Chapter 421: Chapter 400: How Can There Be No Sound?

This area was a slum without parking lots. Just a few steps away was the main street. When Oliver Thompson realized that his phone was missing, he was extremely anxious, and he simply threw the car on the street and went to retrieve his phone from the woman.

It was just a short walk before Oliver got into his car. Sitting in the driver’s cab with the seatbelt buckled, the man did not seem to have any intention of driving. Instead, he leaned his head back on the seat and listened carefully to the voice on the other end of the phone.

After the woman had said what she wanted, she stopped talking, but did not hang up the phone. With Oliver’s advanced thinking and sensory system, he could tell that she hadn’t fallen asleep but was holding the phone, ready for battle.

He could also hear the sound of the woman drinking water and the sound of her flipping through fashion magazines. He couldn’t help but picture her holding the phone with her shoulder while her eyes were on the magazine of her liking.

"Ahem!"

Oliver Thompson didn’t speak up but just gave a light cough to remind the woman that she hadn’t spoken in a long time. He was sure that if he didn’t remind her, she would soon forget that she was on the phone.

The familiar sound of coughing made Julie Harrison’s body stiffen, her hand flipping the magazine paused, and she held her breath subconsciously, trying to hear the real voice on the other end of the phone.

Suddenly, Julie Harrison seemed to think of something, her face changed instantly, her previously turbid mind suddenly cleared, and she instantly guessed what the woman on the other end of the phone might be doing.

Julie Harrison connected Amanda Foster’s words and sudden silence. She said Oliver Thompson was showering, and she even asked if he wanted to answer her call. Then, the man said he didn’t want to take her call.

Then there was an argument between the two women, and Julie Harrison realized that Miss Foster, who hadn’t lost in front of her, was so angry that she couldn’t speak.

Since she couldn’t win with words, the woman’s best move was to take action. This was something Julie had experienced before when she and Oliver Thompson appeared together as a couple without any inhibitions.

But now she couldn’t see them, and with her understanding of the vixen, she knew that it must be a live broadcast she wanted her to listen to!

The coincidence of the two being together late at night made Julie Harrison realize that this was indeed the perfect time and situation for them.

That cough just now was clearly from Oliver Thompson. She was too familiar with his voice.

With that thought, Julie Harrison instinctively held her breath, her heart pounding inch by inch, and her naturally dilated pupils began to shrink. After the cough, there should be more sounds, right?

How could rolling in the sheets be silent?

Could it be that the phone was set too far away from the bed, so the sound of undressing couldn’t be heard?

But considering Oliver Thompson’s rudeness towards her that day and his high-performance phone, tearing clothes apart should be heard in a minute, right?!

Why didn’t she hear anything after that cough?

"Ahem!"

Confused, Julie Harrison copied the cough she heard on the other end of the phone and still got no response. The woman finally ran out of patience. They just wanted her to listen to the live broadcast of rolling in the sheets, so what was the point of dragging it out so long? Did they want her to admit defeat and hang up first?

Had it been before, she would have definitely hung up, but not now because she had given up on him!

"Amanda Foster, if you want to let me listen to the live broadcast, hurry up. What’s the point of dragging it out? You two are both rough people, are you planning to do more than an hour of foreplay?"

Recalling how the man had treated her so roughly that night and was now being gentle in front of Cathy, Julie Harrison felt sick and disgusted. The anger in her heart exploded without warning.

"Isn’t it just rolling in the sheets? What are you flaunting? Haven’t I been with him too? Do you really think I won’t hang up? I won’t hang up today. I haven’t seen two people as suited to each other as you two roll around in the sheets. Don’t just let me listen to the live broadcast, show me the video, and I’ll applaud!"

Thinking that this childish method could stimulate her was ridiculous. This cliched plot from movies and novels was laughable for a scheming woman like her to use. With such intelligence, was she not ashamed to show off?

After spending so much time with Ivy Aretha, not only did Julie Harrison’s character change, but her tongue also became much sharper.

When Oliver Thompson heard these words, his handsome face turned completely black. His distinct features tightened like a sculpture. Damn it, who taught her to speak so sharply?!

Could a well-bred lady really say something like that?

It was bad enough to suspect him of sleeping with another woman and calling others names, but she even called herself a dog?!

Good, very good, extremely good!

Oliver Thompson was so angry that his breath became heavy; his chest heaved with rage and annoyance. His breathing grew louder and louder, but to the woman on the other end of the phone, it took on a different meaning.

When she heard the sudden and heavy breathing on the other end of the phone, Julie Harrison’s body stiffened, and her mind paused. Suddenly, it felt like all her strength had been drained.

Did they really roll in the sheets?

Heavy breathing, what would come next? A woman’s coquettish moans?

Just how seductive was that woman? Julie knew better than anyone else. With just one look, there would be enough men lining up for her to form a ten-mile-long street. She had to admit that she could never catch up with her, even after trying hard for ten years.

Subconsciously, Julie Harrison moved the phone away from her ear, her heart filled with a bit of fear, afraid of hearing the sounds of that night when the man did that thing with her.

When her fear struck, Julie Harrison began to pray in her heart that it was just her imagination.

If it was really like that, even in her dreams, she would think that the man was dirty!

She didn’t want to listen; she wanted to hang up. But then she thought, she had been deceiving herself for so many years, and those two scumbags had swallowed up the Harrison family. She should have hated him and wanted to break free!

It was just the lack of catching them in the act that made her so indecisive.

So, she did not want to hang up. She wanted to hear how those two scumbags would finally wake her up!

However, aside from the heavy breathing on the other end of the phone, there was no next step. Finally, she couldn’t take it anymore!

When Oliver Thompson heard what came next, he realized just how civilized the previous "equals dogs" remark had been!
