Chapter 70: Chapter 070: Are You Willing to Be My Third Wife?

Dan Taylor quickly tried to calm Jule down. "Jule, Adrian is right; we really can’t interfere in these matters. Let’s all just say less, so we don’t spoil the mood."

"Adrian, don’t worry," Dan assured him. "We will definitely come for your son’s daytime celebration and give him a big red envelope."

Trevor Harrington and Melanie Carpenter weren’t particularly close, so he didn’t feel a strong need to defend Melanie. Instead, he was more curious about the woman named "Mai," who had somehow managed to capture Adrian’s heart.

"Is Mai beautiful? Bring her out and let us have a look... We’re all curious about what kind of woman could win your heart, Adrian," Trevor asked.

Adrian smiled. "Of course, she’s beautiful." Otherwise, he wouldn’t have saved her.

If she hadn’t been so attractive that he was smitten at first sight, he would’ve fed her to the sharks long ago.He, Adrian Desmond, was hardly a good person.

"How beautiful? Is she more beautiful than Daisy Green?" Trevor inquired.

Daisy Green was an Abyanabad actress, renowned as the most beautiful woman in Abyanabad.

Adrian didn’t know who Daisy Green was, but he believed no one was as beautiful as Sienna Johnson. He firmly replied, "Of course!"

Hearing Adrian’s response, this group of playboys grew even more interested. They all wanted to see just how beautiful this woman who had captured Adrian’s heart truly was.

Dan Taylor and Trevor Harrington exchanged a knowing glance. Then Dan suggested, "This wine isn’t great. The wine from Adrian’s cellar is much better. Why don’t we go there and get some good wine?"

Trevor immediately agreed, "Great idea."

Adrian was possessive and didn’t want to show off his woman. He replied, "She’s not feeling well today. Maybe some other time." And there never would be another time!

Once Maxwell Bradford was dealt with, Adrian planned to take her back to the island.

"What’s wrong with her?" someone asked.

A flash of embarrassment crossed Adrian’s face. "She’s pregnant, and her appetite is off. She can’t really eat anything."

"It must be your cook’s fault! Luckily, I’m a great chef. Let me cook a few dishes for her. I guarantee that after one taste, she’ll only want to eat my food from now on."

When Dan was in school, he had learned to cook for a woman he was infatuated with, and his culinary skills were actually quite impressive.

Trevor was itching with curiosity; he knew he wouldn’t be able to sleep if he didn’t see Sienna tonight. "Let’s go! What are we waiting for?"

"Let’s go," Dan agreed cheerfully, and they both stood up. Without waiting for Adrian’s approval, they linked arms and headed towards his house, as they knew the way.

"Hey..." Adrian abandoned his winnings and quickly followed them.

Sienna wasn’t known for her good temper. After all the trouble he’d put her through yesterday, she was angry enough to want to bite a chunk of flesh off him. He had decided to go out drinking with his friends tonight precisely to give her some space to cool off before he returned.

But now, he was bringing this unruly group back with him. Who knew what kind of a commotion Sienna would cause this time.

「...」

Ultimately, he couldn’t stop them. Several luxury cars pulled into the Desmond residence. Sienna was by the pond feeding the fish when the housekeeper reported that Adrian had returned.

Sienna dropped the fish food and retreated to the backyard. She didn’t want to see him.

"Madam, the Sixth Master is here. Shouldn’t you go greet him? It wouldn’t be right not to," the housekeeper said hesitantly.

"Tell him to get lost! I don’t want to see him," Sienna rasped, her voice hoarse. It was all Adrian’s fault.

How could the housekeeper dare to relay such outrageous words?

As soon as the men entered, they began to look around. "Hey, where’s your woman?" one of them called out to Adrian.

Adrian turned to a nearby servant and asked, "Where is Madam?"

The servant replied, "She was just feeding the fish by the pond."

They had passed the pond on their way in but hadn’t seen Sienna. Mr. Lucas, the housekeeper, hurried over. "Sixth Master, Madam just went to the backyard."

Adrian frowned. "You take care of the customers; I’ll go find her."

Dan, brimming with enthusiasm, suggested, "Let’s all go!"

Unable to sit still, the men used the excuse of wanting to tour Adrian’s backyard. Adrian didn’t expose their flimsy pretext and led the group into the backyard.

At night, the backyard was even more serene. Lanterns were lit, casting a soft glow for ambiance. Sienna sat quietly in a pavilion beside a patch of green bamboo, looking like a figure in a painting.

She was wearing a white gown today, adorned with tiny, sparkling diamonds. Adrian remembered the dress; a designer had sent it over. Initially, Sienna had refused to wear it, thinking it too extravagant. He had threatened to throw away all her other clothes, and only then did she reluctantly put it on.

She didn’t like extravagant clothes, but she certainly deserved to wear such finery.

He wanted to give her the best the world had to offer.

Dan Taylor and the others were also stunned by her beauty. Dan dazedly approached Sienna and asked, "Beauty, would you be willing to be my third wife?"

Sienna hadn’t expected a man to suddenly appear in the backyard. She was startled for a moment, but then she saw Adrian not too far away and relaxed.

Her gaze lingered on Dan’s infatuated face for a moment. Then, with a dazzling, charming smile and eyes that sparkled like a lake, she replied, "Of course! If you’re willing to be my second man!"

Trevor couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

"Who’s your first man?" Dan asked, refusing to give up.

Sienna looked towards Adrian, who was slowly walking over. Before she could speak, Adrian interjected, "I am her first man!"

He stepped in front of Sienna, shielding her from Dan’s lewd gaze.

Dan was fearless when it came to admiring beauty. He jumped up and down, trying to get a better look at Sienna. However, his height was no match for the towering Adrian, who completely blocked his view.

"Beauty, I’m willing to be your second man!" Dan declared.

Adrian kicked Dan in the stomach, sending him flying. "Dan Taylor, you’ve got some nerve, hitting on my woman right in front of me!"

Jule looked disdainfully at Dan, who was making a fool of himself, pursed his lips, but said nothing.

Trevor laughed. "What man wouldn’t be tempted by such a beautiful woman? Especially a compassionate man like Edward."

"Beauty, do you have an older sister or a younger sister?" Dan asked persistently.

"Have you all seen enough? Go pick some wine from the cellar, and then get lost!" Adrian ordered.

Dan was still not giving up. "Let me take one more look, and then I’ll go!"

"Get out!"

"Beauty, I’ll come to see you again!" Dan babbled on, "Although I am shorter than Adrian, I am gentler. I may not know martial arts, but I will protect you, even though..."

At a signal from Adrian, two bodyguards grabbed the babbling, delirious Dan and dragged him out.

Trevor also wanted another look at Sienna, but Adrian was being too possessive. Realizing he wouldn’t gain anything by lingering, Trevor reluctantly left as well.
