Chapter 557: Chapter 536: Which Eye of Yours Saw Us Not in Love?

Theo Scott wore a light blue shirt, white trousers, and walked forth whilst holding a white suit that matched his trousers. Two men followed behind him. Their presence in this leisure spot made it clear they were here for business meetings or site inspections.

Sienna Harrison lifted her head to glance at Jaysen Smith only to find the man glowering at the person across from him. His expression was severe and his aura had a distinct "not to be trifucked with" vibe.

Sienna’s heart fluttered, then she raised her eyes to meet Theo Scott’s gaze which was fixed on her. She smiled brightly, "I’ve decided to take a stroll with my husband and happen to run into you, CEO Scott. How peculiar, isn’t it?"

Theo frowned, his gaze landing heavily on Sienna’s clear and beautiful eyes. Her lashes, usually so bright and lively, were clumped together, and the corners of her eyes were slightly red and swollen. It was apparent she had been crying. Sienna had beautiful eyes, but the downside of their beauty was they would remain swollen and red for quite a while after crying, requiring medication to reduce the swelling. Thus, this woman did not cry easily.

Currently, however, Sienna seemed to clearly have been crying. As his gaze moved downward, he noted she was wearing a man’s shirt and didn’t have shoes on. Add Jayson’s gloomy look to the mix and it was clear what had transpired.

He turned his head, apologized to the men who followed him, and told them to wait for him in a nearby farmhouse tea shop.

"Madeline, let’s have a chat!"

Theo cast a glance at Jaysen’s gloomy face, then turned his gaze back to Sienna. He spoke with confidence, as if certain she would agree to talk to him.

"I don’t think it’s necessary for us to talk!"

Just as he expected Sienna to agree, the woman looked at Jaysen and then back at Theo before speaking, "If you’ve nothing important to do, CEO Scott, please don’t block our way!"

It seemed as if Theo didn’t hear her. He continued blocking their path, his gaze fixed upon her usually lively eyes. He voiced out his inquiries, "Madeline, he isn’t treating you well, is he?"

The "he" in his sentence referred to Jaysen, the man who was holding her, a fact known to all three of them.

Hearing these words, Sienna laughed and fell into Jaysen’s arms. She looked at Jaysen and a brilliant smile spread across her lips, "Honey, he says you’re not treating me well. Shouldn’t you provide a demonstration?"

Jaysen: "..."

Given that he didn’t even let her walk, how else was he supposed to demonstrate?

"Theo Scott, are you telling me, that after making some money and achieving some success in your career, you think you can rightfully and honorably set your sights on my wife?"

Jaysen kissed Sienna’s forehead and glared at Theo, the man whose eyes hungrily lingered on Jaysen’s wife, "Stop eye-fucking my wife!"

At this, Jaysen’s previously gloomy face turned even darker. His black iris was pervaded by an indescribable ruthlessness. This sudden change of demeanor caused Sienna, who had been dismissive of the situation, to take things seriously. She looked up and noticed that Jaysen’s face had turned angry.

She missed a heartbeat, realizing that even this seemingly gentle man could be terrifying at times!

"Theo Scott, fuck off!"

Sienna, shocked by Jaysen’s expression, immediately scolded Theo. Although she was irritated at Theo, she didn’t want any trouble in this crowded area where the three of them could easily make the headlines.

However, Theo seemed to neither hear her words nor feel obliged to move. He just smirked while looking at her and asked, "Madeline, are you worried about me? Worried that his anger will hurt me?"

Sienna wanted to roll her eyes. Where was he getting his confidence from that she was worried about him?

She was worried for her man, Jaysen, whose current appearance indicated that, he’d be the first to lose when it came to a fight between him and Theo. But how could she express this concern in front of others?

She cared about Jaysen’s face, so naturally, the one who needed to fuck off was the one who was supposed to fuck off.

"Worried about you?" Sienna coldly looked at him, chuckling, "Which eye of yours saw me worrying about you? I’ve already married, and even if I was to cheat, I’d prefer someone single. Why would I choose a second-hand good like you, a married man? What makes you delusionally think that someone like you can still attract me?"

To add on, Sienna said, "Theo Scott, just because you’ve left to start your own business and got a taste of success, do you think you can replace your current hillbilly wife with me, a wealthy lady, to bolster your reputation?"

After saying that, Sienna rested her head against Jaysen’s chest again and wrapped her arms even tighter around his body. The warmth provided by his embrace was her shield against the world, the safeguard of her sanity, which was just what she needed.

"Madeline, I haven’t married yet!"

The casual remark from Theo was a bombshell, leaving both Sienna and Jaysen stunned. What did he mean by he hadn’t married yet?

Sienna’s mind turned blank. Theo was a prideful man who was full of machismo. That was why when they were together, she always trod lightly. Such men are usually despicable but there’s one thing which didn’t reflect upon Theo, and that was lying.

This meant that Theo really hasn’t married yet. Sienna was stunned by this revelation.

After a long moment of silence, Sienna poked her head out from Jaysen’s embrace and asked, "Not married? What was that wedding for then? Please don’t tell me you held a sham wedding to trick people into giving wedding cash gifts for your business. If that’s the case, it would make me regret being faithful to you!"

Theo, having branched out on his own after leaving the company, had become exceptionally successful. Within a few months, he had ascended into the ranks of Andras City’s top twenty wealthiest. His current quick rise was self-evident.

"Madeline, if he doesn’t treat you well, divorce him. I’ll marry you!"

Theo Scott continued to speak as if he didn’t hear what Sienna said, "I know you got married because you were angry at me. Yes, I was horrible to you in the past but it was all because I loved you. I wasn’t worthy of you before, but now I am. Madeline, I know there is no love between you two; it’s simply a marriage of convenience between two wealthy families!"

"No Love?"

Sienna laughed as though she’d heard the biggest joke in the world and a sarcastic smile spread across her lips, "Which eye of yours saw no love between us? Or are you suggesting that, aside from you, no one else can give me love?"
