Siri lit the firewood stove and stir fried the marinated meat before peeling and cutting the light blue and red skinned chumpets into thin strips.

He kneaded the dough until it was smooth and elastic before dividing it in small portion to serve as pouches for the Chumpet meat pies.

He flattened the small round dough, placed the stir-fried meat and strips of chumpet. Another flattened dough was placed on top before he pinched the edges to seal the fillings inside.

Then, using a small amount of oil he fried the pies until both sides were golden brown.
