The Billionaire's Cursed Heiress -
Chapter 194: THE FIRST WEDDING 2
Chapter 194: Chapter 194: THE FIRST WEDDING 2
Around eleven, those who were dolling up were done and everyone was gathering at the massive tent pitched at the golf course where the wedding was going to take place.
Recording this wonderful moment were the several drones’ invisible to the eyes of many.
Gathering all Hansley’s family members, those who could show up, there were thirty-four of them, including Zara.
And then the servants, who were many in numbers and on Amir’s side, there was himself and his sister who arrived yesterday for the wedding. They couldn’t have the wedding without at least one family member, so the sister came.
For outsiders, there was Diamond only, the special guest they couldn’t do without. And totaling everyone of importance, there were thirty-five guests.
And each one of them was dressed beautifully and handsomely, ready to make this day into one that wouldn’t be forgotten easily.
Around eleven-thirty, everyone was seated and ready for the bride and groom to make their appearance.
Ashely once again took an important role at the wedding. She was going to sing and play the piano, and the wedding march when the bride entered.
And she had been preparing for this moment for a few days and was pretty nervous.
The master of ceremonies was Selena. She was good at hosting events, so she took over this job.
" .... Now please let us welcome the groom to the front!" after speaking a lot of stuff, making everyone chuckle, forgetting the worries that awaited them in the future, Selena called for the groom and all eyes suddenly were at the back.
The necks were craned, and some even turned their bodies to get a closer look. Those who were younger had their phones out ready to capture the famous thief who stormed into their garden and stole their cabbage.
Ashely played a celebratory tune as Amir, the groom, made his entrance.
With the tune being played, all eyes were on Amir, who was nervous inside, though outwardly he didn’t appear so.
For this wedding, despite being a last-minute thing, he prepared a lot to look good for her.
The wedding theme was blue, with blue as one of Zara’s favorite colors.
So, to match the color theme, Amir wore a blue suit which fitted him perfectly, as if he was born wearing it.
His body was lean and muscular in the right places. So, when wearing a suit, something that the Hansleys didn’t see a lot, they found him so good-looking that they set aside their hatred for a moment.
Amir walked determinedly to the front and once he was in front, he looked at the Hansleys, the family he was about to join, and gave them a bow. This was his way of showing respect before the bride arrived.
With the arrival of the groom, it was the bride’s turn.
Bringing the bride to the groom wasn’t Cade and Lena, as what the others might have expected, but rather the grandparents.
When the wedding march started playing, Lena and Cade were the most nervous as they held each other’s hands.
After delivering the dress, Lena didn’t get to see her daughter wearing it. The little lady literally told her that she was going to see it for the first time just like the rest on the wedding day, and here she was.
When the wedding march started playing, a limousine could be seen driving slowly towards the tent where everyone was gathered.
The limousine came to a halt, and the passenger door opened, revealing Quinn, who was wearing a black suit.
When Amir saw his rival in love, for a moment he wanted to slam the other on the pillar, but then a thought dawned on him. Why should he do that?
He was the one marrying Zara, and Quinn was only lending a hand. Just imagining the kind of anguish, he must be going through on this day, Amir suddenly felt better.
Who told him to be so stubborn?
Feeling much better about that, his focus shifted to the back where his wife-to-be was.
When Quinn alighted from the car, he walked towards the back, where he opened the door.
He remained standing at the door side, where he helped the elderly out of the car.
Erica and Donald were the ones walking Zara on the aisle and for this moment, the two were dressed neatly, looking vibrant as if they had aged in reverse, which was a reliving thing to see, especially for their kids.
When the couple alighted, the next person to come out of the car was Zara and when she alighted from the car, a collective gasp sounded.
Badum. Badum. Badum.
Amir looked at his beautiful bride. His heart thumped like crazy as he felt his blood rushing all the way to his head.
Zara wore an ivory full-skirt gown. As her chest was a bit too flat for her liking, her maturity stage came a bit late. She didn’t dare wear a gown that would make her look like a kid and a joke.
Wearing the gown, people’s attention would be drawn more to the skirt than her chest. She also wore a jacket on top. Being a delicate human being, who felt cold easily, especially with the curse attacking strongly than before, she didn’t dare walk around with naked shoulders.
She was too bony to be that daring.
As the skirt was long, it also hides the fact that she wasn’t wearing any heels but flats which were very comfortable for her.
Zara refused to wear a white gown. With her hair blown out white, if she wore white again, would she look like an iceman? The one without the scarf or carrot as a nose.
The only ornaments on her were the golden and blue hairpins provided by Diamond as a wedding gift, as well as the diamond studs she wore.
Apart from those, she didn’t wear anything else.
Zara could walk for a long time actually, especially after getting that healing pill from Diamond. However, the curse was a bit too strong and forced her into a wheelchair for most of the time.
For this special day, she refused to move around in a wheelchair. Since she could still walk, why not walk towards her man, and stand with him as they get united as one?
