Chapter 56: Chapter 56: ZARA GOES ON A DATE 3
"You can call me, Amir," Amir introduced himself as he looked kindly at Zara in particular, instead of Emma who had just asked for his name.
When Zara heard his name, she couldn’t help but look at him shyly, her cheeks reddening as she blushed a little.
"It’s a pleasure to finally know you, Mr. Amir. If I may be bold to ask, what are your intentions towards my Miss?" Emma asked outrightly without beating around the bush.
As the person who raised Zara until this very day, she didn’t want to see her baby hurting for no reason.
From nowhere this strange man appeared and suddenly owned the ring that her Miss wanted. On top of that, he seemed to be interested in Zara.
However, there was one thing that she knew but Amir didn’t know about. That day at the mansion, she had gotten a glimpse of his face for just a moment.
So, when she saw him, she was extremely surprised to know that he was the person who was seeking Zara out.
What were his intentions?
Could it be that his dealings with the Master didn’t pass so now he was targeting his weakest point and link?
However, she didn’t dare expose herself that she knew him.
If she becomes too hasty, who knows how much they could suffer?
Quinn wasn’t here at all. So, they had to tread carefully.
When Amir heard Emma’s question, if she was another servant, he would have reprimanded her and labelled her as rude.
However, knowing Emma’s status in Zara’s heart, he had no choice but to answer honestly.
Something deep inside him was telling him to not hold back. He shouldn’t hide it but let it all out.
So, he looked at Emma before shifting his focus to Zara and answered, "I want to spend the rest of my life with her!"
And that statement kept on repeating inside her head even an hour later.
Amir sat with a smile inside the gazebo he had his men prepare overnight in the middle of a flower field.
The scenery was just beautiful and when he first saw it; he was reminded of Zara. In his eyes, she looked like a flower. Very bright and a person who was capable of bringing joy to other people.
She had been cooped in her room for fifteen years and he just wanted her to see the beauty of the world.
In his thirty-one years, he had never done something like that before. In fact, he found it very foolish for men to do all sorts of things just to make a woman happy.
They were also like him, so why bother to trouble oneself to do that?
However, ever since he saw her photo as a child back in her father’s study, everything changed. He became certain when he saw her being wheeled into the RV.
Even if she was dying and meeting her end, he was going to escort her all the way. In fact, he wasn’t going to allow her to leave her. Why should he allow that when he had just met her?
However, for him to think of a future with her, he needs to do something very important first, and that is to worm his way into her heart.
He needed to replace Quinn’s position in her heart. Only that way would she look at him favorably and as a man who wanted her despite her condition.
Meanwhile, Zara shook her head as she tried to jolt herself back to reality. She hadn’t said a single word from the second she was taken from Emma and Ava.
Amir didn’t force her to talk but simply took her to such a beautiful place where she ended up getting lost in her own thoughts.
However, when she recalled how bold and forthright, he was when he confessed his feelings for her; she felt different emotions all at once.
She was happy, upset, confused and then happy. After all, apart from the normal affection shown by the people she grew up with, that was the first time someone confessed to her sincerely like that.
She didn’t have anything that a man like Amir would want. She was sick and on the verge of dying. Even if someone was to kidnap her right now and try to use her to steal from her family, it would be pointless.
In fact, she wouldn’t allow it to reach that point. She would rather end it than make her family lose much more than they already have.
Besides, there weren’t many people outside her family who really knew who she was. Although it was quite tricky how he got her private number, Zara didn’t sense any malicious intent from Amir.
Just like Quinn, Amir just wanted to make her happy.
And since they were already here; she might as well concentrate and discuss the real reason why they were both sitting in the gazebo admiring the flowers.
"Amir!" she called out softly as she looked at the man without shying away.
"Badum, badum, badum," his heart raced like crazy the second he heard that milky voice calling out his name.
He had been waiting for far too long to hear her just calling her name even if it was just once. It was like a dream come true.
However, he who had been used to being expressionless throughout, didn’t show his happiness outrightly like that even though his heart was in turmoil.
Nevertheless, his expression softened a bit which was a bit hard for her to see as he responded to her summons, "Dear, what is it?"
Zara’s cheek reddened once again the moment Amir used an endearment to call her. She thought that he would only call her like that on the phone but it seemed that he was quite brave to even call her like that in person.
"You .... Why are you doing this?" Zara asked as she bit her lower lip nervously.
