Chapter 32: I MISS YOU 3

Chapter 32: Chapter 32: I MISS YOU 3

Zara could be said to have minor princess syndrome. Everything about her, around her, should always show that she was a princess and a loved one on top of that.

Maybe it was something that her parents first instilled in her and then the surrounding servants solidified it.

There wasn’t a day when she was treated poorly. The level of serving was top-notch, and she had always loved it.

The fact that everyone spoiled her rotten, she knew it and above all loved it so much.

The thought of dying and leaving all the pampering behind made her heart ache a lot. She didn’t want to leave everything behind. She wouldn’t take it.

Even if she were to survive and continue to live, there was no way she would give it all up. She would take both of the worlds. Who said that one can’t have everything that he or she wants?

The bedroom that had been picked for her, Zara from the second she was carried inside, could tell that it was decorated to her tastes.

And with Quinn already here, it was obvious that he had considered everything when the bedroom was being made.

Zara’s love for comfort was something that everyone knew, even when she was a little child.

And that love even intensified when she got bedridden. As someone who spent most of her time in bed, her bed was changed several times a year and mostly, all her beds were customized for her.

She didn’t know how much money her parents had spent on her, but all she knew was that it was a lot. That was why she wanted to do something for them, even if it was just little.

She couldn’t give them money, but at least doing her best to live. Something that they desperately wanted could be their reward.

She didn’t want to make their effort to keep her alive all these years go to waste. If they were others, they would have cut her off already and let her rest in peace. But their love for her was enormous and for that, she was grateful.

She was also grateful to Quinn, who always went to such great lengths to provide her with the best comfort that she deserved.

The bedroom’s wallpaper was a mixture of baby blue, yellow, and pink.

Those three colors were her favorite. She loves her colors a bit light but at the same time very bright and vivid. Something about those three colors made her feel alive, so she was biased towards them a lot.

Even the bed cover was pink, which made her smile happily. However, her smile would have even been brighter if it weren’t for the unsightly machines just next to the bed.

’It seems like I won’t be able to run away from them, no matter what!’

She was even surprised to see them there. After running away from them at home, she just had to see them in a completely different city. What was Quinn up to?

However, she didn’t dare ask him, as she knew why he was doing so.

Just like everyone else, he was just worried about her.

So, when Quinn gently placed her on top of the bed and helped her to sit with the support of the fluffy pillows, she just enjoyed the moment.

Zara wasn’t connected to the machines yet as that was something Ava would do once; she had taken a bath.

So, for that moment, the two siblings just sat down and began to talk about many things.

"So, what are your plans now?" Quinn asked curiously as he covered Zara with a blanket, his whole body oozing with gentleness.

Zara yawned softly before smacking her lips and answered, "There isn’t anything much, really. For now, I will check the city, do some shopping and visit that place. I haven’t been there ever since I got involved," longing in her eyes.

Quinn nodded his head as he accepted what she had just said.

"That will make sense. We can’t leave without dropping there, especially with all the effort you have put in all these years."

"Hehe, good you understand me," Zara happily laughed as she looked at Quinn.

"I always do. Talking about that, can you now tell me why we are doing something this dangerous?" Quinn suddenly changed his tone and became serious as he asked her.

Zara froze a second upon getting questioned like that.

She had been expecting to be questioned like that from the very day she brought up this adventure business. But never had she thought that he would ask her at such a time.

"If you are not comfortable, just don’t force yourself!" Quinn added as soon as he saw how quiet Zara had become.

Her expression was speaking volumes. To him, as long as anything makes her feel discomfort, no matter how curious he would be, it wouldn’t be worth it.

She had to be comfortable and happy for him to be at ease all the time.

Zara sighed deeply as she shifted her gaze to Quinn.

She felt sorry actually for keeping this huge secret from him. No one knew about the golden book or the spiritual water that had been making her better every day.

She was afraid actually that no one would believe her and see her as a lunatic. Or she would give people so much hope. If she failed in the end and succumbed to death, the loss and pain they would feel would be much greater than when they didn’t know anything.

At least before she was sure that she could really get rid of this curse that was afflicting her, she didn’t dare tell the secret. However, she also didn’t dare to keep him hanging. She might lie to her family, but Quinn didn’t dare to hide everything.

So, she conceited a white lie she hoped that he would hold on to it until she was ready to expose it all.
