"Since you’re so tired, take a day off." Bo Jingyan casually suggested while holding her.

Xia Qingtian insisted, "No way, the company just went public yesterday. There’s a lot of work to do today."

She was already very busy before the company went public, and she had always thought that things would be better once it was officially listed. But she discovered that it was all a sham, just like when her teachers had told her that college would be easy and she wouldn’t have to work anymore.

Bo Jingyan expressed some regret. "Seeing you work so hard, I sometimes regret giving this entertainment company to you."

Upon hearing this, Xia Qingtian’s hand, which was in the midst of handling work, hesitated involuntarily. The image of Bo Jingyan flashed in her mind, but she quickly shook it off.

She had just parted from Bo Jingyan. If he had something to discuss, he would have mentioned it before they separated or simply called her. There was no need to come to the company.

Reflecting on this, she guessed that it really was Mr. Sun’s assistant visiting.

Xia Qingtian put her thoughts aside and nodded at her assistant. "Please let him in."

Soon, a man entered the room.

Out of courtesy, Xia Qingtian lifted her head to look at the visitor. The moment she saw his face, her expression, which was previously disinterested, froze. The face in front of her was both familiar and unfamiliar.

It was unfamiliar because it was not Bo Jingyan’s face. Yet, it was also familiar because she had just seen it yesterday – they had taken a photo together, and he had even embraced her in the presidential suite of the hotel.

After dismissing her assistant, she stared wide-eyed at Bo Jingyan, who had completely changed his appearance. With a note of surprise, she asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Aren’t you very busy?" Bo Jingyan began, "Until all your work is sorted out, I will act as your assistant."

"Why?" Xia Qingtian was staring blankly at him.

Bo Jingyan went to her side, massaged her shoulders, and said, "Because I care about you. You can’t finish your work, and you can’t rest well. I can’t let you give up your hard-won career, so I have to assist you."

Xia Qingtian couldn’t deny that she was moved by his action.

"Jingyan, you are so nice." She said, teary-eyed.

Bo Jingyan didn’t reply, but unexpectedly leaned down and shared a kiss with her. After that, he began to carry out his duties as an assistant responsibly.
