Xia Qingtian, a cunning smile on her face, tiptoed up to Bo Jingyan’s ear and shared her thoughts.

"Stop making me wait. And, in return, we won’t let your mother and Shi Qian know that we’re back together. What do you think?" She looked excited about her plan.

Bo Jingyan remained silent, not uttering a word.

He seemed to be contemplating the feasibility of her plan.

Xia Qingtian continued, becoming more assertive, "The reason you’re hesitating now is mainly due to worry, right? You’re worried about your mom and Shi Qian knowing and reacting negatively, correct?"

"Yes.." Bo Jingyan answered quietly.

Xia Qingtian continued, "Well, case closed? As long as we don’t tell them, they won’t know. Everything else can remain as it is. The only difference will be, we can carry on dating."

Truthfully, her words had a fatal allure for Bo Jingyan.

If he wasn’t worried about Xia Qingtian getting hurt, he would have readily and unhesitatingly consented.

He voiced his hesitation, "What if they find out anyway?"

It wasn’t that he was trying to make things difficult. When it came to Xia Qingtian, Bo Jingyan couldn’t simply act according to his personal whims, as he had expressed earlier, the stakes were too high for him.

At this point, Xia Qingtian paused, then her face took on a mischievous glow.

"In case they do find out, we can just stage a fight, break up right before their eyes, that should be enough, right? Let’s give them the drama they want to see." She said, grinningly devilishly.

Upon hearing her words, Bo Jingyan thought it over and a subtle smile began to edge up on his slender lips.

Seeing this reaction, Xia Qingtian knew from her understanding of him that she had successfully persuaded him.

Indeed, Bo Jingyan finally relented in his husky voice, "Fine, I will listen to you!"

Xia Qingtian expressed a touch of blithe arrogance, "You should have listened to me sooner."

His eventual agreement was no surprise to her. Everything was unfolding as per her expectations right from the moment she decided to approach Bo Jingyan. She had planned it all along.

Her earlier insistence on no longer wanting to wait and wanting to reconcile immediately was part of her plan.

She knew that given Bo Jingyan’s personality, he would initially decline due to his concern for her safety. So, she made a seemingly impossible demand, then offered a step back, providing a semblance of a reasonable excuse.

This strategy would leave him with little choice but to agree.

Xia Qingtian touched her red lips and began to speak, "Since we’re now back together, I am your girlfriend. Now, you can kiss your....."

Before she could finish, Bo Jingyan’s hand held her skull, the other hand cradled her face, and he passionately kissed her.

The kiss was sudden and fiery, leading to their teeth brushing against each other’s lips, introducing a metallic taste into their kiss.

Xia Qingtian felt as if she was being devoured by Bo Jingyan. Initially, she actively matched his rhythm by wrapping her arms around his neck.
