He was in semi-destroyed chamber. There was a hole in the roof enough to fit him. He probably entered this chamber through that.

Seeing the glass-like surface and his reflection flickering on top while holding a bead, Haoran searched for something to climb onto and found a three meter shelf.

Reaching the edge, he wiped the beads of water on his hand and waited for it to dry, extended it and touched the thing looking like a glass.

His hand passed through felt the heavy pressure of water and when he got retrieved it, it was wet.

A barrier.

Haoran thought. Confirming his suspicions, he jumped down and landed on the sandy ground.

There were orange spongy plants scattered around that one he should have touch seconds ago, red ferns, large rocks, and round objects with cracks.

The size of the room was small as a 40 square feet garage.

Haoran received another prompt.

Haoran walked around and found the exit. He stuck his head out first, trying to see the scenery outside and narrowed his eyes when he saw the lit elliptic beads on the columns on the beams of each room.

There were carvings on top of each tunnel like rooms arranged like in a circular formation similar to the armory and a large pool in the center occupying most of the space, only allowing a narrow path for him to step on.

Haoran bent his head forward but couldn’t see anything in murky dark water of the pool. He lifted his chin.

There was a spiral staircase leading to the second floor.

Thinking Xiao Hua might also be somewhere, he decided to check each room, starting on his left.

He cautiously walked while keeping an eye on the side.

The patio under his feet was looking like bricks and on every square were a five small pattern. Haoran didn’t think much of them and guessed it was for aesthetics.

Peeling his attention from it, he took another step forward and the heel of his cotton padded right shoe touched a pattern, the pattern briefly lit up.

Haoran perked his ears catching the strange hissing noises.

He glanced on his right and quickly dodges the shadow rushing passed his neck and shoulders. He heard the loud ’thuck’ sounds behind him and pebbles and dust flew spread.

Long Haoran turned around and saw four three feet long and four inch wide metal stakes stuck deep onto the wall. If he didn’t dodge them, one could only wonder his fate.

But...it seems the round didn’t end because he heard a loud splash on the water on the pool and something emerged.

Haoran run to his left on instead and the part of the wall and the patio which he was standing a seconds was instantly destroyed.

But what received most of his attention were the red giant crusher and pincer claws.

Being a cook, he knew what sort of creature possessed both of them at the same time.

It was a lobster.

His guess prove to be true because in the next second after failing the first hunt, the predator hiding in the pool revealed itself.

Haoran couldn’t continue his thoughts because another series of attacks bombarded him. But he showed no fear, because if he managed to take this down, Xiao Hua could finish her mission.

The treasury room soon turned into mayhem.

Chunhua shouted on top of her lungs and her voice echoed through but there was no reply. She shouted a couple for times before giving up ’paging’ them. The only sound she captured were water drip, hissing like the one the boiling chicken soup would make, the sizzling akin to meat being barbecued on the grill with its juices flowing out and dribbling on the charcoal.

Her sensitive nose picked the scent of acrid and rotten eggs.

She brought out her water proof flashlight a.k.a. elliptic beads and observed the place she was at.

There icicle shape deposits on the floors and ceiling. The walls were a little bit strange, a part of it was smooth composed of blue and old marvel-like rock, and the other parts had black rocks protruding.

She could also see different colored pearls, shells of clams and snails stuck on the formal forming like a beautiful mural.

She turned around and saw the red light at the end. Chunhua used her vision but only saw a cloud of red blinding light up ahead.

Towards this strangeness, she decided to check it personally.

Because of her super thick heat insulated skin and her azure robe, she didn’t notice the rising of temperature as she gets closer to the end of the tunnel unlike the bangle that began complaining about the unscheduled sauna with hot winds fiercely fanning around.

The bangle: Oh, damn, it’s so hot, Master. I feel like I’ve being smelted.

However, Chunhua didn’t a feel thing. Her skin will forever be at normal temperature.

But the bangle couldn’t take the heat and she had to cover it with ice, ceasing its sauna complaints.

It took 3 full minutes for Chunhua to reach the end of the tunnel.

And when she stepped outside, her gazed solidified on the prompt.

The system labeled the place as the throne room but what Li Chunhua saw was more than 200 meter diameter volcanic crater full of boiling hot lava and there were floating rocks around, hovering 40 meters above the magma.

The bangle words made Chunhua temporarily tear her eyes away from the unli natural heater and used her qi vision to look around and finally saw the main purpose of this trip.

At the center of mini sea of lava approximately about 400 meters away from where she was standing, was a five-meter rock and the trident was stuck in the small pile of lava looking like the Excalibur in the myth.

"So it’s here." Chunhua was glad. After she gets that, Chef Long’s mission will be half done.
