The Billionaire's Cursed Heiress -
Chapter 216: THANK YOU, FOR MAKING IT
Chapter 216: Chapter 216: THANK YOU, FOR MAKING IT
[Yes, you can. You are married and blessed,] the book responded.
If Zara had seen it, she would have been surprised to see a very interesting scene, one she didn’t take serious note of since she was concerned by the goddess statue at that time.
The blessings from the goddess of fertility. Whoever is blessed by that goddess, hehe, they would have kids in abundance.
How can the three goddesses just let her remain childless?
Zara beamed when she heard that answer. Since she could have kids, it meant that the rules were lax this time. She was overjoyed.
Q: Will Quinn work with the dark faction again?
Suddenly thinking about this matter, she asked nervously, worry filling her as she did so.
[Unfortunately, all ten questions have been exhausted. Sorry, I can’t give you an answer!]
’What?’ Zara was taken aback when she heard that response.
When did she exhaust her questions? Was the book scamming her?
The book, hearing her thoughts, decided to prove itself and clean itself from the crime.
So, it showed the questions which Zara asked alongside the answers. Zara, seeing the questions popping up one by one, grimaced as she felt stupid.
Why did she become impulsive and ask such questions without asking?
Now she lost the chance to know what was important.
Apparently, her sub-questions were seen as normal questions and now there was nothing that she could do.
’Fine. I get it!’ she accepted the book’s reasoning.
At least she got the answers she wanted. She won’t die with curiosity for most things. As for Quinn joining the dark faction, she would wait and see.
This time, she would be prepared and be on guard. She wasn’t alone, and there was no way she was going to be fooled by the same trick again.
Never!
[I am glad that you confirmed it. You have the final reward, are you curious about it?]
’What can it be?’ she asked curiously, her eyes shining, hoping for something great once again.
[Although the book will disappear, alongside the spiritual water that you have been drinking daily, you will be rewarded with a dimensional space. It will be of great help for you and I sincerely hope that you will utilize it well.]
’A space?’
[Yes. A space. You can take your time to analyze it. We are running out of time.]
’Are they arriving?’ she couldn’t help but ask as she looked towards the entrance of the temple.
[Um. They are arriving.]
’I guess that’s it then!’
[Indeed.]
’It was nice being with you.’
[It was a great pleasure as well.]
’I will miss you!’
There was silence from the book, and Zara waited for the answer nervously, not knowing how the book was going to respond.
"Dear child, you are awake?" the priestess exclaimed in surprise, happiness visible in her tone as she looked at her, startling Zara who didn’t expect to be found out so quickly as she was still waiting for the book to respond to her.
And the wait lasted for a very long time.
"Hehe, priestess. It’s good to see you again!" she chuckled dryly as she propped herself to sit as she looked at the other.
And the response she wanted from the book never came.
It went dark on her.
How horrible!

One Hour Later
Zara exhaled for the umpteenth time as she looked at the people who were looking at her as if she was going to disappear at any second.
Was it really that bad?
They have been like this ever since the temple.
First, it was the priestess who acted as if she had come face-to-face with her deity. When she was in the middle of dealing with the priestess, her parents arrived and the situation got out of hand.
Fortunately, her husband, Amir, stepped in and that’s how she ended up coming back to his house in one piece.
But then comes the trouble. Once she was all refreshed, she was surrounded by everyone as if she were an animal in the zoo, and the feeling didn’t sit well with her.
At the same time, she understood that she couldn’t chase these people away. They were so worried about her. She didn’t know how long she had been unconscious but judging by how relieved, shocked and thrilled they were all when they saw her. She had an inkling that once she heard the time, she would be shocked.
"Darling, are you sure that everything is fine?" Lena, for the umpteenth time ever since she saw her daughter awake, asked again.
Zara looked at her mother with a doting smile, affection oozing from her as she looked at the woman who risked it all to have her. How much she loves this woman. She was glad that she made it out.
Zara nodded with a smile as she responded, "Um. It’s all fine, Mom! Nothing will happen ever again. Be rest assured!" her words were very reassuring as she said so.
Lena’s eyes quivered upon hearing that and her lips trembled, as she tearfully looked at Zara as if she wanted to deeply ingrain this moment in her mind forever.
Zara felt teary as she saw her mother like that.
’I will not make you cry ever again! I promise!’ she vowed inwardly as the memories surged in her mind, projecting to her the many times she had made her mother shed tears in the past fifteen years.
It was time for her to be happy now.
Zara reached out for her mother’s hands, which couldn’t stop shaking from the anxiety and nervousness of the whole thing. And when those hands were in hers, her mother’s tears started streaming down her cheeks.
Zara looked at her, a tearful smile on her face, and said, "Mom, don’t cry. It’s all over now. The curse is gone and will never resurface again. I swear!" her tone was coaxing and earnest.
She didn’t want to see this woman cry for whatever reason, and more so for an issue that had been completely dealt with.
