Chapter 134: Chapter 134: Ivy River’s Golden House藏娇

Ivy River threw off the covers, shifted her body, and confirmed she hadn’t been slept on.

Then she delivered a few hard kicks to Edwin Blake.

Edwin Blake, still in a deep sleep, felt his body being hit.

He groggily opened his eyes and looked at the angry little person, his voice hoarse, "What’s wrong?"

Ivy River slapped Edwin Blake directly, "Who let you sleep on my bed!"

Edwin Blake wasn’t angry; he chuckled and said, "Sleepwalking."

"Then what about my pajamas!" Ivy River angrily pointed at the pajamas on the floor.

Edwin Blake said earnestly, "I don’t know, maybe you took them off yourself."

"You’re full of crap!" Ivy River looked at his rogue face, wishing she could slap him twice more.

"Whatever you say goes, anyway, we’re an old couple, what’s the big deal about one night?"

Ivy River: ???

Although it was Chinese, I couldn’t quite understand that sentence.

She frowned, "Get out first, I need to change, and we’ll settle this later."

Edwin Blake didn’t move, "Is there anywhere on your body I haven’t seen? Why so shy? No need to treat me as an outsider."

Ivy River closed her eyes.

This man’s face is really thick.

"Get out!"

Edwin Blake stopped teasing her and got up to go to the bathroom.

Ivy River hurriedly got up and dressed hastily; it was about time Fatty would come to wake her up.

If he found a man in her room.

And it was his scoundrel of a dad.

He would probably freak out.

As if called by his name, Fatty knocked on the door, shouting before entering, "Mommy, get up!!!"

Along with the sound of drums and gongs.

Ivy River looked at Fatty with a nervous face, "I’m up, you go downstairs."

Fatty was stunned to see her already dressed.

His short legs trotted over to her side, stood on his tiptoes to climb onto the bed, and tried to touch her forehead.

"No fever here, so why is the sun rising from the west today?"

Ivy River said nervously, "Isn’t it good that I’m up? Go downstairs, quickly."

"When there’s something unusual, there’s a ghost, usually, no matter how I call you, you don’t get up, why are you so proactive today?" Fatty refused to leave, standing on the bed questioning Ivy River.

"The alarm couldn’t be turned off today, so I just got up, isn’t that okay? You quickly go downstairs, I need to wash up."

Fatty frowned; why was Mommy always hurrying him downstairs today?

He asked curiously, "Mommy, what’s wrong, why are you rushing me?"

Ivy River was already tense, hearing this made her even more so.

Fatty wasn’t as easy to fool as Emmy; he was sharp.

So she tried to steady her nerves, "You came to wake me up; now I’m up, naturally, you should go downstairs to make breakfast."

Fatty nodded, but still doubted, "Mommy, you’re not hiding anything from me, are you?"

"No, no! Why would I hide anything from you?"

Ivy River’s voice trembled uncontrollably.

Damn it!

Vincent River, this brat, is just like his dad.

They both have an innate sense of oppression.

Lying in front of them always makes me nervous.

Fatty jumped off the bed and walked out, "Okay, nothing else, I’ll go downstairs and make breakfast for Emmy; she wants pizza..."

Ivy River quickly waved her hand, "Okay, go ahead."

As she waved, she subconsciously glanced at the bathroom.

Continuously praying in her heart, Edwin Blake, please don’t come out!

If he came out, she wouldn’t be able to explain.

Victory was in sight!

Fatty didn’t miss her glance and curiously turned his head to look at the bathroom as he reached the door.

Ivy River’s heart skipped a beat.

Why did this kid look at the bathroom out of nowhere?

She quickly walked over and nudged Fatty out, "Go make food for Emmy, if you’re late today, I won’t explain for you."

Fatty already thought his mom was acting strange.

Now he thought so even more, he clung to the door frame, "Mommy, you’re not hiding a man from me, are you?"

Ivy River froze.

She was too shocked to speak.

Fatty, seeing her reaction, suspiciously pushed her away, intending to take a look around the room.

Ivy River immediately grabbed him, shouting, "How could I! Go make breakfast."

"Really no?"

"Really no!" Ivy River insisted.

"Alright then, I’m going."

Fatty walked away, looking back every few steps.

With a constant bad premonition.

Ivy River immediately closed the door and considerately locked it.

She clutched her chest, mumbling to herself, "Scared me to death, why is this kid so alert!"

Edwin Blake opened the bathroom door with a smile, staring at Ivy River, and laughed, "Are you that afraid of him?"

Ivy River, still shaken, instinctively spoke softly, "That brat was clever from a young age, and has an aura of oppression, just like you! In front of him, lying makes you naturally feel guilty."

"Oh~ Takes after me, huh? Next time he acts up, I’ll come out and sort him out for you."

Edwin Blake looked at Ivy River’s absent-minded expression.

Could not help but burst out laughing.

Ivy River was startled by the laughter, gradually regaining her thoughts, realizing what she said.

Her face went red, and she grabbed Edwin Blake by the collar to the balcony.

"Get out of my house quickly, we’ll settle this later."

Edwin Blake deliberately said, "How should I leave?"

Ivy River whispered furiously, "The way you came, go back that way."

"It’s broad daylight, I sleepwalked over; I don’t know how to go back." Edwin Blake shrugged, looking helpless.

Ivy River gritted her teeth in anger.

She really wanted to punch Edwin Blake. Holding back her anger, she said, "Jump off from here."

Edwin Blake was utterly shocked.

Pointing at the ground, he incredulously said, "Ivy River, you wouldn’t be asking me to jump from the second floor!"

Ivy River nodded, "If you don’t go this way, then how?"

Edwin Blake was infuriated by her attitude, realizing she really didn’t care about his wellbeing!

"I’m not leaving, I’ll go downstairs and enjoy my son’s lovingly made breakfast."

Ivy River panicked, "No way, if Fatty sees you, there’ll be trouble."

"Am I really that unpresentable?" Edwin Blake scolded.

"It’s the truth! I don’t care, you can’t use the stairs; otherwise," Ivy River looked disdainful, "stay on the balcony until I wash up and go downstairs, then use the front door."

Edwin Blake was amused while annoyed, "You really think you’re hiding someone precious, don’t you?"

Just then, there was a knock on the door.

Emmy’s sweet voice sounded, "Mommy, come down for breakfast quickly, it’s all ready."

"Huh, why is the door locked?"

Emmy started knocking furiously.

This scared Ivy River to death; her eyes darted around the room.

Lifting the bedsheet, the space under it was too small for Edwin Blake to hide.

Behind the curtain wouldn’t work either; his feet would show.

The bathroom had already been used; Fatty would definitely grow suspicious.

There was no place left!

Had I known, I would have put a wardrobe in the bedroom!

Ivy River thought, looking at Edwin Blake with a face full of resentment, "Why are you so tall? Otherwise, you could just squeeze under the bed!"

Edwin Blake’s face darkened, "Am I really that unsightly?"

Emmy couldn’t open the door and didn’t hear Ivy River’s response.

In an instant, her mind filled with countless possibilities.

She rushed downstairs to fetch the spare key, "Brother! Quickly give me the spare key; Mommy’s not responding, is something wrong with her!"

Fatty was stunned, holding the key as he sprinted upstairs.
