Chapter 63: Chapter 63 Daddy Must Not Hit Yinyin

A flicker of guilt passed through her round eyes as her rosy lips pressed tightly together, suddenly remembering how she had defaced and crumpled up a photo of her father and Lin Man the night before.

Thinking about it, Qin Yinyin felt a bit scared.

Father... surely he wouldn’t hit her over a single photo, would he?

The little one looked at Bo Yunshen, her heart still thumping with residual fear.

Instinctively, she reached out and eagerly served Bo Yunshen a piece of egg pancake, tentatively asking, "Dad, is breakfast good?"

Bo Yunshen responded with a faint glance at Qin Yinyin.

He looked down at the pancake she had served him, his brow tightly furrowed.

Being an extreme germaphobe, despite his stoic expression, Bo Yunshen’s dark eyes quickly flashed with a hint of disgust when Qin Yinyin used her chopsticks to serve him.

Undeniably, the "bastard’s" breakfast was quite decent, but why should he praise Qin Yan’s daughter?

Wasn’t cleaning up their messes enough?

Hmph! He hadn’t seen the "bastard" or Qin Yan ever praise him!

Moreover, that ungrateful woman Qin Yan had even earned him a "good reputation" at the hospital last night!

Lost in his thoughts, he unconsciously took a bite of the pancake; the finely chopped green peppers perfectly masked the eggy smell, and combined with the mushy texture of the broccoli, Bo Yunshen hadn’t expected the unappealing-looking pancake to actually taste so good, especially when eaten with porridge.

Seeing Bo Yunshen take a bite, Qin Yinyin’s fluffy head leaned in closer, her eyes carrying a bit of hope, "How is it, Dad? Is it good?"

Caught off guard, Bo Yunshen’s handsome face tensed up and he snorted coldly upon her sudden proximity.

Qin Yinyin felt quite nervous about Bo Yunshen’s reaction. She grabbed a rice ball, took a bite, blinked her lashes, and looked at Bo Yunshen puzzled.

It’s tasty!

Could it be that Dad doesn’t like shrimp and eggs?

Why are the reactions of Dad and Mom so different? Mom not only kissed her after eating the breakfast she made but also praised her, but Dad...

"Dad, don’t you like the breakfast Yinyin made?"

Qin Yinyin asked again, and Bo Yunshen felt that Qin Yan’s daughter was really annoying, changing the way she asked the same question a hundred times, making it seem like she wouldn’t stop until he answered.

Not one to lie and not wanting to let the "bastard" and Qin Yan feel proud, Bo Yunshen reluctantly nodded, giving Qin Yinyin an ambiguous answer, "It’s alright."

Holding back her concerns, Qin Yinyin only saw Bo Yunshen nodding, completely disregarding the latter part of his response.

She bit her lower lip and earnestly asked, "If it’s good, Dad, can you promise Yinyin something?"

Bo Yunshen sneered internally, sensing the trap as she baited him for an answer.

A three-year-old child, what does she know?

It must be that despicable Qin Yan teaching her to ask for promises.

Bo Yunshen harbored a hint of indignation but, feeling obligated as he was eating her food, he looked at Qin Yinyin with a gloomy gaze and uttered, "What is it?"

Qin Yinyin counted her fingers and then lowered her head, speaking softly, "Yinyin is young and doesn’t understand much. If I make a mistake, please don’t hit Yinyin."

As she spoke, she occasionally looked up at him as if she was terribly afraid he would refuse.

Bo Yunshen furrowed his brow, Is that all?

He touched his delicately chiseled chin, thinking to himself, could the bastard be intimidated by these photographs and trophies?

Did he look like someone who would hit children?

Bo Yunshen gave a dismissive smile, as he not only did not hit children, but he also wouldn’t lay a finger on women! Otherwise, considering the incident when Qin Yan drove Manman away, it was enough torment for her, and he had let it go for so many years?

Ridiculous!

But considering Qin Yinyin’s endless questions, Bo Yunshen thought it might be good to give the bastard a little fear, it was better than her incessant questioning about everything!

He certainly didn’t have the leisure to discuss such trivial matters with Qin Yan’s daughter.

Casting a casual glance at Qin Yinyin’s porcelain-white little face, his tone slowed as he said, "We’ll see."

He sat in the main seat, back against the sunlight, his eyes obscured by long lashes, making it difficult to discern his mood. Instead, there was a sort of indescribable gloom. From Qin Yinyin’s perspective, he seemed quite unhappy.

The little one’s lips moved, but ultimately, she remained silent.

When Bo Yunshen looked at Qin Yinyin, he noticed from the corner of his eye that the porridge in her bowl hadn’t decreased. He pressed his brow and said, "Hurry up with your meal. I’ll have Aunt Chen take you to school soon!"

With that, he made a motion to take out his phone.

"Daddy, did you forget? Today is Saturday; I don’t have school!" After saying this, Qin Yinyin peered at Bo Yunshen’s face and timidly added, "And also..."

Bo Yunshen’s hand, which was holding the phone, paused, and he tapped the phone twice on the table.

He had remembered last night that today was Saturday, but had forgotten after a night’s sleep, wasn’t this also thanks to Qin Yan and the bastard?

His eyebrows tensed for a moment, and he gulped down the porridge before asking Qin Yinyin, "And what?"

"Daddy, we haven’t resolved yesterday’s issue yet. The teacher said that if the parents don’t come to school on Monday, they don’t want me back at school ever again."

Qin Yinyin was still concerned that Bo Yunshen hadn’t explicitly promised not to hit her. Worried that he might not think her a good child, she nervously twined her pale little fingers together and slowly repeated her teacher’s statement.

Her head still bore a wound, making her look particularly wronged and pitiful.

Bo Yunshen cursed inwardly.

Shit!

What did the bastard mean by this?

Was he expected to meet her teacher at school?

Was Qin Yan an imbecile? Sending her to that kind of school?

The bastard was only three years old, they had already taken responsibility for any wrongdoing, and now they deny her schooling just like that?

Bo Yunshen’s anger surged rapidly, then he suddenly realized.

Wait!

The bastard wasn’t his child, why should he take what the bastard said personally?

Now that Qin Yan had been found, why should he worry about this troublesome kid!?

He couldn’t believe it, Qin Yan had merely passed out from exhaustion, she wasn’t dead. Couldn’t she take the bastard to school on Monday herself?

Even if she truly couldn’t go to school, it should be Qin Yan, that damned woman’s headache, not his concern!

Bo Yunshen’s face relaxed a bit, before he could speak, his phone placed on the dining table rang, his attention diverted as he glanced at the screen.
