The Billionaire's Cursed Heiress -
Chapter 171: ARRIVAL
Chapter 171: Chapter 171: ARRIVAL
After being in the plane for goodness how long, a groggily Zara sighed with relief listening to the captain that they should buckle up as they were about to land.
Zara didn’t have to move, as someone helped her with that.
"Princess, don’t be afraid. Everything will be fine, trust us!" Emma helped Zara with her buckle, she comfortingly said, although her heart wasn’t at ease saying so.
Zara forced a smile as she looked at Emma and nodded. "Um. It will be. The goddess won’t forsake me!"
The goddess had promised and she shouldn’t let her down when she was just near the finishing line.
Emma smiled at hearing that and nodded.
She didn’t know which goddess it was, but since her miss had said that, then maybe it would happen as such.
With everyone buckled, the plane finally landed, and it was time for them to go through customs and immigration.
With Amir lending a hand in the back, it didn’t take much time for Zara and her team to be cleared, which was a relief.
Zara squinted her eyes as she looked at the glaring sun that greeted them, completely different from where she was coming from.
This side was summer, while where she came from was winter. Very strange and yet normal.
She didn’t have many summer clothes. In fact, she barely wore them as her body was always cold and required her to keep warm all the time.
So, when she was greeted by the sun, she didn’t feel that much affected but simply accepted what was going on.
Besides, it wasn’t like she was going to bask in the sun. There was no way she planned on becoming tanned. She loves her pale skin a lot. It had accompanied her for decades, after all.
Apart from the glaring sun, Amir was there to pick her up, so the sun was trashed to the side as she scanned him from head to toe.
This was the first time that she had seen Amir dressed in such an outfit. It made him look like an immortal, and her lips kept on curving upward.
Amir was wearing a tunic and sandals, and with the prayer beads in his hands, it could be seen that he must be from a temple. His attire and demeanor reminded her of what she saw in the dreams. She couldn’t help but smile.
"You look better this way!" she couldn’t help but praise loudly, a proud smile on her face.
Rather than seeing him wearing suits and jeans, this kind of dressing was better.
It made him look holy, though his thoughts were far from being holy. And looking at him like this made her recall Mir, the man who had dedicated himself to her in both lives without giving much.
How fortunate she was to have such a man like this to love her.
How could she repay such dedication?
Amir smiled at Zara, glad to see that she didn’t mind him when he was dressed in clothes that he was comfortable in.
Since he grew up dressing like this, and then with him building the temple and earnestly praying for all these years, he was comfortable in these clothes, and not the usual people would expect him to wear.
In his eyes, as long as his beloved likes him like this, then the rest of the people no longer matter.
"I am glad that you like it!" he said as he stopped in front of her, a blinding smile on his face.
Zara grinned foolishly, blinded by that smile. Her eyes only saw him.
And that scene was quite glaring, especially for Quinn, who at this time knew that his chances were reduced to zero.
There was nothing that he could do to help Zara in fighting against this curse. Every time something was needed, Amir would always pop up and contribute.
But what about him?
At times like these, even though he knows that he should accept his fate, he couldn’t help but be envious.
However, when he thinks of how he can still be by her side, protect her and do other things that Amir can’t do, his unsettled heart calmed.
"Hehe, I like everything about you!" feeling bolder, she couldn’t help but blurt as she raised her hands towards him for a hug.
Amir threw his head to the back as he burst into a peal of laughter, feeling jubilant about what he had just heard.
Zara pouted as her arms remained stretched, waiting for him to pick him up.
Amir patted his cheeks as he shifted his attention back to the pouting lady and, without saying a word, he picked her up as she wanted.
Amir’s men glanced at each other in shock. They couldn’t believe what they were seeing, but Tehr simply pretended to be dead.
He had seen far too much worse than this, so why should they be shocked like this?
With Zara nestling in Amir’s arms, she felt pretty good and safe.
He was the person who was with her in her first life and in this life; he was there with her as well. Always helped her without her asking and, above all, he loved her.
In this life, he fulfilled his promise. When he saw her, he fell for her and pursued her, not giving a chance to that traitor she still had to find until now.
Where could that person be?
She couldn’t help but wonder.
However, that curiosity quickly got pushed out of her mind as Amir carried her into the stretched limousine that was waiting for them.
As soon as they boarded the limousine and Zara was on his lap, she asked, "Where are we going?" anticipation written all over her face.
This was her first time in Rozinya, and her second time traveling abroad, so her knowledge was limited.
Amir tapped her nose with a mischievous smile on his face and Zara huffed at him, looking away, making Amir guffaw.
"How can you be petty dear?" he couldn’t help but ask out loud, as he gently turned her head so that she was facing him.
Puffing at him, Zara rolled her eyes and didn’t bother to respond.
In the end, the limousine was filled with a lot of "hahaha" as Zara laughed, her lungs out all the way to the place where Amir was taking him.
