Xia Qingtian cleared her throat before speaking irritably, "Okay, we’re even now! Don’t ask me those strange questions anymore."

However, Bo Jingyan had a different opinion.

With a mischievous grin on his face, he asked Xia Qingtian, "Who said we’re even?"

Xia Qingtian became anxious upon hearing his unwillingness to admit it.

Ignoring her aching body, she abruptly sat up from the bed, pulled the quilt down a bit, exposing her delicate collarbone and the snow-white swan-neck.

And the marks on her neck.

"Look what you’ve done. You answered my question, I’ve been so roughed up by you that I can barely move, and you dare not admit it!" Xia Qingtian pointed to the red marks on herself, with bitterness in her voice.

Bo Jingyan stepped forward, put his arms around her waist and gently massaged it.

Xia Qingtian involuntarily let out a comfortable sigh, then glared at Bo Jingyan, reminding him, "Don’t think you can get away with this."

Bo Jingyan chuckled, "I didn’t agree, I never said that I owe you anything!"

"If you didn’t agree, then why did you...." Xia Qingtian blushed as she thought of what had happened.

Bo Jingyan whispered something naughty into her ear with a wicked grin, "Oh, you were the one who initiated it. A meal served on a platter, why wouldn’t I eat it? From beginning to end, I never agreed to a trade-off!"

Xia Qingtian took a moment to think and realized that he was right.

She had kissed him to shut him up and things spiraled out of control from there, but Bo Jingyan indeed had never made any promises.

Everything was just her assuming too much.

Upon realizing this, Xia Qingtian was fuming.

In the end, she was too frustrated and bit Bo Jingyan, grinding her teeth for good measure.

She thought it was punishment but unexpectedly...

Bo Jingyan groaned and his breathing quickened.

His voice was hoarse and hot as he warned her, "You’re already exhausted, don’t provoke me. I don’t want you to pass out from fatigue."

Xia Qingtian suddenly realized something.

She quickly let go, looking at Bo Jingyan in shock, "Are you some kind of animal? You’ve already had me so many times, and you still want more?"

Bo Jingyan gazed at her intensely, "I can never get enough of you!"

Goosebumps appeared on Xia Qingtian’s arm.

Because she realized, Bo Jingyan wasn’t joking, he was serious.

Trembling, she looked at him pitifully, "Please, I’m really tired!"

"I know!" Bo Jingyan tried to pacify her, "That’s why I’m telling you to behave."

Xia Qingtian saw that she couldn’t outwit Bo Jingyan and was afraid that he might pressure her into answering a question she didn’t know how to answer. So she decided to play the fool.

Like a child, she rolled around on the bed, insisting stubbornly, "I don’t care, I don’t care, we’re now even, do you hear?"

She even kicked Bo Jingyan after saying that.

Seeing her like this, Bo Jingyan was about to say something, trying not to laugh.

Fearing he would disagree, Xia Qingtian immediately covered his mouth, "Don’t say anything."

Bo Jingyan signaled her with his eyes, how could he agree without speaking?

Xia Qingtian thought he had a point, but she had been tricked by this devilish man too many times to fall for it again.

But this time, she was smarter. Instead of letting go of him, she said, "If you agree that we’re even, then nod, and if you disagree, shake your head."

Bo Jingyan kept his gaze fixed on her. In front of her anxious eyes, he slowly nodded.

Xia Qingtian breathed out a sigh of relief and let go of his mouth, "Why are you so agreeable?"

"Who dares to disobey the wife? Especially when you’re acting so unreasonable!" there was a hint of helplessness in Bo Jingyan’s voice.

Upon hearing this, Xia Qingtian had a sudden thought, "So, as long as I act unreasonable and roll around, you will agree to everything?"

Bo Jingyan thought seriously for a moment, "As long as it doesn’t go against my principles, I’ll consider it."

"And what are your principles?" Xia Qingtian further inquired.

"Well, my principle is..." Bo Jingyan stared at her intensely, "You must always stay by my side and never leave me!"

"Apart from that, you’ll agree to everything else?" Xia Qingtian wanted to confirm.

"Yes." Bo Jingyan nodded.

Xia Qingtian immediately collapsed on the bed, feeling a sense of despair.

She felt utterly cheated. Had she known that all she had to do was act up and throw a tantrum in bed to avoid all troubles, she wouldn’t have indulged herself in the first place.

Now her waist was sore.

She was on the verge of despair!

"Alright, stop looking so unhappy. I won’t ask you that question anymore." Bo Jingyan mercifully declared.

Xia Qingtian grunted twice as a response.

"Are you hungry?" Bo Jingyan asked her.

When he asked, Xia Qingtian didn’t feel it, but hearing the question made her stomach growl and feel hollow.

The noodles she had eaten in the morning had been burned off through their numerous exercises.

"Yeah, I’m hungry," she agreed, nodding her head pitifully.

Upon seeing this, Bo Jingyan put on a clean set of clothes, leaned down to kiss her forehead, and said, "Alright, wait a bit. I’ll go make you something to eat."

"Okay," Xia Qingtian nodded.

And so, Bo Jingyan went out to prepare her food.

She hadn’t slept much the night before and had woken up early in the morning, then been worn out by Bo Jingyan. Her energy was long drained, and she was too tired to stay awake.

Bo Jingyan hadn’t been gone long before she lost consciousness, falling into a heavy sleep.

When she woke up again, it was because of an enticing smell of food.

She had been a bit hungry before, but now she was starving.

Clutching her starved stomach, Xia Qingtian followed the smell out of the bedroom. The delicious smell became even more intense after she left her room.

Arriving in the kitchen, she found Bo Jingyan wearing an apron around his waist, with his shirt sleeves rolled up, holding a spatula, cooking. The enticing smell was coming from the kitchen.
