Chapter 394: Chapter 394 Everything is in the Plan_1

Xia Qingtian’s gaze flickered.

As the current general manager of the entertainment company and Cheng Bingbing as one of her artists, she couldn’t shirk her responsibilities.

Moreover, looking at this indifferent Bo Jingyan, she needed to seriously think about how she could help him regain his memory and remember her.

With these thoughts in mind, she replied with a deep voice to the person on the other end of the phone, "All right, I’ll be right over."

After saying this, she ended the call and put away her phone.

"Mom..." Xia Qingtian looked at Bo’s mother, "I have to leave for a while. Please take care of Jingyan. I’ll be back as soon as I’m finished."

"Alright." Bo’s mother agreed coolly.

Xia Qingtian took a deep look at Bo Jingyan, suppressing the bitterness in her heart, and then left the hospital for the film crew.

...

Bo Jingyan stood in place, watching Xia Qingtian leave, an inscrutable emotion smoldering in his deep gaze.

"Jingyan..." Bo’s mother called out to him.

It was at this point that Bo Jingyan looked toward his mother.

When he recognized her face, his typically stoic expression instantly revealed a touch of surprise and bewilderment.

Furrowing his brow, he asked her earnestly, "When did you get back?"

Not wanting to answer his question in the presence of several medical staff, Bo’s mother responded, "Let’s go back to the room and talk."

Bo Jingyan concurred, offering no objections.

A medical worker then wheeled him back to his room with Bo’s mother and Shi Qian following.

Watching Bo Jingyan’s retreating figure, Shi Qian felt an array of emotions that belied her expectations. Her initial plan had seemingly failed, but Bo Jingyan had still lost his memory in the end.

It seems even the heavens are on her side.

With these thoughts in mind, she called out to Bo’s mother, "Mom, could you wait a moment...?"

"What is it?" Bo’s mother paused in her steps.

Shi Qian pursed her lips, hesitating before asking, "What will you tell Brother Jingyan about him and Qingtian?"

"I will tell the truth, of course." Bo’s mother responded matter-of-factly.

With these words, Shi Qian felt her heart sink.

Bo’s mother’s response was exactly what she didn’t want to hear. If she were to tell the truth about Xia Qingtian’s good relationship with Bo Jingyan, it might rekindle their feelings and waste this golden opportunity.

No way!

She absolutely cannot allow that to happen.

With these thoughts running through her mind, Shi Qian took Bo’s mother’s arm, "Mom, I need to talk to you about something important."

As she spoke, she pulled Bo’s mother into a secluded corner where they could talk privately.

"What’s wrong?" Seeing the serious look on Shi Qian’s face, Bo’s mother instantly became concerned.

Shi Qian took a deep breath and said slowly, "You don’t like Xia Qingtian, do you? Now that Brother Jingyan has lost his memory of the past three years, including everything about her, this is the best chance to separate them."

"You are his mother, and he will undoubtedly trust whatever you say."

A flicker of discomfort crossed Bo’s mother’s modest face. "Are you asking me to lie to Jingyan?"

Seeing her growing discomfort, Shi Qian quickly tried to explain, "Mom, you’re misunderstanding me. I’m not asking you to lie, I’m asking you to tell Jingyan about all the disgusting things that Xia Qingtian has done."

"For example, she’s responsible for grandfather’s death, she’s promiscuous, she lured Jingyan’s closest friend, involved him in a love triangle, she’s been fooling around with other men, and she even had him raise someone else’s child."

"All of these are true, aren’t they?"

With every incident Shi Qian mentioned, the expression on Bo’s mother’s face grew colder and colder.

Seeing this, Shi Qian became hopeful that her words were taking effect.

"Mom, you’re doing this for Jingyan’s own good. Even if he remembers everything later, he will be grateful to you." Shi Qian said softly, trying to persuade her.

Hearing these words, Bo’s mother’s gaze hardened with resolve.

"You’re right." She accepted Shi Qian’s suggestion.

A gleam of thrill flashed in Shi Qian’s eyes as she hastily led Bo’s mother to Bo Jingyan’s room.

Before Bo Jingyan could say anything, Bo’s mother took the lead.

"I’ve been back for a few months," she said slowly, "I know you’ve lost three years of memories, let me fill you in briefly."

Without waiting for a response, she began to recount everything she knew, with Xia Qingtian being the focal point.

Following Shi Qian’s instruction, she went into detail about the appalling things Xia Qingtian had done after their marriage.

"You’re saying grandfather..." Bo Jingyan’s voice choked as he asked, "he’s gone?"

Thinking of the old master, a hint of sadness flashed across Bo’s mother’s eyes.

"Yes," she said gravely, "and it was Xia Qingtian who caused his death."

A momentary flare of pain shot through Bo Jingyan’s normally indifferent eyes— the old master, who seemed robust enough to keep him company for many more years, had passed away already.

After a painful hesitation, he finally mustered a hoarse voice, "I’ve heard everything you said. You can leave now. I need some time alone."

"Alright, please take some rest." Bo’s mother nodded and left with Shi Qian.

Soon, Bo Jingyan was left alone in the room.

Thinking about what his mother had just told him, and recalling the vulnerability and pain in Xia Qingtian’s eyes when she found out about his amnesia, he began to contemplate in silence.

He took out his phone, dialed a number, and made a request.

"Jian Xuan, I need you to look into something for me!"

...

Shi Qian and Bo’s mother returned to their old home.

The thought that Bo Jingyan had indeed lost his memory and that Bo’s mother had spoken ill of Xia Qingtian in front of him as per her instructions sent her into bouts of excitement, making her tremble uncontrollably.

Overcome with joy, she jumped onto her bed and curled up, giggling to herself.

Suddenly, her phone rang.

Upon checking the screen, she saw an incoming call from Shen Junru.

Puzzled, she answered the call. Without waiting for her to say anything, Shen Junru asked, "So? You’ve got what you wished for now. Are you happy?"

"Of course." Not bothering to hide her excitement from Shen Junru, Shi Qian added, "Junjun, you are really well-informed. You already know about Brother Jingyan losing his memory."

She thought Shen Junru had found out about it by enquiring here and there.

Shen Junru chuckled and said frankly, "I’m not well-informed. I arranged all of this. Everything that is happening now is under my control."

"How... how can that be?" Shi Qian asked, a look of shock spreading across her face.

Wasn’t all of this happening because she had been blessed by the heavens, making her heartfelt desires a reality?

What does this have to do with Shen Junru?
