Chapter 356: Chapter 356: Enough to Buy All the Bone Marrow in Your Body!
Upon hearing Mrs. Bo’s words, she pinched the corner of the document and casually flipped through it.
The contents were listed conspicuously.
It was even explicitly noted that Qin Yinyin was not Bo Yunshen’s biological daughter, and that under no circumstances would she have any rights to inherit the Bo Group!
After the divorce, Qin Yan would not, under any pretext or in any location, disturb Bo Yunshen’s life!
Though labeled as a divorce agreement, to be honest, it felt more humiliating, almost like an ancient repudiation letter.
As the woman in this relationship, she had absolutely no rights at all.
Qin Yan suddenly laughed. In their three years of marriage, it was the first time she openly clashed with Mrs. Bo: "Mom, you really think the world revolves around the Bo Family, don’t you?"
Mrs. Bo’s eyes widened instantly, "Five percent of Bo Group shares are enough to buy every ounce of your bone marrow!"
"It’s even enough to buy you for several lifetimes without breaking a sweat. If I were you, I’d sign without hesitation!"
"Qin Yan, I advise you not to be too greedy, or else I won’t be so kind in the future!"
Qin Yan smiled and waved the divorce agreement she held, asking softly, "Mom, does Dad know about this document?"
A fleeting look of guilt flashed in Mrs. Bo’s eyes: "Of course he knows. What, you think he likes you that much?"
"Qin Yan, no matter what, in Yuanshan’s heart, you’ll never be as important as Yunshen!"
"Is that so?"
Qin Yan wasn’t in a hurry. She fished out her phone from her pocket. "Then I’ll call Dad to confirm. If this document truly has even a hint of his intent, I’ll sign it immediately!"
Mrs. Bo panicked.
She didn’t matter much, but Bo Yuanshan had said that if divorce was to happen, it could only happen if Bo Yunshen left the Bo Family!
"Wait a moment!"
Mrs. Bo shouted. Qin Yan handed the document back to her. "Mom, take this document back, or tomorrow I’ll directly send it to Dad and see what he says."
A buzzing roar echoed in Mrs. Bo’s ears. She glared at Qin Yan with hatred. "You’re threatening me?!"
"Qin Yan, isn’t it clear you just want to scheme for my Bo Family’s fortune?"
"Do you believe—do you believe I’ll have Yuanshan draft a will tomorrow? If anything happens to Yunshen, all of Bo Group’s shares will be donated to charity under Yunshen’s name!"
"I’ll make sure you can’t touch a single strand!"
"No matter. Do whatever makes you happy! But these matters concern you and Dad; they have nothing to do with me, Mom. There’s no need to tell me!"
With those words, Qin Yan turned and walked straight back to the hospital room.
When she arrived, Qin Yinyin was still clinging to Bo Yunshen, pestering him to help her find Mom.
Bo Yunshen didn’t show any intention of moving.
A table full of dishes, and he’d eaten most of them, even drinking a bowl of porridge.
He showed no concern at all about whatever was discussed between Mrs. Bo and Qin Yan.
"Daddy, let’s go find Mommy, okay? Grandma is super mean!"
His mom was mean?
He didn’t recall his mom ever losing her temper with Qin Yinyin.
The most she’d done was have a few arguments with Qin Yan.
So where did this ’super mean’ claim come from?
Qin Yan was so arrogant, probably the only person in the entire family who could keep her in check was his mom!
A little pushback wouldn’t hurt her either!
Bo Yunshen stretched out his hand to gently shove Qin Yinyin, who was sprawling all over him. "If you want to go, go by yourself. I need to eat!"
"Daddy, didn’t you say Mommy’s cooking isn’t good?"
"You’re almost done eating, but Mommy hasn’t even had a bite yet!"
The chewing motion of Bo Yunshen’s mouth paused as he nibbled on a bamboo shoot. He slightly lowered his lashes, and out of the corner of his eye, he saw Qin Yan standing at the doorway of the sickroom, who knows for how long.
His brows immediately shadowed with a storm cloud.
"Director Qin, you’re so intrigued by my conversations with kids that you’re eavesdropping now?"
Qin Yan chuckled lightly. "Mutual, mutual!"
Bo Yunshen choked at her words, knowing Qin Yan was using this to mock the time he’d listened in on her conversation with Qin Yinyin.
Qin Yan, wearing five-centimeter-high heels, strolled in lazily, her sleeves rolled up, exposing fair and spotless arms.
Bo Yunshen’s eyes darkened slightly.
The table’s contents had been mostly devoured. After her conversation with Mrs. Bo, Qin Yan had lost her appetite. She began collecting the bowls and dishes instead.
"Where’s my mom? So you’re the only one who came back?"
Qin Yan didn’t look up. "I’m not too sure. I guess she went home."
Bo Yunshen was skeptical.
Their chat seemed to have been far too short, and Mrs. Bo hadn’t come back with her. Bo Yunshen’s gaze grew darker; he stared intently at Qin Yan and asked quietly:
"What did my mom say to you?"
Qin Yan suddenly laughed.
"Yunshen, it’s nothing you’d want to hear."
"Hmm?" He blinked. "Speak clearly!"
Qin Yan stopped cleaning up the dishes. She pulled out a chair and sat down, speaking softly: "Your mom came earlier to criticize me for not taking good care of you."
"You’re badmouthing my mom now?"
"Or are you, Director Qin, trying to say my mom mistreats her daughter-in-law?"
Qin Yan sighed. "Yunshen, you told me to say it. And now that I have, you’re accusing me of ’criticizing’ her."
"You know full well I was only stating the truth."
He didn’t know!
Bo Yunshen sneered coldly.
Qin Yan was full of questionable motives; God only knows whose faults she might expose!
Compared to Qin Yan, his mom was practically the epitome of innocence, kindness, gentleness, and virtue!
Bo Yunshen’s jet-black pupils shifted slightly, landing icily on Qin Yan.
"Anything else?"
Glancing to the side, seeing Qin Yinyin engrossed elsewhere and unaware of their discussion, Qin Yan let a sarcastic smirk surface. "She also brought a divorce agreement, demanding that I sign it."
"All the clauses revolved around you, Yunshen—requiring me to ensure that I don’t disturb, don’t entangle, and remain ready to donate bone marrow at any time."
Bo Yunshen’s breathing grew heavier.
Qin Yan continued: "But your mom did promise that as long as I signed the agreement, she’d give me five percent of Bo Group’s shares!"
Bo Yunshen’s gaze immediately snapped back to her, icy and intense, glaring at Qin Yan’s face as though he could bore flowers straight out of it.
"Did you sign it?"
When she returned, there was no document in her hands.
There was only one possibility left—Qin Yan had quietly signed it without informing him.
Five percent of Bo Group’s shares.
It was indeed a significant lure, enough for Qin Yan to live extravagantly for a lifetime, along with that little brat!
It could even let Qin Yan and Lu Yi flee far away and live blissfully together!
Qin Yan’s indifferent gaze shifted to meet his. Her smile was cool and serene: "Yunshen, from the way you’re talking, it sounds like you don’t want me to sign!"
"What’s wrong? Can’t bear to divorce me?"
At that, Bo Yunshen seemed to hear the funniest joke in the world. He replied coldly: "Of course not!"
"Giving you five percent of Bo Group’s shares is such a waste!"
"You, Qin Yan, think you deserve to take any shares from me? I told you long ago, don’t even dream about taking a single penny from me!"
