-Firing Cd: 4 seconds. Firing Range: 10 meters. Good for crowded weaker mobs and deals base damage of 35-45 within a 1.5 meters radius upon hit.]

[Small Crossbows (+) (Custom)

-Firing Cd: 3 second. Firing Range: 8 meters. Shoots three arrows and each arrow can cause 30 base physical damage with every direct hit.]

Li Chunhua’s eyes wandered on the choices and stopped on these.

-HP: 1000, Defense: 35. Capacity: 4. Base Damage: 150. Mobile siege facility that is able to assist in conquering territories by destroying the defense wall and territory gates.]

-HP: 2000, Defense: 50, Capacity: 20. A mobile siege facility that is able to assist landowner in deploying troops inside the enemy’s territory.]

The Elf noticed her attention on the two siege structures. Honestly, even if his Master chooses to go that tyrant path of capturing all the territories in this mountain, he didn’t have any objection and would even wholeheartedly support it.

However, Li Chunhua didn’t want walk on that path at all. In war, there is no winner. Both sides will still suffer.

By including these things on the list, the system was clearly hinting her something. Li Chunhua only glanced at them before returning her attention to the unlocked defense facilities.

The + signs indicates upgrades. The defense structures will undergo changes and she can assign attributes to them.

The difference between the tower and mobile dense and siege facility was the former cannot be moved but does not require manual operation, while the latter is the opposite.

She knew the territory population was very small which was troublesome.

But on the bright side, she could take advantage of the CD and two people can operate two weapons at the same time. She just needed to mind about the de-buff of fatigue.

The advantage of upgrades is the damage increased and the physical damages will turned to magic but the cons were the additional cost of mana ore, attribute crystal like the ones she got from the mine, wood, stones, metal blocks and copper coins.

The customization is about increasing range, increasing damage by replacing the materials used as ammunition. For example, she can substitute iron for stones.

Apart from that customization also allows her to increase the weapon’s durability. Every defense facility had a HP points and if it falls below the red line, the system will asks for materials to repair.

She already had magic towers blueprints and mana ores in her inventory but she also needs weapons that can deal physical damage in case monsters with high magic resistance and magic nullification ability will be added in the monster tide.

Li Chunhua shed her carefree attitude and displayed a rare serious countenance after falling into deep thought.

"What do you suggest?" She asked the Elf who was silently looking at her for quite some time now.

"I’ll pick the trebuchet and ballista because of their damage and range. We can build the crossbow and the others on our own. They are much simpler compare to these two." Siri pointed out. They can actually built them all but without a blacksmith to forge some non-wooden parts, it’s currently impossible.

Li Chunhua was also thinking the same but the weapons they build will not be upgradable. She hoped there would be an engineer, architect or blacksmith in the next batch of summoning.

Heavily sighing, Li Chunhua chose the two leaving her with only one facility left.

Li Chunhua directly built 2 on every side and upgraded the range of trebuchet and ballista by another 10 meters with an additional expense of 20 units of woods, 2 metal blocks and 4 silver coins.

Tomorrow, she’ll have someone lure monsters, see its effects, add another on the blind spots and have the residents familiarize it. On the other hand, she’ll need to accumulate lot of stones. The ones in her inventory will not be enough.

Reading her thoughts, Siri spoke, "After their training tomorrow, I’ll conduct a simulated war, to have them adapt to my commands. We may have good weapons and better defense but if the soldiers cannot utilize them well, we’re bound to have huge problem."

Li Chunhua didn’t have any complaints. She also planned to see if she can make talisman and arrays. Both needs special materials, a paper made from peach wood and jades.

This will be helpful for the residents, her food army, and Chef Long’s brother.

The two talked a few more matters until the Elf remembered about the poison materials he obtained this afternoon.

Fortunately the amount the Elf brought was enough to circle the territory but if they wanted to add another layer of these, the Elf would need to fetch some more.

She wanted to added another layer but since it was already night time, she dismissed the idea temporarily.

As for the booby traps, Siri and Li Chunhua returned to main residence. The Elf drew some designs on the papers. Little Mantou, Little Lotus, and Little Ginseng stopped playing tag when saw the two coming and seated beside them and observed the Elf drawing something.

Li Chunhua pinched the corner of the papers and examined the designs in contemplation.

Siri traced the direction of her eyes and explained, "That is known as Punjabi. It might not work with wood since some the monster’s defense might be high but if we used a metal tip and coat it with poison, we may have a chance."

There were many more contraptions like bamboo whip, punji sticks, tiger traps and the mace. Every one of it could reduce their burden.

The three gluttons were tasked to make the necessary parts of the traps to be assembled tomorrow.

Li Chunhua first cut the logs into four and piled them next to gluttons.

The three’s mouth were frowning seeing the huge numbers of wooden poles. This seems a bad deal.

"I’m suddenly thirsty. I how about I drink one more can..." Li Chunhua mumbled causing the three to grabbed one wooden poles and start carving. "Master Don’t! Don’t ever touch the cans!"

Siri finished drawing the other traps. Tomorrow at the earliest, he will give these to Rioli’s group. Next was to extract the poison from the [Jimson Flowers], [Nerim Strychnos Leaves], and [Datura Plant]. Besides from the traps, those stakes in the trenches can be coated with poison too.
