"Do you want to rest now?" Ava asked with a chuckle seeing how pale Zara was with all her mother’s nagging and happy chatter earlier.

Massaging her temples, Zara sighed dejectedly not knowing what to do with her mother’s enthusiasm. For a second there, she regretted being overly joyful to the extent of exposing the relationship she found herself in after going on one trip.

She thought her mother would go haywire on her, but who would have known that her mother’s response would be so huge and in a good way?

Was it because her supposed boyfriend was too rich or what?

There was something that just didn’t make sense to her. However, asking her mother would be pointless. She was too good at keeping secrets. And if she doesn’t want anyone to know about something, it would be like that. That’s how awesome she was.

"I will not take a rest. Is Quinn back yet?" she asked, throwing away the thought of ever understanding her mother’s thoughts.

"Not yet, but he mentioned that if you wake up and well rested. You can go and check the presents. He placed them in the doll room!" Ava responded as she walked towards the bed.

Upon hearing that, her eyes brightened up. After seeing Amir’s gifts, she was curious as to what gifts Quinn gifted her. As he had been by her side for long, he was one of the people who knew what she liked and what she didn’t. so, her eagerness towards that was extremely high.

Flipping the bed covers away with a bit of struggle, she looked at Ava with sparkling eyes and said, "Take me there!" eagerly.

Ava shook her head lightly with a chuckle and took several steps forward to where Zara was.

She scooped the young lady from the bed easily since her body weight was still low. Even if she carried her for an hour, Ava believed that her arms wouldn’t go numb. Zara was that small and for someone who would be turning twenty-three tomorrow, it made her heart ache.

Nevertheless, she didn’t wear her emotions on her sleeve but maintained a doting smile as she carried the excited Zara to the doll room where Quinn had placed the gifts he brought for Zara.

Ava and the rest of the staff were very curious about the kind of gifts Quinn had found for Zara this time. Among everyone working for Zara and the family included, he was the one who knew her pretty well. And he was the only person who managed to make her smile with the gifts he handed.

But now she wasn’t sure. After seeing that smile Zara had when unboxing the gifts from that fox who scammed her into a relationship, Ava didn’t know anymore.

Meanwhile, Zara’s eyes never stopped sparkling. In fact, they glowed brighter upon seeing the boxes nicely wrapped and waiting for her to unbox.

"Should we start?" Ava asked as she placed Zara on a soft couch with several cushions to keep her in place.

Zara nodded her small head, her eyes never leaving the small hill.

With her approval, Ava walked towards the small hill and started unboxing.

"I wonder what he brought this time!" as she clapped her hands excitedly, Zara spoke out loud.

Ava smiled, the corner of her lips curling upwards as her thoughts combed through the gifts of the previous years. "It will be something that will make you happy. I am sure of it!"

Grinning foolishly as she recalled the past, Zara nodded as she agreed with Ava’s words. "Um. He never disappoints. The best brother I could ever ask for!" and praising her good eye for picking a brother.

Quinn was better than all of her biological brothers combined. Apart from money, what did those brothers of hers give her?

Hearing the words ’best brother’ coming out of Zara’s mouth, Ava silently lit a candle for Quinn. It seemed that he had lost before he could even fight. What a pity! They were all rooting for him! Unfortunately, fate is a tricky thing!

Shaking the worrisome thoughts away, Avan proceeded to use a small knife when unboxing and revealed the contents of the first box.

"Should we see them one by one?" Ava asked as she took out the wrapped gift inside the box.

Zara pondered for a bit comparing the pros and cons and after a while, she shook her head.

"Unbox everything first. I will take my time to look at them." Rather than suffering from anxiety about what the next box might contain as how she suffered when unboxing Amir’s early presents, she wanted to check everything at once.

So, with that instruction given, Ava’s speed when unboxing increased. And when she was in the process of doing so, Quinn and Emma joined them.

Quinn didn’t bother to help the ladies but went to stand behind Zara and started massaging her head.

With the woolen hat off her head, the small head full of white hair was revealed. Looking at the beautiful white hair which had accompanied Zara for nearly half of her life, he began to wonder.

If she gets well, would this hair turn back to its original color or it would remain like that? He couldn’t help but be curious. However, he didn’t ask her. It was a happy occasion and not a moment to remind her about things she obviously disliked hearing a lot.

After goodness how long, everything was out? And the real reveal started.

"What is in that one?" Zara asked as she pointed towards the nearest wrapped gift.

Upon getting a target, Emma who was close, picked the gift and opened it as carefully as she could, since she didn’t want to damage whatever was in there.

"Oh!" she exclaimed as soon as the content came out.

Zara looked at what was being held, she looked at Quinn before bursting into laughter, the corner of her lips curled and her eyes squinted.

Quinn seeing her like that, felt relieved. She doesn’t hate it but likes it. That’s what he got from her sudden outburst.

"Give it to me! This one look interesting!" she said eagerly as she stretched her gloved hands over.

Emma respectfully sent the gift she still couldn’t understand why her miss would like it or why Quinn bought it in the first place.

However, hearing Zara’s words made her understand that she might really not understand the mind of her miss at all.
