The Billionaire's Cursed Heiress
Chapter 71: A FRENZY FOR WATERMELONS

Chapter 71: Chapter 71: A FRENZY FOR WATERMELONS

It was late, and the team didn’t want Zara to stay out late, so after buying all the watermelons, they had all of them transported to the convoy.

When the uncle seller offloaded everything from the truck, he left happily as he recalled the discussion; he had with Emma earlier.

Back to the convoy, the broadcasting was still ongoing, and it was very clear as day, that’s how good the drones were.

Inside the kitchen RV, the chefs were busy preparing supper while Zara sat outside in her wheelchair as she looked at Emma who was begrudgingly doing something that was not willing to do at all.

"Nanny, if you don’t make that cup of juice pretty quick. Trust me, tonight I will go on strike!" Zara shamelessly threatened without care as she glared at Emma and then the big watermelon, she had set her sight on from the moment she saw the small heap of watermelons getting sold earlier.

[Hahaha, my mother is asking why I am laughing like a madman right now. How can I tell her the reason?]

[Haha, you are not alone. This scene is killing me.]

[It’s like I am watching a variety show.]

[How can she look so cute when threatening others like that?]

[At most, I thought that she would only buy, and give to her team and family but who would have thought that there was such a plot twist?]

[Haha, did you see the nurse’s expression right now?]

[It’s even uglier than the nanny.]

[I am going to remember this day for a very long time.]

[I can’t wait to buy the watermelons. I want to taste just how great they are for PRINCESS to threaten everyone like that.]

It was an unexpected thing that happened as soon as the seller drove away. Who would have guessed that while waiting for food to be prepared, Zara would go berserk like that?

"Miss, you .... How about your milkshake?" Emma suggested as her hand held a scooping spoon while looking at Zara with an anticipatory expression.

Zara ruthlessly shook her head.

"No. I don’t want a milkshake today. I want watermelon juice!" she said solemnly, leaving no room for negotiations.

"But ...."

"Nanny you ..... how ... sniff .... How can you be so evil?" suddenly Zara started sniffing as her eyes went from white-blue a moment ago to red-white in a matter of seconds.

"Miss, you ...." Emma was taken aback by this sudden move of Zara she had not seen in years.

[OMG! Can someone translate to me what is happening?]

[It is exactly what you are seeing.]

[She ... is she crying right now?]

[It looks like that.]

[Does she really want that juice so badly?]

[Damn! If she wasn’t sick, I would have wished to see her cast in a drama one day. She is damn good.]

[You are not alone there. Did you see the shock on the nanny’s face?]

[Haha, it is a memorable scene.]

Even Ava was shocked by Zara’s shamelessness.

They raised her and watched her grow up, and throwing all sorts of antics at them. How could they not know what she was doing?

It’s just that seeing her doing it after years and on a broadcast makes it worse. She was speechless and so were others.

When Ava saw Zara tearing up, she knew that she was doomed. Even if she didn’t want to acquiesce to her, now she would be forced to do so.

And to make it worse, Zara just chose the perfect platform to do so. Wasn’t she afraid that her family would see her?

Ring. Ring. Ring.

And speaking of the devil, Emma’s phone started ringing.

When the phone started ringing, Zara raised her small face and wiped the streaming tears looking so pitiful that for those who had not seen her impromptu crying scene, they would believe it straight that she had been bullied.

Emma begrudgingly fished her phone from her pocket and, when she saw the name on the screen, she took deep breaths first before answering it without putting it on loudspeaker.

[Can anyone guess who just called?]

[It’s the first time I have seen anyone receiving a call.]

[Could it be our goddess mother?]

[Maybe it’s the father.]

[It would be nice if she put it on speaker.]

While the viewers were leaving comments and being curious about Emma’s call. Emma was feeling as if someone was playing a joke on her.

[Emma, whether my princess is fake crying or crying for real. My heart is aching right now and so will her dad’s when he sees this later. I don’t care what you do, but I want to see my baby smiling. If she wants juice, then make her juice.]

"But ..."

[No, buts. Even me who hasn’t been with her can see the changes she is going through. Isn’t she eating pretty well right now? Besides the villages the man spoke about are known for their organic products. Just give it to her and make some in advance.]

Lena’s instructions left no room for discussion at all and hearing all that, Emma knew that Zara had screwed her this time.

"It will be done as that." What else could she do except follow?

[And tell the chef to add some more meat. Is he feeding a toddler?]

Emma couldn’t help but stifle her laughter upon hearing the indignation in Lena’s voice.

"I will pass your instructions."

[I will be watching and just take care of my baby for me.]

"I will."

[...doot.....doot...doot ...]

After saying that, the call was hung up without any chance of bidding farewell.

Emma sighed as she put her phone back in her pocket before looking at Zara.

When she looked at the other, Emma, for a moment, felt like tickling the playful mistress for making her receive an earful from the third madam.

Zara grinned mischievously at Emma, winking at her playfully as if she was asking, ’What can you do to me?’

Seeing her actions, Ava looked aside and chuckled heartily, enjoying how Emma had fallen victim to Zara’s antics once again.
