Chapter 786: Isis And Sierra
Chapter 786: Isis And Sierra
Arlan and Yorian shared the gazes. Yorian said, "Prince Arlan, would you come with me. I have something to talk about. Till then, let the father and daughter talk for a while."
Arlan nodded and said to Oriana, I’ll be back in a while.
Oriana nodded and the two walked away.
The silence surrounded the two as they continued to sit quietly.
Finally, Oriana gathered some courage and asked, "Did you love my mother in both her lives?"
The man looked at her beautiful eyes which reminded him of the eyes of his late wife. "Do you think just because I am Demon, I do not know how to love and cherish someone?"
"I don’t mean it that way. I just wanted to ask as she was a deity and Demons seem to not like deities," she explained.
"Whether Demoness or a deity, she was my wife, and I loved her with all I have," he replied, "Though Demons do not have a great reputation due to all the misconceptions about us, do know that, once we give our heart to someone, we belonged to that person for eternity. You mother was that one person for me. We cherish having our own families and wish to live a peaceful life with them. Not just my wife, I cherished my daughter Esmeray as well."
Oriana could feel the sincerity in his words and gaze. She wondered how there were as a father and daughter in the past life. In this life, she didn’t even get to see him till this day, let alone spending time with him.
"I have no memories of the past," she added.
"Once you regain all your powers after removing that shield around the Demon realm, you will get all your memories," he assured.
Oriana didn’t know what more to talk about. "I need to rest. I will see you later."
He hummed and she walked away to go back to the cottage. Her heart, her mind filled with so many emotions and thoughts which made her feel more exhausted than she already was.
Arlan saw it and said to Yorian, "You can take care of our guest. I am going back to my wife."
Yorian agreed and Arlan caught up with Oriana. She was tired so he let her sleep while holding her in his arms.
Though tired, she seemed restless so Arlan could not help but ask, "What are you thinking about?"
"I was thinking of going back and removing the shield around the Demon realm right away," she said.
Arlan could understand her eagerness to regain her memories. "Wait for a little. That’s our only way to distract deities when we enter the heaven realm."
"I know, but...." she sighed, "Alright. Hug me tight so I can sleep better."
"Or you want me to do something? It’s been a while since...."
"It’s been only a day or two since we returned from the Demon realm," she countered.
"But to me it feels like an eternity," he said and raised her head up to kiss her.
Oriana slapped his hand away. "There your friends are worried about their mates, and here you are being horny. Those two poor dragons have been apart from their mates just to help you get your mate back and now they have returned, their mates have gone. Don’t you feel bad for them?"
"Me feeling bad about it won’t return their mates. For now I have to care for my own mate," he replied looking into her eyes with a resolute gaze, "and when the time comes, I will fight with all my might to help my friends and bring their mates back."
"I was just teasing you," she commented, "I can never doubt your sincerity towards your friends," and pecked on his lips. "Let’s rest now. We have to get ready for a big fight ahead."
Arlan hummed and pecked on her forehead.

In the heaven realm.
Inside the secret dungeons, footsteps echoed. The deity of desire, deity Isis followed by her angel servants walked to see the three women they had abducted from the human realm.
The dungeons pathway was lit up with the magical light, making everything bright as the day.
The dungeons had a huge circular place in the middle and had prison-like rooms along the stony walls.
"Bring them out," one of the angels instructed the female dungeon guards.
Soon after three delicate figures were brought out and were pushed on the cold stony floor. They appeared weak and were confined with the magical chains which turned them weaker and powerless.
"Look who we have here?" Isis said in a sarcastic tone, "A sinner deity of fire, an ugly witch and her bastard daughter. Isn’t it how the kids born out of wedlock are addressed in the human realm?"
The three of them looked at Isis. Ember and Seren didn’t know her but they could guess as there was only an enemy deity they had in the heaven realm.
"How are you my dear friend, Siera?" Isis chuckled, "Enjoying the hospitality of the heaven realm once more?"
Sierra looked at Isis, and said, "You won’t be able to keep us here for long. Do you think other deities won’t know..."
"They don’t know anything," Isis interrupted her, "All the deities were busy worrying about something unusual happening in the demon realm that no one paid attention to what I was doing. As usual, all the deities lose their minds whenever it’s about the Demon realm."
The three looked at each other wondering if the three Dragons and Oriana had returned to the human realm.
"You three are going to be my prisoners and no one would ever know. Once I get the hellfire, I will make sure to burn you three in that hellfire and get rid of your annoying existences."
Sierra steadied herself on the floor and said, "You better let us go and then atone to your sins, Isis. If not, I can see your days of doom are not far."
"You insolent witch!" Isis used her magic and punished Sierra who was thrown away and collided with the stone wall behind.
"Mother!" Seren called out.
While Ember glared at Isis with her fury gaze as if something inside her was telling her that this woman was her mortal enemy, and she had to kill her. She tried to free her herself from the chains but couldn’t.
Sierra didn’t make any sound as she didn’t wish to let Isis have the satisfaction of tormenting her and neither did she want to worry Seren.
"Mother, are you alright?" Seren asked in a worry, her eyes moist as she could do nothing at all.
At this moment, she wished if she was still cursed and her anger or her tears could bring disaster to this place, but it was not happening. The moment Drayce saw her face, she found her true love, the curse was broken.
Isis looked at the pair of mother and daughter. "Tsk! Does it hurt you to see your mother like this, you disgusting halfling?"
"You are the one disgusting, not my daughter," Sierra said, acting all unaffected.
Isis laughed in an evil way and said to the guards, "Bring that witch to my feet."
The guards threw Sierra at Isis’s feet. Isis looked at Seren and said, "Have you ever seen how beautiful your mother looks?"
Seren felt hurt for her mother and said, "She is my mother and most beautiful to me."
"But still, let me show you her real self," Isis used magic and the hood over Sierra’s face was gone, exposing her face to others.
Seren’s gaze met with her mother’s, both looking at each other wordlessly. Sierra has hidden her face from her, but now...
