Before Xia Qingtian left, the director specially came to the hospital to visit her.

After all, the film crew needed to bear some of the responsibility for the incident that happened to her this time.

To persuade her not to press charges, the director offered her several good resources.

"If I say that I had just come out of the shower and she hugged me, that I was about to push her away when you came in, would you believe me?" Bo Jingyan did not glance at Shi Qian, but just silently watched Xia Qingtian, making it hard to guess his thoughts.

This sounded just like a philandering man trying to shirk responsibility.

Yet Xia Qingtian curled her lips, went over to Bo Jingyan, and said, "I believe you!!!"

After everything she and Bo Jingyan had been through, how could she not believe him?

Hearing this, Bo Jingyan couldn’t help but curl up his lips, a trace of joy flashing across his eyes. Clearly, Xia Qingtian’s upfront trust was very satisfying to him.

"Go back to your rest room and dress properly," Xia Qingtian slapped his abs, urging him on.

"Okay." Bo Jingyan agreeably turned around and headed into the restroom within his office, closing the door behind him.

Only Xia Qingtian and Shi Qian were left in the office.

Shi Qian raised her head, her eyes rimmed with red, looking innocently at her, "I’m sorry, Sister Xia Qingtian, I didn’t mean to..."

Before she could finish, Xia Qingtian interrupted her.

"You were hugging someone’s husband tightly, your face was full of lust..." She sarcastically said to Shi Qian, "And now you’re playing innocent. It’s so fake and green tea."

"I didn’t!" Shi Qian shook her head pitifully.

Xia Qingtian sneered, "Save it, your act is just nauseating. You say you didn’t, didn’t do what? Didn’t seduce Bo Jingyan, the two of you are in love?"

"I’ll call Bo Jingyan out right now, confront him face to face; if it wasn’t you deliberately seducing him, but rather it’s mutual consent, then I’ll step aside and let you have him. I’ll never stand in your way. But do you dare to confront him?"

Shi Qian didn’t respond, but simply silently dropped tears, making one pity her.
