Secondly, she needed a quiet space where she could speak to Bo Jingyan without interruptions, which wouldn’t be possible in Shi Qian’s presence.

Given Shi Qian’s nature, she would surely intervene and stir up trouble.

So, Xia Qingtian had no other choice but to suppress her feelings, lay low and wait patiently for the right opportunity.

Soon enough, her chance arrived.

Upon arriving at the banquet hall, Bo Jingyan mingled with a group of people for a while. Soon after, he grew impatient, shook off Shi Qian’s arm, and disregarding her pitiful appearance, said something to her. He then picked up a glass of wine and walked out of the banquet hall.

Shi Qian refused to accept the situation and wanted to follow him.

Of course, Xia Qingtian wouldn’t give her that chance, as she splashed a glass of wine, conveniently thrown from a distance, onto Shi Qian.

Feeling a sudden chill on her back, Shi Qian turned around only to find that her cream-colored dress was stained with red wine. The dress was not cheap, and she had paid for it out of her own pocket.

She still had plans to wear it to some important functions or parties in the entertainment industry in the future. Now, it had been stained with wine, and she didn’t know if the stains could be removed.

She was absolutely furious.

"Who stained my dress?" She instantly wanted to find the culprit.

Xia Qingtian would not stand idly by waiting to be caught and quickly blended with the crowd, following in the direction that Bo Jingyan had left.

Unable to find the person responsible, Shi Qian didn’t chase after Bo Jingyan either and hurried to deal with the wine stains on her dress.
