The Billionaire Ex-Wife Stormed Back as a Marvelous Divine Doctor -
Chapter 135: Kissed Edwin Blake
Chapter 135: Chapter 135: Kissed Edwin Blake
"Brother, wait for me, don’t run so fast."
Emmy was desperately trying to catch up from behind.
Fatty didn’t knock on the door; he directly took out the spare key and unlocked the door.
Ivy River heard the noise.
She pushed Edwin Blake toward the balcony, "You need to get down quickly."
Edwin was unhurried, even showing a desire to open the door, "I’ll open the door, let’s see what that punk can do."
Ivy got anxious, pulling his hand toward the balcony, "It’s only five or six meters; you won’t die jumping down from here."
"No way, what if I break my leg?"
Ivy didn’t want to waste time with him, "You won’t die! I’m a doctor, haven’t I earned your trust?"
Edwin lazily leaned against the balcony, showing no sense of urgency.
Ivy was extremely anxious.
She glanced around and saw the balcony of the villa opposite.
"You can go to my neighbor’s house; they are currently renovating, so the balcony hasn’t been sealed yet. Jumping over will be fine!"
Edwin calmly responded, "Am I that shameful?"
"It’s me, I’m the one afraid of Fatty torturing me, please just go."
Ivy made a pleading expression.
Edwin continued to tease, "What if the neighbors are home and accuse me of trespassing?"
Ivy snapped, "Are you going or not? I already said the neighbors aren’t home, is your ear blocked with hair?"
"Fine, don’t be so anxious. Give me a kiss and I’ll leave."
Edwin leaned his face towards her.
Ivy gritted her teeth, closed her eyes, and gave him a quick peck, "Now go!"
"Nope, that was too half-hearted, no feeling at all. Can you be a bit more gentle, considerate? Lips are soft, don’t just peck at them like that."
Edwin was picky.
As the door was about to open, Ivy hurriedly gave him a gentle kiss, "Now go!"
Watching as she pointed to the balcony of their own house.
This time Edwin didn’t say anything, he stepped on the balcony and directly crossed over.
Watching him go over so effortlessly.
Ivy was stunned.
At that moment, Fatty also opened the door and walked in.
"Mommy, what are you doing?"
Emmy followed, poking her little head in, "Mommy, why didn’t you respond when I called you earlier? I thought you were taken by a bad guy."
Fatty walked into the room suspiciously.
He opened the bathroom door immediately; it was empty.
Then he began to survey the room.
Ivy laughed awkwardly, "Mom was washing her face just now, the sound of water might’ve been too loud, so I didn’t hear you."
"Really?" Fatty, in a pretentious adult manner, began to scan the room.
Not missing a single corner, including under the bed.
Seeing he was about to head to the balcony.
Ivy saw Edwin standing still on the opposite balcony, even lighting a cigarette.
He smoked leisurely, blowing smoke at her.
She desperately signaled with her eyes, but Edwin pretended not to notice.
Ivy mouthed, "What exactly do you want?"
Edwin chuckled softly, "Promise me three things."
"Damn!" Ivy couldn’t help but curse aloud.
Fatty poked his head, "Mommy? What’s wrong."
"Nothing, nothing, let’s go downstairs." Ivy headed out, trying to fool Fatty.
Fatty was clever, "I want to go to the balcony and get some fresh air."
Ivy, who was about to step onto the balcony, retracted her foot and turned to Edwin, "I promise you."
Hearing her satisfactory answer, Edwin smiled like a cunning fox.
He had just gone inside when Fatty arrived at the balcony.
His intuition told him something was fishy here.
He looked around but found nothing suspicious.
"Let’s go, time to eat downstairs."
Ivy’s heart sank to the floor as she moved forward to pat Fatty’s little head.
Emmy ran over at this point, "Mommy, why didn’t you answer me just now!"
"I wanted to play hide and seek with you, who knew you’d call brother over." Ivy pretended to be upset.
Emmy quickly waved her hand, the baby fat on her face visibly shaking, "No, no, it wasn’t me, I went downstairs to get the keys, brother snatched the keys and came up, didn’t wait for me at all!"
Ivy pinched her chubby cheek, looking at Fatty’s frowning face, "What are you suspecting?"
"Suspecting you’re hiding someone in the house."
Fatty laid it out bluntly.
Ivy spoke calmly, "Why would you say that?"
"You weren’t acting right just now, you were anxious, kept telling me to go downstairs."
Ivy maintained her composure, "People have three urgent needs, how am I supposed to use the bathroom with you here?"
Fatty snorted coldly, he didn’t believe such nonsense for a second.
"What are you snorting about?"
Fatty said, "I don’t believe you, such words can only fool your daughter."
Their conversation sparked Emmy’s curiosity.
She let go of Ivy and directly hugged Fatty, "Brother, tell me closely, who is it? Man or woman? Did you see it? How long ago did you see it?"
"And you said mom’s words can only fool me, what does that mean, explain!"
"Could it be that mom’s secretly seeing a boyfriend without us knowing? Impossible, mom has androphobia, but it’s fine if she finds one, someone who can handle mommy’s temper, to help us share some of the burden."
Fatty shook his head and couldn’t help but fiddle with his ears.
Emmy was the biggest little troublemaker on his path to uncover the truth.
He gestured with a stop, "Stop, let’s go downstairs to eat."
Seeing Fatty going downstairs, Emmy rushed to follow, "No, no, brother, you haven’t answered my question, hurry and tell me the answer, you’re so annoying!"
Fatty covered his ears, "You’re the annoying one, Emmy, sometimes I really feel like sewing your mouth shut!"
Ivy chuckled a bit.
Little rascal!
Competing with her, there’s always a taller mountain.
Older ginger is spicier.
Using the sister to attack the brother, this tactic, complete win!
After tidying up, Ivy went downstairs to eat.
Not seeing Fatty, "Emmy, stop watching TV, clean up and get ready for school, where’s your brother?"
Emmy paused the TV, obediently replying to her, "I don’t know where brother went, seems like he went upstairs?"
"What’s he doing upstairs?" Ivy mumbled, still with pizza stuffed in her mouth.
"Dunno, he said he was going upstairs to play detective." Emmy pouted, muttering with her little mouth, "Super detective, seriously playing, forget it, my TV is better."
Detective?
A sense of foreboding rose in Ivy’s chest.
She immediately put down her chopsticks and rushed upstairs in big strides.
Seeing this, Emmy quickly turned off the TV and ran upstairs too.
Edwin with a grim face said, "Vincent River, try killing me if you dare, otherwise I’m your dad."
Fatty coldly scolded, "I really want you dead, but right now I don’t feel like inheriting your business, once I reach adulthood and can inherit, you can die on my birthday, that way I’ll remember you."
