment as rage, envy and darkness engulfed him.
A lump formed in her throat when she heard him speak, from the looks of things, whatever deal they made wasn’t working in the favour of Damien and somehow, she seemed connected in all the turmoil of confusion they were creating, but then, her eyes enlarged with horror when she realized she was the deal breaker.
"W-What deal?" She queried, her voice betrayed her as it broke into a smattering whisper, dreading whatever word that would roll of those luscious lips of his.
His eyes glinted with dark pleasure and an undercurrent of menace as he spoke, a lopsided smirk never leaving his lips.
"A deal in exchange for your freedom. If he managed to successfully mark you with the bond bite before the midnight wedding bell rang, you’d be free from my shackles as a prisoner, but if he failed...." He paused with a dreary grin tearing through his lips, letting his words process into her head.
Her spine tingled with an other worldly chill at the revelation of their deal, a bargain of her freedom was made between them like she was some tool, but what made her toes curl in blood curdling anxiety was the realization that Damien had failed the side of his deal, which meant...
"...You’ll be bound to me for all of eternity." Draco continued, his voice a symphony of velvety smoothness and jagged edges that seemed to caress the very core of her being while threatening to tear her apart.
Damien knew it was over, envy and rage tore through his mind and soul like vicious beasts, it threatened his resolve that was hanging on a thin thread of sanity, but there was nothing he could do, he knew very well the consequences of making a deal with the devil, but his scorching love had blinded his eyes, leaving him with nothing but envy to engulf his entire being.
He had always known her heart was a distant mile away from his, although he had thought he could win her heart as the days counted, but at that moment, when he saw the emotions reflecting past her mirrored gaze, he realized that he had always captured her heart, blurring the line of hate she harboured for him.
Rama stricken with speechlessness at the shocking revelation jumped on her feet when she heard the door slam shut with a loud bang, her head whipped to the side, but there was no sign of Damien. He had accepted his failure, since there was nothing he could do to nullify the deal anyway, as it was already fixed and sealed, unbreakable in all ways.
Her heart stung for lord Damien’s shattered feelings as she realized the bond bite had failed to work because of her distant heart. She felt utterly bad, she regretted not doing the right thing earlier by rejecting his proposal, at least it would save him the heartache she caused him now.
"Look at me." Draco’s commanding, yet magnetic voice broke her out of her train of thoughts as he tilted her head to face him, ember eyes boring into hers as if burning into her soul.
"I reject your bondbite." She spouted out firmly with fierce sharp eyes glaring into his.
But as soon as those words rolled off her lips, a dark chuckle reverberated beneath his breath to sate the air with the dark melodic sound.
"Your rejection doesn’t stand my feisty princess, your body and soul belongs to me. I’ll devour them and savour the taste of your sweetness, you beg for me, you yearn for it." He started with confidence in a dark husky voice, hypnotizing her senses into surrender.
He pulled her forward with a strong, yet gentle force as he leaned down on her neck, his hot breath fanning her skin made her body burn with a weird sensation, oddly she wanted to feel his fangs digging into her skin, she wanted to feel the pleasing burn.
But still, her subconsciousness held a bit of willpower to fight against his seductive pull, she thought maybe if she fought against him, the bondbite would fail to work too.
She sent out futile punches on his hard chest even though it was most likely not to affect him as he didn’t budge.
As if enjoying her futile struggles and desperate plight, a wicked grin flashed across his lips as he suddenly grabbed both of her wrists, and with eyes ablaze like burning coals, he leaned closer, his lips parting to reveal fangs that glistened like obsidian daggers.
As the world held its breath, he lowered his head, his seductive crimson shade of lips smeared her delicate skin, scorching as hellfire. His mere lips made her freeze, she hated how he could make her react to his touch, no matter how insignificant it was supposed to be.
As soon as his lips collided against her skin, she felt his fangs digging into her flesh, leaving a mark upon her tender flesh, an indelible mark that transcended a mere bite, delving deep into the very essence of her being.
It was a bond bite, a sinister and passionate fusion of their souls, sealing their connection with chains that were as binding as they were unbreakable.
With every pulse of their shared heartbeat, their emotions entwined, a tumultuous whirlwind of desire and darkness. Their physical bodies, once separate, now merged with a wicked intimacy, igniting a consuming passion that could only be born in the crucible of the netherworld. And in the recesses of their intertwined minds, secrets were laid bare, and their thoughts danced in a macabre symphony.
This unholy union, marked by the Devil’s son’s insatiable obsession, was not for the faint of heart, for it was an eternity of ecstasy and torment, a seductive spiral into the abyss where love and darkness became one.
Forever, their souls would be bound, and together they would walk the treacherous path of eternal damnation.
As soon as she was bitten, she felt a myriad of strange sensations coursing through her veins, they were powerful beyond her imagination, it felt as though she was floating in a sea of an irresistible dark allure, one that bound her into Draco’s sinister captivation, the bond was so strong, yet so dark and alluring.
After the Devil’s son claimed her with his infernal bite, her heart became a battlefield, where light waged an unending war against darkness. She could feel the sinister presence of his soul intertwined with her own, like a chain forged in the fires of hell, binding them for eternity.
A maddening storm of emotions engulfed her, as if the very essence of her being had been thrown into chaos. His desires and obsessions intertwined with her own, blurring the lines between love and malevolence, leaving her teetering on the precipice of temptation and damnation.
Amidst the turmoil, there was an undeniable allure to their shared existence. She felt a dark, forbidden passion coursing through her veins, an intoxicating connection that transcended the boundaries of mortal love. Their souls danced to an otherworldly rhythm, a symphony of desire and danger that left her craving the very darkness she should have feared.
She was both prisoner and partner, bound to Draco in a way that defied the laws of both heaven and hell.
Her heart raced in dark anticipation and confusion as she grappled with the weight of this unholy bond, torn between the yearning for freedom and the seductive pull of their shared destiny.
Will she be able to resist this unholy bond or will she finally succumb to his dark allure?
