Mineah felt so much relief at what she just heard from Tarah that she was frantically running back to Nikolai before she even knew what was happening. She was just so giddy that she couldn’t even control herself anymore with how happy she was.

[Lai, come here,] she called her husband through their bond.

At her request, Nikolai appeared before her in a snap, catching her in his arms as he suddenly popped up behind her.

"You were running?" Nikolai asked as they practically twirled each other in the hallway with his arms currently wrapped around her waist.

Instead of replying, Mineah simply smiled seductively at him before instinctively snaking her arms around his neck.

"I have some good news," she told him with a smile. "Can you transport us to my bedchamber?"

Nikolai chuckled. "Right away, Mine."

At her request, Nikolai transported them inside her old bedchamber with a flick of a wrist. Thankfully, it looked clean and ready to be used. Then again, her mother did say that they would always keep hers and Xenia’s rooms clean and tidy just in case they wanted to return home and use their old rooms.

"I haven’t had the privilege of being inside your bedchamber here..." Nikolai hummed as he looked around. "It looks... pleasant."

"There’s nothing much in it though," she replied with a soft grin. "It’s also a bit smaller than the private room I have in the adjacent private bedchamber you gave me back in Valcrez."

The two of them casually looked around the old room. Eventually, however, the fact that they were alone caught up to them as the tension between them began to permeate the room.

"Come here," Nikolai suddenly told her as he sat on the edge of her bed.

Simply smiling, Mineah followed, and she chuckled when she then felt her husband making her sit on his lap. His hands on her hips, she already felt the familiar heat pooling within her as he began giving her all the attention she needed.

"Alright. Now that we’re here, what is it that you wanted to tell me?" he attentively asked as he started showering her shoulder blades with kisses. "What is this good news that you speak of?"

"Well, I visited Tarah in her bedchamber a while ago," she began. "I asked her a few questions, and she told me that it’s not you that I have to kill, but Vulcan!"

From there, she explained everything else that she learned to him. While the vision she got wasn’t detailed, it was still a form of good news to be had.

"So all we have to do is have you kill Vulcan then," Nikolai scoffed into her skin as he nibbled on the skin of her neck. "We do that, then you’ll be rid of that dagger forever."

Mineah could only nod as she let out a needy moan. She couldn’t help the clouding emotions rapidly filling her head. The fact that she now had a solution to her fertility problem was bringing her so much joy. Combined with her love for Nikolai, and the current lust and passion building up within her, her thoughts were filled with nothing but hope and want as she turned around to give Nikolai a deep and loving kiss.

"It’s as straightforward as that," she whispered into his lips, her own body burning hotter as she felt her fluids begin leaking out of her lower half. "However, we can do all the planning later. Right now, we have more important things to do."

"I couldn’t agree more, Mine..."

Taking her cue, Nikolai cupped her cheeks to greedily kiss her back, his shaft stiffening rapidly underneath his trousers as she ground her hips against his groin. She could already feel his hardness rubbing up against her, and she couldn’t help but want it all to herself as she moved her hands to get rid of some of the clothes preventing their skin from touching.

With nothing but their passionate moans and grunts, the two of them began to undress, their lips still locked into a kiss even as their hands began to roam each other’s bodies. Nikolai played with her mounds, his fingers gently pinching her stiff peaks while Mineah’s hands felt for her husband’s glistening muscles, her heart hammering as she felt his lips leave hers only for them to start peppering her neck before moving down towards her breasts.

Meanwhile, their cores were already rubbing up against one another, his hard shaft all but ready to pierce her weeping slit as they both positioned themselves on top of one another.

"G-Go ahead," Mineah moaned in anticipation as Nikolai’s hands and lips continued their assault. "I’m more than ready..."

With nothing but a grunt and a nod, Nikolai did exactly that. Once more, they shared a deep kiss as they became connected once more, their bodies burning with passion as they began moving their hips in sync with one another. No words were shared as they let their actions do the talking, their love for one another manifesting in thousands of kisses and caresses as they both made their way to the peak that they ever so wanted for one another.

"I’m close," she panted, her skin flushed with sweat as she stared deeply into Nikolai’s eyes.

"Together then..." he grunted back.

Once more, their lips met, and their bodies shook as they moaned into each other’s mouths. Mineah almost screamed as she felt her insides being coated by Nikolai’s seed, her inner walls squeezing him tightly as her climax left her shaking and satisfied.

"That was... That was faster than expected," she chuckled.

"We both needed a release, I suppose," he chuckled back. "But just because we both peaked quickly doesn’t mean we’re done for the night."

"On that, I agree," Mineah grinned as she kissed him yet again. "It’s been a long time since my bed has seen some use. Let’s make it count, shall we?"

From there, the two made love long into the night. She couldn’t really remember much of what happened next, but she at least knew for a fact that the lack of sleep was all worth it in the end.
