Anastasia was really anxious, she did not know when she started calling out his name. Once again she regrets not reading those old books her mother have left behind, at least that way she might be able to offer a first aid treatment.

She did not need to be outstanding.

The more she thought in this direction the more scared she was. She had fallen down from a slope she had no idea where they were.

She also did not have a map, this was the border, she was worried that if she took the wrong turn she might really deliver herself to the people of Gube.

Looking closely at Ernest she noticed his rising and falling chest, she comforted herself that as long as he was alive there was still hope.

Moreover, Ernest had said that the prince guards would soon fine then. Thinking in this direction Anastasia looked out of the open field although she could not tell how much time had passed but she became anxious after all, it has been so long and no one had come for them.

They had fallen down the slope, and to make it easier to find them, they had stayed within range. She extended her hand to the fire to keep warm.

Time pass quickly, Anastasia would look at Ernest from time to time seeing his moving chest she would comfort herself. Once again she looked at Ernest and saw that his face was getting paler. She moved over and touched his forehead, he was down with a fever. His temperature was quite hot.

Anastasia frown, although he was just a soilder and she even suspect his motive of not taking cridy for saving her, she still did not want any harm to come to him.

She listens around for the sound of water but heard none

After s while Anastasia remember that when she was anxious she usually had swelling palm which would something be almost be as cold as ice.

She had become anxious with the passage of time without rescues. Her palm did not go cold because she had been warming up by the fire.

Anastasia had no choice but to first increase the fire, she knew Ernest was cold but there was nothing to cover him with.

She also did not increase the fire too much, as time pass as expected her palm became swelt and cold. She wanted nothing more than to go close to the fire and warm up but looking at Ernest condition she could only put her cold palm on his forehead hopefully to calm down his temperature.

She switched from left to right. Although his body was hurt and it did not help much to keep her warm she felt this time they were helping each others.

After an unknown time, Anastasia was beginning to feel sick and tired herself, she wanted to close her eyes and rest but in that moment she heard footsteps approachimg them.

Anastasia became alert, she did not think the other person was the search party from Nixel. After all if someone was looking for her, he would not act so cautious.

Anastasia was certain the person was trying to understand their situation before making a move. Anastasia felt her body going cold. She did not know how to fight and Ernest was currently unconscious.

If this person had bad motive she might really suffer.

Anastasia looked out, there were a few trees and it was still dark so she could not see the people.

She thought fast and hard but no solution came to mind.

After thinking for a long time, Anastasia looked around Ernest armor and sure enough she found a knife.

She took it, holding it firmly in her hand she hide her hand in her dress; lay down beside Ernest and pretended to sleep

This was the only plan she could come up with, she could not fight and only hopes that the person would lower their guards thinking they were both asleep or unconscious.

Anastasia had her eyes closed but it felt that having closed her eyes onlyade her ear more effective.

Her heart was beating fast as she heard the person approached them. She did her best to keep herself from opening her eyes or keeping her act running.

Although she did not have many skills but to ecape Leah’s cruel hand she had on a few occasions pretend to faint. She she could only hope that her act this time was enough to convince this person.

After all, Leah was just a maid, and this person could have a sharp mind.

The person came closer, his steps were as light as possible, his gaze first fell on the fire still burning and then looked at the two people sleeping close by.

He heard the strong smell of blood and was sure that one of them should be seriously injured.

He held his sword firmly on her alert as he moved closer.

When he came cloy, he observed the two people closely. He was very skilled with people and he so realize that Ernest was unconscious.

The lady by the sis seems to be asleep. Looking at their position, he realized that Anastasia most have been taking care of Ernest and fell asleep tired.

Knowing that Ernest was really unconscious, the man return his sword to his shield he lowered himself to cover Anastasia’s mouth to carry her out of the place without waking up

Anastasia felt the hand coming closer to her her body was stiff, she silently calculated in her heart.

Trying her best not to give her heart away but the man nothing the unrelated state of her body. He guess that his movement must have woken her up, so he speed up his actions, reaching to take her immediately.

Anastasia was caught off guard as the man had suddenly moved fast and carried her up .

Although everything was fast, man’s greatest strength was survival insist. She immediately lodge the knife at the man’s eyes.

Her movement was fast, in desperate times there was really no time to hesitate. She did not know what the man would do to her if he successfully taken her away.

The man saw her fast moment, he wanted to dodge but he had underestimated the lady before him .

Anastasia stabbed at his right eye ruthless, the man felt pain and subconscious let go of Anastasia. Anastasia was not stupid to believe she could outrun this man. Moreover, she was not familiar with this part. She fear most running into the wrong direction, so she still her heart and tried to pull out the knife to stab the man again.
