Long Haoran’s face reddened instantly and his heart quickened its pace. He escaped underneath her.

Li Chunhua couldn’t wait to try the clothes on but upon recalling Chef Long’s attire when she was captured, she cancelled the idea and decided to wear it after returning.

All of a sudden, Chef Long got up and her butt plopped on the floor in confusion watching Chef Long sat turning around and faced the wall. "Chef Long, are you all right?"

"I...am..." Long Haoran responded pausing in between and upon remembering something shameful, he pinched the bridge of his nose.

Li Chunhua: Did I sprain Chef Long’s waist from that hug? That must be it.

She should better be careful next time.

Inside an office in the Business Area located in the Wealthy District, a group of Halflings were trembling facing the wrath of their Boss.

"What do you mean that my Brother had been killed and the goods were gone?" A Level 89 Halfling sitting behind the desk and counting on the energy crystals slammed his hand on the table.

The hallfing who brought the news trembled and continued to relay the rest of the report of what happened to slave caravan this morning.

At the end the Boss threw the pipe hitting the Halfling’s head leaving a red mark and bump but the subordinate Halfling didn’t avoid or block it and obediently received the blow.

"Anyway, what about this strange creature you caught?"

Despite, he had bellyful of curses, the Halfling still replied, "Based in the registration records, they encountered the strange creature floating a mile along their regular sailing route."

"Find out who killed him and bring him and his family to me. I see who dares to eat the guts of a Cyclops and decided to target my brother, my business, and stole my goods."

"As for that strange creature, sketch a picture of his appearance and post it in every corner of the three districts." The Boss Halfling gave the order after venting his anger. One can see the Boss Halfling was more concerned about the nymphs rather than his brother’s death.

He had inkling that the attack was somehow connected with this creature. They’ve been in the business for so long. It was the first time an incident happened.

A group of Halfling was sent out and scattered gathering information about the Nymphs who escaped.

After they were gone, another group of Halflings entered, each wearing mage robes made from high-level aquatic monsters, delivering the Boss Halfling important news, "His Majesty Dranax had called you."

The Boss Halfling grumbled cuss under his breath before standing up before standing up and following the mage halflings.

Li Chunhua was deeply bothered by the time limit of Chef Long’s missions. Long Haoran had the same thought. There must be a purpose behind these.

"Do you know about the Thermic Fever?" Long Haoran asked Ron carefully. Detecting the changes in the Uncle Halfling’s face, he surmised that the former must have known a thing or two.

"I do. It’s a mana-related disease that had been targeting..."Old Ron had to put his explanation on hold because someone called his name.

"Old Ron! Old Ron, the child of a single mother living in House no. 405 is in danger from the relapse of the thermic fever." Rita came in with the bad news.

Both Long Haoran and Li Chunhua’s attention were caught.

Old Ron looked at the older nymphs capable of producing the alleviation medicine.

The nymphs playing and talking with the newcomers sensed his gaze and quickly understood.

Three minutes later, Ron stuffed the medicine inside his vest and walked towards Room 405.

Three other Halflings were behind him. One was Rita and the other two were Haoran and Chunhua.

"I learned it from a Long Haired Sister." Li Chunhua said in a low voice when she saw Chef Long pinching his short arms and short legs. The clothes on them were given by Ron and Rita.

With this skill, conducting the missions would be easier.

Not long after, the four of them arrived at the said place.

A woman was crying beside the bed, holding the hand of a Halfling child gasping for air. Her face was flushed, lips cracked and dry, and she kept saying ’I’m thirsty.’

"Old Ron, you’ve come, please help my child."

Rita closed the door and the windows before guarding outside.

Both Long Haoran and Li Chunhua saw the de-buff under the child’s name- [Severe Thermic Fever].

Ron quickly gave the mother the canteen full of the water the nymph made. The mother’s eyes brightened and tremblingly pinched her daughter’s mouth before pouring the water.

The de-buff changed into [Mild Thermic Fever] and the flush on the Child Halfling’s face lessened. She was longer muttering ’Thirst’.

It didn’t cure the sickness?

Both Long Haoran and Li Chunhua looked at each other.

"Please don’t tell anyone about this or we are all going to be in trouble." Ron warned the Mother.

"About that...Ron..." The mother hesitated a little before adding, "The Dean in the hospital is asking about you and waiting for your help. He promised to keep it a secret?"

"You told him?" Ron raised his voice, angered by the mother’s revelation.

"They were so pitiful. I couldn’t watch them die." The mother nodded in guilt.

Ron left the bedroom in anger and went to the living room.

Ron stuffed the canteen back inside his vest. There was a frown in between his brows thinking of the young patients.

The production of the water is only small, so he couldn’t save everyone at all. Additionally with that organization profiting on the nymphs and the disease, they need to be careful with their every movement. The Mother halfling’s decision would pull them into the center of the storm.

Due to the time limit, Long Haoran and Li Chunhua couldn’t dilly dally. They thought they would have answers after following Uncle Ron, but it seems they have to figure the solution in their own.

Long Haoran looked at the direction of the wealthy district, planning to do an investigation.

"We got trouble." The four left from 405 and returned to the nymphs’ shelter. Ron said to Rita which caused the latter to frown heavily.

Long Haoran excused him self and climbed down the resident building. Li Chunhua gave him three bags of energy crystal before asking him to be careful.

"You too." Long Haoran remembered the missions with Xiao Hua’s summons’ lives at stake and bid her a temporary goodbye.

Recalling the water, Li Chunhua asked the nymphs about the matter as soon as she got back and got an unexpected answer.

"I read about it in an ancient text and the only cure is the Blessed Water of Nymph Priestess."

Li Chunhua was stunned and took out a pearl containing the water cuisine. "Are you talking about this?"

The nymphs were also equally stunned, "How did you get this? This much alone could cure 10-20 Thermic Fever Patients."

"From Shi...I mean my friend." Li Chunhua looked at the water cuisines in her inventory.

Li Chunhua quickly told Uncle Ron the good news.

Ron shocked by her claims, went to test the blessed water on the 405’s child and under three pairs of eyes, the child’s complexion turn to normal and she woke up. "Mommy?"

The Mother Halfling was in disbelief and cupped the child’s face and when her temperature was normal, she burst into tears, "Ron, thank you so much."

Li Chunhua saw the de-buff on the child’s screen was gone proving the blessed water was effective.

She was suddenly struck by an idea. Could this Special Realm’s main goal was to let the two species live in harmony together?

No one answered her question.

Ron witnessing the effects of the water decided to head towards the Hospital but not before thanking Li Chunhua. "Thank you so much."

"It’s not me." Li Chunhua waved her hand.

Long Haoran was on the streets walking around the vicinity of the Research Lab watching the guards patrolling around when he heard the system’s message.
